I love how you explain the why in every step. Not only do you explain it in a way that is easy to understand, but it makes each step easier to remember because I know why we are doing every step instead of just mindlessly following a guide

Amazing presentation. So easy to understand for someone with basic knowledge of tanning.

Thank you for all yours videos, I love them. I'm a beginner of tanning buckskin and I tried different things. I would like to keep the hair on the hide and I would like to have the hole process of tanning from a to z because I certainly do something wrong because the hide smells bad. Thank you in advance for all your advice. Chantal

If you are brain tanning a deer..even when fully tanned the hairs will eventually dry out and break off because they are hollow...for hair on tanning most it is better to tan a small fur bearer rabbit, fox, racoon...big hides like cow or buffalo...you can brain tan any animal you can get ahold of..just understand that not all tan the same way and on any deer in north America the hair is hollow and will eventually break off leaving an awful mess to clean up

I just skinned and got my first coyote hide tonight. I ended up doing a hot water salt soak and I have no idea what to do next. Do you have any suggestions, I just want it to be soft and move freely like a blanket.

Signing up for the mailing list on my website is the best way to hear about them. My website is www.buckskinrevolution.com, and the new course URL is: www.academy.buckskinrevolution.com/connectionissurvival
