My only serious gripe about recommending this game, despite hearing and perhaps finding it way fresher than series past, is that the lack of a campaign combined with the more polished experience will only fuel the fire of AAA decrying single-player games as 'dead.' I don't expect CoD to _ever_ go back to making campaigns anymore after how well this game launched, even if the shareholders are still being bitchy and demanding more money anyway.
But are we really just gunna pretend like there's an infinite well of opportunity to create new call of duty campaigns? Think about the creative decision from the context of how you would try to work with a team to create a cod campaign worth playing in 2018.

Thats why some play games like normal cod, csgo and r6s, because in those games there is no rng, its all skill.

I know this is a little late but a thing to tell you is you can unlock characters from the past games by finding a specific item for each character....they each have challenges though

Black Ops 4 zombies is the most criminally underrated thing Treyarch ever made. Voyage of Despair, IX, Dead of the Night, Ancient Evil, Blood of the Dead and Tag der Toten are 6 of the most detailed and fun zombies experiences ever made.
In my opinion, I only really like the zombies. I feel like the maps are just excellent and hard to play but that makes it better. It makes you WANT to get better and get to a higher round or complete the easter egg. The multiplayer and Blackout is alright, but I love zombies and have been playing it for years, since Black Ops 1 even.
Why don’t rocket launchers either be 1 shots or actually have splash damage?????????

What's wrong with it. Genuine question. For a bit it was bad with the op guns in the loot crates. But they added the advanced loot crate (or whatever its called) that you could get for 50 loot crates, meaning you could pick any gun you want. It is stupid that they exist I the first place. But not as bad as it could be, and honestly I liked it, It added a goal to the game, a reason to grind with a legit reward at the end (a new gun).
I love the captions lil secret messages, I was so sad when they stopped halfway through the vid
