The rabits foot increasing luck misconception is because when u have max hearts with all the bachelors or bachelorettes at the same time there's a cut scene where they're all together and having a rabits foot determines if they get mad at you or laugh it off
I thought you had to be dating all of them, not just have max hearts
@@angryfaceemoji123 I think you need ten hearts with all of them to trigger the cutscene
@@queenofrats1454 i see
@@angryfaceemoji123 I'm pretty sure the only way to get to max hearts with the bachelor(ette)s is to give them a bouquet, otherwise you can't go past 8
@@queenofrats1454 and have to see everybody 10 heart cutscene first
It’s actually possible to save the Qi fruit by selling them to Pierre and then buying them back after the quest ends
You are a lifesaver ily
*W O A H*
That’s ingenious, I will have to remember to do that.
But sadly that requires interacting with pierre lol
Came here to share this info too. Thanks for looking out!
You can max friendship with your pet before evaluation by petting them every day and never bothering to fill their bowl. Let them drink rainwater. Plus, the cat is usually on the bed at the end of the day, making it really easy to just ignore them most of the time and only pet them when you go to bed.
Petting is the most annoying mechanic in the game.
The botanist profession makes everything you pick up iridium quality: Ground coconuts and cactus in the desert, berries from bushes (which increased in number when you hit level 4 anyway), seasonal forage, fiddlehead ferns, mushrooms in dungeons... Not coconuts from trees, though.
But importantly: Fruit from the fruit bat cave. But not mushrooms from the mushroom cave.
Nope, the most important one here is the seasonal forages. Planting all your winter seeds with some sort of speed gro will allow 4 harvests at least during the winter, and you can turn them back into seeds each time to make more and more of the forageables. By the time Spring rolls around you can have a lot of crystal fruit which is excellent for using in the mines.
@@mage1439 Nope the most important one is TRUFFLES
@@helpmycatiseatingme84 Yeah, truffles are cool (very annoying, though, as when you have a lot of pigs they pop one up every time you collect one) but having more than 2 or 3 pigs that are grown in time to collect any before the first winter is tough.
Honestly I don't mind whatever it affects, I just don't want the other qualities taking up stack space! I'd probably take a curse to make all of those items normal quality haha.
@@Anolaana Well... There *is* a mod for that...
I avoided beach farm because of the sprinklers, but it's AMAZING. It's the largest map and the 200-tiles that take sprinklers is plenty of room. A fully upgraded watering can gets the sandy areas taken care of quickly, and it keeps me more connected for farming in endgame. Honestly it's such a pretty farm, I'm so glad I finally tried it. I think it's actually beginner-friendly because of all the hardwood stumps and freebies in the supply crates.
Once you sell your excess Qi Fruit to Pierre and buy them back, what's even better is to make Qi Seeds out of the fruit in Seed Makers. The next time you get the quest, you can grow more excess and use the fruit to make more seeds, etc, and eventually store them by the hundreds. In the future, you can fulfill the quest again and again simply by planting 500 seeds, growing them in 4 days, and shipping them off. Nice way to get more Qi Gems!
Hang on, how do you store them (Qi Beans)? When I stored the Qi beans, they just vanished from my chest???
@@platinumare The day you finish the quest, you visit Pierre first, and sell him all your excess Qi Fruit. *Then* you can ship your 500th Qi Fruit and end the quest.
The *next day* you visit Pierre again and buy back all the Qi Fruit he has remaining in his shop. It won't be the full amount you sold him, but it will be a healthy percentage. Now that the quest is complete, the game will not search to destroy Qi Fruit or Qi Beans when the day ends. You can make the Qi Fruit you bought back from Pierre into beans and keep them in a chest for use during a repeat quest.
Beware that when that second quest ends, it will destroy any Qi Beans you have set aside from the first quest; they will not carry over. So you want to use them during the second quest and grow them into fruits, and repeat the process with Pierre.
@@farmergiles1065 This is some IQ 1000 level stuff right here, thank you for sharing it!
@@JunkMale Thanks! My favorite Qi quest.
I think the beach farm is especially for beginners. I know when I first started playing it took me until like year 2 to start using sprinklers because I was so bad at the mines and couldn't get the materials lol
im stuck at mine level 80 -90 😭😭
i keep dying
@@UltraInstinct509 craft staircases to skip floors
@@Queen_Homu or trying to open the boundary.
