A much cheaper alternative is to just go to the casino on a max luck day with a lucky lunch. It's easy, albeit time consuming, to just farm Qi coins and buy infinite farm warp totems. If you're playing with the Stardew Valley Expanded mod, you can buy an Aged Blue Moon Wine from Sophie for 28k which counts as a drink buff of +7 Luck to stack with the Lucky Lunch. This much extra luck makes it so now every spin is a guaranteed win of some kind, massively cutting down the irl time you need to spend spinning the slots.

Not a specific item, but putting indicators outside of my crystallarium- and kegsheds has been suuuch a quality of life improvement - no need to go inside to check every shed = much better day. Keeping track of how many days all that ancient fruit has been brewing or doing the math in your head based on the farm computer is too much of a bother too. Just plop a keg or whatever right next to each shed and use it exactly like the ones inside - neat, effective and effortless.
I absolutely LOVE the special orders board - not only is there a hefty gold reward but those awesome crafting recipes?? Fiber seeds are my FAVOURITE, it's so satisfying to sythe it all and collect them. The little bubbly noise when you pick items up going brrr is just so fun!!!!
I needed a horse so much, so used the hardwood I was saving for Willy’s boat when I finished the 2 bundles I needed on the stable! The horse is game changing! I also grinded the volcano mine to get the hot Java ring, and I can have permanent speed boosts.
I play on mobile and used the horse enough to know I didn't want one because I couldn't master hopping on/off to get foragables easily. I wonder if it is really worth it on mobile.
tips from a player (yes i use these all) if you need many mayo machines, drop an earth crystal in a crytalarium and every day you get an earth crystal by god, purchase honey from the oasis on fridays if you need use of some kegs. process the honey into mead (abt one day) and age it to iridium (only one season) and you have a 200% ROI right there. this does work best with a shitton of kegs though. early game- plant mixed seeds and save a couple of the different kinds of crops from them, then when you get some seedmakers, make seeds. only make a couple of seedmakers for near your planting area, i would recommend 2-4. after harvesting, place one of each crop in each seedmaker and sell the rest of the crops. this’ll help ppl if they’re in the “what if that isn’t enough” part with the crops so they just waste space on farmland for seeds making (calling myself out) the quarry and desert are both free real estate, take advantage of them. i personally used the desert for tapping and hardwood woodchipping (moved that to the farm) and the quarry was for kegs (ginger island) crystalariums (farm now) and the rocks that spawn. check the wiki for villager walkpaths for the desert. sheds are also free real estate for processing, i use a big shed for roe, egg, milk, wool, and charcoal kiln processing. keep chests of things you use where you use them. ex. all your keg processing backlog near your kegs. its a shame going back home because you forgot the items you needed to bring. incubate your first dino egg. you can donate your next one to gunther, make it easier to befrend the dwarf and romance penny and make a relative killing on mayo. same goes for void eggs for the same reasons but replace dwarf and penny with krobus and sebastion if you have a squires helm (or any hat for that matter) and sea urchin to spare, put the sea urchin in a fish tank and put the hat on the sea urchin. bonus points if the urchin looks fricking dapper. keep a sturgeon fish pond. caviar sells for way more than regular aged roe. on the topic of fish ponds, i strongly recommend a lava eel pond for the spicy eel, gold ore, and magma geode drops. stingrays are a good pond option too, battery packs and cinder shards are cool to get passively if a plant has died, use your scythe, not your (pick)axe. you’ll save much-needed energy. worm bins are op. if you have a bait-equippable rod, or have crab pots without the no-bait profession, bait is almost mandatory. by god, go to every day of the night market with fishing-enhancing items. go to the submarine ride once done with everything else and fish till 2 am. befriend your animals. big milk (cow and goat) makes insta-gold cheese and aging that to iridium is only a week (no time difference between either cheese) rabbits are op in the coop. they drop an item loved by everyone but penny and if you befriend it the loved item could be iridium quality. farm computers are awesome. they tell you if most machines (including crab pots) are ready, how much hay you have, how many crops you have, how many are ready both outside and in the greenhouse, how many outside plants are watered, how much outside open tilled soil you have, and if the farm cave is ready. edited to add some various info and change something that i have changed for consistency.

These are also mods, but I seriously cannot live without UI Info Suite and Lookup Anything. They save me so many wiki trips, are super friendly to my ADHD, and finally give me that extra information I wished the game would give in vanilla.
It's always a treat to wake up to a new video about stardew valley. I think I spend more time binge watching video about stardew valley then I do actually playing stardew valley lol its just so much fun to learn about everything while I'm cooking, cleaning, etc. One day you should consider making videos about the villagers and marriage candidates and their personalities & back stories. I play on switch these days and i really miss harvesting with the scythe, honestly when i heard about the gold scythe i thought that’s what it would do, and when i heard about enchanting i once again expected a harvesting enchant

within the PC version the best things I need in it is the CJB cheat menu / item spawn and tractor mod also SDV expanded too They add so much to the game though I think for console versions there should be a " cheat " menu that unlocks after certain goals are done For example at Farming lv 10 you should be able to harvest with the scythe ( example on the switch version with 400 cranberry crops takes me about 3-4 min to harvest all of them ) and by using the Scythe I'd get it done quickly Then with 4 candles should " automate " things like with how it works on PC yes it's " game breaking " but I think it would make things far more efficient for console and more enjoyable
I get what you mean by sprinklers are very helpful. But I am currently on year 5 and have only made 1 NORMAL sprinkler, plus I barely enter the mines to make more anyways
With ginger island and the introduction of tiger slime eggs I've converted the quarry into a tiger slime farm. Main breeders 2 male and three female to prevent accidentally culling the whole stock. Then I have two grow out groups fenced into separate enclosures. When one gets crammed I go in on a high luck day stuffing myself with all the luck I can and harvest any and all tiger slime eggs I can.

You can use mods on mobile if you're using Android instead of iOS. My first playthrough is full of automation mods like Automate, Autofish, speed mods, scythe harvesting, etc.. I don't do that anymore anymore with my current save file, I now use only expansion mods like custom NPC, dialogue, Ridgeside Village, etc. I bought PC version too but I rarely played it as I have no time playing PC game much, I haven't finished community bundled yet on PC.. 😂
The only thing i did on the wiki was add the categories of trellis multi seasonal and giant crops incase people want to find what crops do what and incase they want to see long lasting crops
When I first started playing, I loved the game, but when I experimented an automation mod I could never go back. So useful and lets me explore more of the game

@@SallyWooten First you need to upgrade your axe - takes money and iron. And after that - still takes another week... and you have to go out of your way for it. Growing mahogany trees is easier but also takes a while, and you need to get seeds first.
No you can't duplicate that, you can however get a fish pond with desert scorpians that will 5% of the time give you one, so its a slow but reliable source of them
It's one of the enchantments you can put on your watering can at the Volcano Forge using a prismatic shard: one is Bottomless (never have to refill) and the other is Reaching, which extends the area of effect to 5X5 tiles. (unfortunately, you can only have one enchantment at a time on each of your tools) Check the journal scraps you find on Ginger Island, one will give you info on all of the possible enchantments available at the Forge.

Sometimes a regular tree without a tapper on it will turn into one (the Wiki goes into more detail) but you can also buy mushroom tree seeds from Mr. Qi once you get to that point.
I play Stardew valley on Chromebook book it literally impossible to use a slingshot if you can't even aim it and if you do you use more then one ammo it so terrible please tell me how to use it to make my Stardew valley life easier

It´s much easier since the last update. With mahagoni seeds and tree fertilizer 100 are not that much anymore then just with tree stumps.
