Hope you have better luck with it than I did. Hypothetically, I should have liked it better than I did, but at the time, several of the characters kind of annoyed me, and when a certain plot development made me realize that Robinson would likely be including many of them throughout the entire trilogy, I noped out. I don't think it's a "hard" DNF though. I'd like to give it another chance in better circumstances.
😂 "I noted out". Well I definitely hope I like it at least enough to not want to quit! But if been told by someone who shares my taste in SF that is good, so I'll probably like it!
Love this - intrigued to see what you think of these books. They've been on my radar but haven't got to them. I am concentrating as much as I can on Tchaikovsky in September so can't join in but I'm looking forward to the livestreams or videos that come out of it.