@@UltraInstinct509 Go in with a lot of food so you can heal on the fly. Sashimi (from fish, setting up some crab pots is the most consistent, requires upgrading your house once to cook and getting Linus to over 3 hearts for the recipe) or your cave stuff (mushrooms > fruit) are the most consistent choices, otherwise use the fish/crops you have or buy food from the saloon. Also only go in on good/very good luck days, neutral and below only if there's really nothing else to do, bad/very bad luck days are generally better spent doing other stuff, like chopping trees or fishing.
Also your gear just may not be up to snuff if you've been very unlucky with drops, especially if you're on PC and took the randomised mine rewards option. If you're playing normal rewards you'd at least have the firewalker boots and a weapon, if you kept to swords then you may only have the steel sword back from the earth stage. Regardless, if things take more than 5 hits to down you might have to pay the adventurer's guild a visit and fork out some money.
Otherwise, as the saying goes, practice makes perfect. Staircases, eh. 99 stone is a somewhat big ask. I'd agree with taking a few of them to skip infested levels but general levels nope.
@@UltraInstinct509 I suggest going in with common mushrooms if you have the mushroom cave, or life elixer.
I stopped playing a few months, but this video made me want to start a new farm.
haha same!
i start a new farm every other time i watch her 🤦🏻♀️
plz tell me why you have sprinklers with your kegs, I don't understand and I can't stop thinking about it
THE ENEMIES ARE UNAFFECTED BY LUCK? mind-blowing, I was sure it was true 😭😭
I also thought it was true for the longest time!
Fruit bat cave is 100% better. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use life elixers, plus you get a mushroom cave on ginger island. The fruit also sells for more and you can use it early game for the community centre.
The mushrooms sell better
@@dorianl3788 eh, im on year 6 and i have 12 million, money isn't really an issue
@@electricanimations6183 I think what he means is that Mushrooms are a better steady source of income in the early game, unlike the fruits from the bats. Mushrooms are a guaranteed steady income of minimum 240+ gold per day, while bats are wildly inconsistent, and 99% of time give fruit worth less than 240g per day. Besides the already 50% chance of no fruit spawning in the first place, only 20% of the fruit spawned are possible community center items.
You also can naturally complete up to 7 of the required items just by preparing properly for the other bundles, or from their rewards. So overall, for the start of the game, the extra money is better than the slightly earlier keg you get from completing the artisan bundle with lucky fruit.
Once the farm (fruit) cave has ran out of its usefulness for the cc bundles, it can be repurposed to anything
I picked mushroom cave (noob me) but late game I put some crystalariums inside to dupe some rubies for spicy eel. Had I picked fruit cave it will be much better.
@@l0remipsum991 exactly
I just subbed today. Watchin your tips and tricks videos inspired me to start a new farm. My goals are to get the scarecrow deluxe by collecting all the "vanity" ones and to beat the Praire King game without dying for the uber achievement! Thank you for all you do!
Did you beat it yet? This has been my last trophy for a couple years now. Not only is it difficult but the game is borderline torture. If it was actually fun I wouldn't mind the difficulty.
Ok all those cats and dogs at the start of the video was really cute.
Thank you for the uploads. They are valuable information and answered many questions I had. Not the water bomb though, that was new to me.
Fun fact: even the Wiki says Wizard and Linus are friends
You can actually also find rare seeds in the skull caverns on the Dino/prehistoric floors, by destroying the plants.
I never get rare seeds or any seeds from destroying the plants there
@@crystalkennedy7435 it's not 100% but I found alrdy over 20 seeds like that.
Ancient seeds you mean.
Counter argument for botanist: it’s the level 10 upgrade for the forager perk which lets you have a chance to get double pickups which includes truffles which is insane especially with a lot of pigs so when you get to level 10 botanist is leagues better than tracker and works for all foragables
Played Stardew when Ms. Lily was at 50K. Glad to see the subs has doubled ever since!~
i use the chicken statue to assert dominance
I actually did believe the myth that the shipping bin produced less, so for my first playthrough, I sold to Pierre directly. ...Made it hard when I was desperate for money, but it was a Wednesday...
Lily still running with the chicken statue joke lol
Did you know that if you die, you can get one item back by talking to Marlon then you can get the item back for a little gold.
I think that chicken statue makes your chicks happier and ypu can faster get them friendly to you.
Idk if it affects thw egg production
Your beach farm looks so great!
Thanks for this video! At least I know what's a myth and what's not now, it will probably help me a lot in the game!
