I’m just now getting very interested in rail cycling, and the concept of new adventures via this brilliant idea. Most welcome. What you build depends on where you want to ride. That's why you are most likely seeing many different designs out there. Some tracks are chock full of weeds and even trees. Others have physical impediments that will derail the best designed bikes. Challenging to say the least, and an indication that your design efforts are never finished :)) Enjoy the ride!
