Subscribed, the training videos are good. I always would break late until watching your videos. I've knocked a couple of seconds off lap times.

Great video! Good point about thinking like the other driver, I need to start doing that. Also, definitely liking the shorts from your vacation!

great video. I think most beginners need to learn WHERE To overtake on the track. In lower ranked lobbies, i find some morons trying to overtake in the down hill section and they just end up causing crashes.

Once you reached the stage of complaining about beginners (skill based match making) the next stage would be to avoid them and reach a higher Driver rating

@@scarfejs_ I'm driver ranked B, (which i think is above average; tell me if it isnt) in GT7. However, I still experienced ranked B DR and SA a+ trying to overtake in the most lunatic spots ever.

@@mart1n10601 i think high A is above average, B and low A will feel average once you reach A, i don’t trust others so when you see someone nervous behind or infront of you act accordingly, pick a good strategy and rather avoid incidents even if it’s not your fault, you loose less time avoiding it compared to getting in a collision etc and have fun, when you catch yourself becoming angry due to behaviors by strangers you need to snap out of it and try to enjoy your time playing

When you take the wider line to setup for a good run out of Forest Elbow, it's only natural for the leading car to take a sharper more defensive line.
I understand he also might've been going for an undercut, which explains his sharp line. But it looks like he was trying to minimise his gap to the car in front so he could catch it's slipstream.
I guess you just spooked him into a naturally defensive line, which gave him an incentive to try for the slipstream in front.

I wouldn't say so, there is no point of overtaking there. It'll most likely end in a crash. The usual line is more to the inside since it gives better rotation and better overall time gain. But if you're attacking, you need around 0.4 and more momentum to get the move done by the end of the straight. That's why I went wide.

I didn't say you were going for the overtake there, he took a sharper line because of defense. It doesn't matter what you're doing behind, if you're close enough to scare someone, or make them think, they automatically go defensive and go sharp. To him, your line doesn't matter if he's going defensive - all he knows is you're close. Irrespective of you setting up for the run, or not

Get a good lap time, start at the front, drive consistent lap times, avoid the divers, level up in driver ratings
