14th Do: Play the game how you want, that's all that matters, learn from your mistakes, learn from wikis, then make your own plan to how you wanna play
Nothing wrong getting useful tips from random people, right?
@@jellyhaze699 Nope nothing wrong with that at all
This video is strangely aggressive.
Thats not the video. That's mgaud
Just like all his videos
I think you should be able to choose your birthday and have a festival on that day where everyone in pelican town gives you a gift. 😊
That's such a great idea 😮😊
@@katiesmith-di3mr Thanks. I thought of it myself.
You should get in touch with the developer somehow that is a great idea!!!😲🙌🤯
I think we should all tell Concerned Ape (aka: Eric Borone) that we want this for the 1.6 update! He can't say no if enough of us request it.
@conernedape
I get that you can get tons more iridium by staying in skull cavern until you pass out. On the other hand, the personal sense of shame from losing a pass-out-less run is much, much worse.
Yeah, I have the return sceptre, so I just teleport out around 1:30 AM. Win win for me.
I consider passing out at 2am as a part of the skull cavern hahaha
As I have optimize my play, it is impossible for me to not pass out. I always pass out on early day of game as I know that I lose nothing as I have 0 gold and I'll level up my profession so I'll wake up full energy regardless.
It's not hard to avoid passing out. In an already easy game, that's an incredibly low bar for a type of challenge run.
@@bigquazz3955 I don't view it as a challenge run. It's just a personal rule I follow.
“As we know, rabbits will chop off their feet and give them to you.” 💀💀💀
Additionally, if you want to use your tools while they are being upgraded, you can add a friend to your farm, have them put their tools in a chest and then use those until you get your tools back. Especially useful for watering cans.
My friend is an Xbox 360 controller, what about your friend?
Do bring your pickaxe with you to the skull caverns because soentimes you enter a layer where you're surrounde by rocks and no where to place bombs. You'll need to clear one tile to place the bomb.
Jeez, this video sounds so intense. 😅 I'm sitting here nodding at my screen like "uh huh... Yes sir... I'm sorry I'm bad at stardew... I didn't mean to ignore tree fertilizer! Oh god what have I done??" 😂
"Dont upgrade watering can"
*Use sprinkler, dude*
Unless you’re on the beach farm where you can’t use sprinklers on the sand.
@@DarkMirria1 Yes, I have beach farm and it is so irritating.
@@kirtipriya12 I use it to challenge myself. Upgrading my watering can is my first priority on the Beach Farm.
@@DarkMirria1 Actually, I selected the beach farm because I love both the sound of the waves and fishing. The crates that you get are so useful too. Also, upgrading the water can is my plan too.
@@kirtipriya12 The crates are great.
I also mainly chose the Beach Farm because it just overall looks appealing.
I like to pretend I’m living on a island. It gives me flashbacks of when I played through Harvest Moon Island of Happiness.
I have a whole barn with just sheep and i love them bc they keep me fashionable.
Rabbits are better cause they give wool and rabbits feet
@@HenrayPatter yeah but the wool that they drop is by % and not by days. Thats why i think sheep are more reliable for wool.
Grass starters can be planted in winter and if they are placed on winter 28 and remain until spring 1 they should have a 5x effect than normally placing on the last day of a season.
slingshots are so tricky to use on console, it makes me sad. so i run around with stacks of bombs instead. wish it was easier to use the slingshot though. feels like playing on PC has a ton of speed advantages because of the use of a mouse :(
thats true for ALOT of games sadly.
I personally hate the PC controls for this game versus console. I was excited to have it on both until I tried doing anything on my farm, took way longer to do a simple task like clearing grass.
PC is superior that's why.
With 1.6 the Bug to Double the Goede Output is removed and you don't need coal anymore.
You can also convert 1 jade into 99 stone using deconstructors
I use this
Fantastic suggestion. Tysm
dont: stalk gus for 2 years hopeing he will go on vacation to get the final cooking recipe>
do: shut down the island resort and re-open it...
? why
Internet points? And here I was playing for fun.
did u know? if you hold shift while you craft, buy o pick items from chests, you can pick a bigger amount, instead of holding right click (just like minecraft when you pick a half stack) you can buy 5 seeds by every click while holding shift and you can pick a half stack of items in your chests
Actually geode crushers are more time efficient as not only do you save a lot of time and effort of lugging a full inventory of artifacts from Clint’s to your chests you also save bunch of time. One coal is the equivalent of 10 wood if I were to use charcoal kilns. I can convert 1 hardwood into 5-10 regular wood with the wood chipper (96% chance) or 15-20 wood (2% chance).
4:20 a reason why u should use sprinklers
For the watering can one i always make rain totems and just have it rain for those days without it...
There is a birthday that is kinda of a pain to gift, the wizard sharing a birthday with the night market rotation, you probably don’t have an iridium quality loved gift ready by the time his tower closes for the day.
