As someone who played H1Z1 from it's early days and saw the actual rise of BRs with that game, PUBG did an amazing job capitalizing on what H1 lacked and made just an all around better game. Fortnite came in at the perfect time where people were crazy hungry for a good BR game, and PUBG's terrible optimization was driving people away as fast as they were coming in. Fortnite was a BR game that worked very well and all the streamers that were thriving off the new BR genre jumped aboard and brought all their viewers with them. I can easily say literally any other game that had come out at the time and worked as smoothly as Fortnite did, it'd be the one everyone looks to as the household name we all know.

I remember my first Fortnite win. It was outside of prison during season 2 and i was near 3 trees and a car. It was me and 2 others and both seen me and were beaming me. I then peaked on one with 10 health and headshot him for my 4th kill, the other guy (who had circle) decided to push to me with no trees or cover. I then placed a lauch pad down and flew up into a tree and RPG’d the guy once for my first victory royale
Uhm 1000 vbucks is 10$ and if you buy the battle pass you have infinite vbucks because the battle pass is 950 vbucks and you get 1500 from the battle pass.
I mean its free to play but u can buy skin if u want its not forceing u to buy v bucks just like pubg its not forceing u to buy skin or something else. But for me fornite is better then pubg heck if u wanna play realistic game i more to apex then pubg.

I've found the most entertaining thing for me when playing pubg is to limit myself in how I can kill. Some matches I say I can only get pan and grenade kills, others I can only use pistols, etc. It makes it super entertaining and by doing so I learn better tactics for each weapon. For melee, best place to land and practice getting kills is in a crowded city. If you hear someone near you, jump out window of top story to next building and throwing smokes randomly and keep doing this. Best city for this is Pochinki. The enemy will be so confused by chase they won't notice you right behind them, smacking them with a pan :P Another fun way to play is try to reach the end without gear, or trying to reach second place with no kills (best way to do this in Erangle is land in a very small unpopular town, get healing and any other stuff like that, collect loads of gas cans, and start swimming / using boats when circle moves in. A lot of airdrops go unclaimed in the water so you might get lucky and get ghillie suit. If no water left except for river go to river and hide under bridges. If you reached so far that no water is left, hopefully you got a ghillie suit because now it's time to hide in a bush at edge of circle, and just keep moving in with the circle trying to stay behind hills. Anyway, super fun, y'all should try it!!!
There are many differences (movement, art style, physics etc.) but they can be put under being "realistic" I feel like people who are more about the guns will definitely choose PUBG PUBG is more difficult I feel Fortnite is easy to learn, hard to master (because of the building) PUBG is hard overall It's not really for just casual gamers In fortnite you don't have to adjust your sights to match the distance because the guns and physics are far more casual user friendly I feel more pressure when playing PUBG, I focus more, I listen to every sound You have to think more tactically, you can't just build your cover, you have to use your surroundings to your advantage, and you're way slower Fortnite is more about fun, reflexes and aim PUBG is more about tactical thinking Overall, I'm definitely more of a PUBG player I tend to play realistic tactical shooters (Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose) or games that really push you to rely on sound, positioning and gun knowledge (Hunt Showdown) But my gf would have way more fun with fortnite But let's all agree, the dances are stupid, and the dance grenades are somehow stupider

I remember my first Fortnite win. It was outside of prison during season 2 and i was near 3 trees and a car. It was me and 2 others and both seen me and were beaming me. I then peaked on one with 10 health and headshot him for my 4th kill, the other guy (who had circle) decided to push to me with no trees or cover. I then placed a lauch pad down and flew up into a tree and RPG’d the guy once for my first victory royale

Uhm 1000 vbucks is 10$ and if you buy the battle pass you have infinite vbucks because the battle pass is 950 vbucks and you get 1500 from the battle pass.

I've found the most entertaining thing for me when playing pubg is to limit myself in how I can kill. Some matches I say I can only get pan and grenade kills, others I can only use pistols, etc. It makes it super entertaining and by doing so I learn better tactics for each weapon. For melee, best place to land and practice getting kills is in a crowded city. If you hear someone near you, jump out window of top story to next building and throwing smokes randomly and keep doing this. Best city for this is Pochinki. The enemy will be so confused by chase they won't notice you right behind them, smacking them with a pan :P
Another fun way to play is try to reach the end without gear, or trying to reach second place with no kills (best way to do this in Erangle is land in a very small unpopular town, get healing and any other stuff like that, collect loads of gas cans, and start swimming / using boats when circle moves in. A lot of airdrops go unclaimed in the water so you might get lucky and get ghillie suit. If no water left except for river go to river and hide under bridges. If you reached so far that no water is left, hopefully you got a ghillie suit because now it's time to hide in a bush at edge of circle, and just keep moving in with the circle trying to stay behind hills.

I feel like people who are more about the guns will definitely choose PUBG
PUBG is more difficult I feel
Fortnite is easy to learn, hard to master (because of the building)
PUBG is hard overall
It's not really for just casual gamers
In fortnite you don't have to adjust your sights to match the distance because the guns and physics are far more casual user friendly
I feel more pressure when playing PUBG, I focus more, I listen to every sound
You have to think more tactically, you can't just build your cover, you have to use your surroundings to your advantage, and you're way slower
Fortnite is more about fun, reflexes and aim
PUBG is more about tactical thinking
Overall, I'm definitely more of a PUBG player
I tend to play realistic tactical shooters (Post Scriptum, Hell Let Loose) or games that really push you to rely on sound, positioning and gun knowledge (Hunt Showdown)
But my gf would have way more fun with fortnite
But let's all agree, the dances are stupid, and the dance grenades are somehow stupider