I made a huge mistake in Staredew.
A year~ ago I saw a comment that went
"There's a bug in the winter festival at the beach. If you have any chests or crab pots Remove them from the beach or the game will delete them.
I'm on mobile so it may be patched on PC."
I'm on Ps4 1.5 so thought nothing of it.
In my 3rd playthrough collected materials for 6 worm bins, 21 crab pots and 9 recycling machines.
Come winter festival,
I go to the beach to tend to my fishing empire, to my disbelief,
EVERYTHING IS GONE.
I remember the comment
I spent so much time collecting all the materials, 300 fiber, 150 Hardwood :(
Did you check the day after the event?
Because on the event everything will disappear. It is not a glitch. They will show up the day after the event
This has happened to me as well. However if u put crab pots and chests on east side of the beach, around the docks, winter festival will not delete them.
I don't know for the others but crab pots come back after the night market event- this always happens to me and I just wait for it to end and then i have my crab pots back
@@Nawaf- I'll check tomorrow if that's that's the case.
@@Nawaf- It worked!
My crab pots are back. :)
I love your vids keep up the great videos
The bat cave is the best choice by far. The common and (rare) purple mushrooms as well as the chanterelles can be used for energy, a major limiter in the beginning of the game, and are more consistent than the fruit cave. The real win though is when you get seed machines. Convert the common mushrooms to fall seeds via the seed machine, get Caroline to 2 hearts and do her 2 heart event to get the tea sapling recipe, convert wild (ie spring, summer or fall) seeds, fiber and wood to tea saplings, sell tea saplings for 500g each.
For that reason you should also try not to sell forargeables until either near the egg festival (to get as many strawberry seeds as you can get your mitts on) or end of the season, as you can convert leek, horseradish, dandelions and daffodils (1 of each) to spring seeds (10, ie 5 tea saplings), which you can then plant to get more forageables (same deal with the winter and summer forageables, and in winter, growing winter seeds and doing the same thing is one of the two uses for farmland, the other of course being fiber plants) which you can then funnel also into making tea saplings. As you can start doing this in spring/summer year 1 it sets you up real well. With the money coming in you also can afford an apple and pomegranate tree late spring/early summer, so you can still get the greenhouse first year and if you put the excess fruit into kegs or preserves jars the trees will make a profit even without artisan.
Based on the rest of what you wrote, I think you mean the mushroom cave is the best? The bat cave is the choice that gives you fruits, because they're fruit bats.
I love your content and your accent!!!
1:15 pick the fruitbat cave for iridium tree fruits. That cave is the only way to get tree fruit that is a higher quality than normal. It also doesn't have the spawning restriction the mushroom cave has. Every tile can spawn a fruit and they don't go anywhere so you can just let them gather over time.
7:24 the beach farm is likely one of the easiest farms due to the containers that wash up. You can get deluxe retaining soil from those to offset the lack of sprinklers.
5:10 I didn't know about this myth/ bug. I just went to the slots on lucky days with my luck items on and food in me to win way more than I lose. I can confirm this does work. I made about 1 mill G from only playing the slots via a turbo switch controller. I traded the slot points in for farm warp totems and sold or dismantled them to sell. Dismantling gives honey that sells for more than the raw totem, but it needs Qi's room and a dismantler and it isn't an instant conversion process, so I mostly sell the totems. Time is frozen while at the slots, so you could technically get infinite money from them.
The first tip is incorrect because after they've finished growing they continue to mature. Every year they increase in quality, so after 3 years they'll drop iridium quality fruit.
@@jacksonpercy8044 Exactly! :D
I remember when I got the “[pet name] loves you” message for the first time. I named my dog after my dead childhood dog, and when I read that I cried
Haven't tested it myself, but I've heard you can place sprinklers on the beach farm if you put them on a path tile. If true then the farm's biggest downside isn't a big deal at all.
It doesn't work.
Beach farm is good and easier for taking joja route, just fish all day and get tons of fish, don't forget to buy some crab pot to get extra money from crabs or trash (from recycling)
6:59 The other day I FINALLY, SOMEHOW, caught a purple star legendary fish w/ only the barbed hook. I was BAFFLED. 🤣 After coming across probably 200 of them, & not even getting my bar halfway filled, I finally got one. 🤣 I was literally jumping up & down & yelling, “YES! YES I DID IT! F*** YEAH!”
i put my chicken statue in my coop for decor, but it doesnt do anything :)
I’ve only ever used the mushroom cave and it’s not as good as the fruit bat cave my brother has the fruit bat cave but with the mushroom one you have to harvest daily or none for you it’s awful when you faint from skull caverns and don’t have the time to get the mushies but the fruit bat cave you could sleep until year 2 and you wouldn’t lose any fruit it’ll just stay there in the cave I recommend the bat cave
You were at 60k when i subbed now its doubles :D
Nice, Thanks for the video 🌹
I don't know about that iridium fish one. I'm new to stardew valley but when I got the mutant carp it was iridium quality. I used the iridium rod and the cork tackle. So it definitely is possible.
I played Stardew Valley yesterday and I found a quest were I need to bring a Diamond to Evelyn and the reward came in handy coz the reward was 2500 G and then I had only 18 G. Woah what a luck that was
The ancient seed is true you can get it by smashing those bugs but the travelling merchant sell one ancient seed if your lucky i got one in my first year from traveling merchant
Artisan perk is still better imo because, yknow, ancient fruit wine and starfruit wine
I got the owl statue last year on a save for 3 farm years
blade pranked haboo with the water bomb trick
i never water my pet lol just pet them and it still gets me max friendship with them!
0:18 dint know i had to stop then..
I think the rabbit statue makes the witch not turn the chicken dark
What are the chances of ancient fruit spawning from the seed maker? Cus I was putting starfruit in the seed maker and when I checked I had an ancient fruit seed.
shane look like itachi
I only heard about the chicken statue from you, so I was hoping you'd reveal if you were kidding or not.
is a joke
I bought a packet of ancient fruit seeds for 140g from the travelling cart today
What if the predictor can’t find any prismatic shards in my future :’(
Huh i ones got a prismatic shard from a omni geod
At 4:32 please tell me what are those sparkles near the secret woods?
Some mod I'd guess.
I've never gotten ancient seeds from bugs, I've only ever gotten them from treasure troves in my 3 save files. Am I just that unlucky?
Nobody is going to believe this, but I got a stone owl on the 4th day of my first play through.

Kinda got confused because everything was a myth
I heard once upon a time that slashing crystals in the mine would drop quartz. I have never had this happen to me...is it a myth?
Yes sometimes drop refined quartz bars. Not very often, but it does happen.
I had never heard this and was actually really thrown off when just last night I got refined quartz from a crystal haha. It also says on the wiki page for refined quartz that this happens "very rarely". That's vague lol, but it's a thing.
This is true - it happened to me after I ate a lucky lunch
The last one which is the chicken statue is not true me and my sister have one in are chicken house and they produce eggs normally so new player don't believe the chicken statue!
Her sas at the start ✌️
Alright, hear me out, bat cave sucks. I have waited an in-game year to get ONE more apple for the cc, and I still have not got it. I just had to buy a fruit tree, because the bat cave was taking so long. All it gives me are spice berries!
I got two in 1st year.
I’m almost through my year 2 and still haven’t seen a pomegranate in their. I have the tree, but I’m glad I didn’t hold my breath lol

Ojalá entender inglés jajaja
Hellooooo
Myth 1: a pond full of lava ell (10 fish in the pond) there's a chance that it will produce 5 spice ell or 2-3 lava ell roe when the pond is full of 10 lava ell
Myth 2: idk is it a glitch or not that is but here we go: at friday go to Crobus and then one iridium sprinkler after that you can't buy more right? There's this thing after you buy it then click on Crobus again then he will restore it like it was nothing was a problem
Myth 1: its literally on the wiki(and the wiki is right here)
Myth 2: patched out

Both are bad: Woke

No
I really dislike Linus. He constantly moans about how abusive people are to him, yet he's the one that always avoids others. He says someone was throwing stuff at his tent. Who? Who here can name one person in the game that would do that?
Pelican town isn’t isolated from the rest of stardew valley, which you can clearly tell by the fact that tourists come to fair event. Just because you don’t see randos going around doesnt mean they don’t exist in-universe, it just wouldn’t make sense for CE to program them in 🤷♀️
@@vivishii_ Of course. And there would realistically be more people in Pelican Town itself. But I don't think there's really any argument that the ones we see are supposed to be representative of the whole population. This whole "there are awful people here but they don't appear in the game" doesn't work. That's exactly the kind of character that SHOULD be in the game.
So, unless the person Linus was talking about was Morris, then no. He is, in my opinion, a victim-complex liar.