Always remember to gift the wizard on his birthday BEFORE you go to the night market. Speaking from experience...he is not there!
one may sneak into the wizard's home after hours via the warp from witches hut
I do not care for sheep either, yeah, though in addition to pigs and ostriches, goats are also pretty worthwhile in their own way.
Don't turn your dino eggs into mayo. Find the treasure appraisal guide and make 2,100 g instead
i can't deal with the urgent delivery of their voice clashed with the cozy and peaceful atmosphere of the game lol
5:30 I only play on coop and my half of the farm always becomes a factory farm of coops and barns with a few crops to put in the keg, then my friends half is always made to look pretty.
I love the slingshot for the skull cavern, completely changed the game
And now the geode crusher doesn’t need coal to work at all.
7:57 well that horrified me 💀
(I didn't know you could do that)
I get my iridium ore from 350 Statues of Perfection that I scammed Grandpa out of :) They usually give me between 1,500 and 2,000 iridium ores per day. I put them all in the Quarry so they are out of the way :)
I can dupe in emily's house but i can only dupe items that can be use as colors
I have seen someone who farm is like hundreds of coops (they have made 8 billion gold made without mods) post perfection spoilers
All animals are golden chickens
mGaud is the friend you need in life!
Nope..you pick the skill to get more wood and hardwood in early game. Once you have used the qood ypu needed then switch to the botanist one.
Ty😊
he sounds like edna mode
Everyone have a birthday except of you!
Oh god am I even alive?!
I get fucking jump scared by oblivion music each time I hear it in an unexpected place but fuuucckkk is it the fastest way to win my loyalty
A billionty thanks ! You're the literal rabbit in my chicken coop.
what's the background music that starts at 4:20?
420 lol
I put my water can in a chest and forgot about it. There are sprinklers lol
Okay but the slingshot on the Switch is so bad 😩
Omg thank you. So difficult
So true my guy
I'm starting to get the hang of it! Just take practice.
You can change it in the settings if you want
I mean, I need iridium to craft crystalium
6:25 why is ur cat named Sasuke LOL
Bro is Naruto fan 🤣
Nothing wrong with that
Its actually a really cool looking name if its not a human character
I Love You mgaud💚
Sheep are actually more profitable then ostriches
Considering they cost 8,000g each, and their produce makes slightly less than that of an ostrich which cost nothing but time. I would say ostriches are much more profitable, but I would love to hear why you think the opposite!
@@izheanfruitwith shepherd sheep produce wool daily and with max friendship and mood you would be getting iridium quality wool that produce 1.5 cloth in a loom would be 854 g/d (rancher prices) vs 10 iridium Mayo with artisan that’s 760 g/d but shepherd also has a hidden buff so you are more likely to get iridium quality wool then ostrich egg
987 g/d with professions switching
@@zaineoakley5555 Oooo I wasn't aware of this. Although I agree in a vacuum, that sheep would be more profitable. You have so many other uses for artisan instead, such as, for pigs making truffle oil or making wine and potentially honey if you're on that train. Profession swapping in my opinion is way overvalued because it is still 10,000g everytime you do it which definitely adds up over time. And in the vacuum that was discussed, sheep still require an initial 8,000g so it would still take longer for the sheep to pay out with a minimal 100g profit margin.
DO get SDVexpanded and enjoy the wonderful modding community 😊❤
"DO exploit the game mechanics"
.
Gus: "hi! [279][645][915], for the 30th time, are you gonna order something?"
So sprinklers and never upgrade the watering can
Here’s a tip: you can sell stardrops
They sell for the most (without mods) for 7777g too!!
@@proftreeumm tiger slime eggs sell for more
How do you sell stardrops, you character eats it before you can do anything.
@@platinumare item Id glich
@@platinumare same way you sell your ancient fruit wine
Idk when but geode crusher isn't asking for coal for me
Hey concenape can we have bday too??
I downloaded the this game but I don't understand anything
Lol “gifts, recipes, etcetera”
Nicee
HOW MANY PROFESSIONS CAN YOU HAVE? OR BE?
I thought you lost random selection of items when you passed out in mines??
4:00 i dont care about foragables u cant make a house or kegs out of them wood is way better
You suggest putting fences on the grass but do not do this by yourself. why?
i just wanna play it for fun lol
Same. A prefect gameplay through do's and don'ts isn't that fun.
Next update, maybe?
DO play the game how you want to play it and enjoy 😊
Fishing may be profitable, but it also adds stress to a game I play to relax, so that’s a no-go for me.
1:47 scary voice
Iridium truffles sell for less than truffle oil if you have Artisan, so the advice about the foraging upgrades makes no sense. Hardwood is a way more valuable resource than purple leeks etc.
Now I'm not a huge "min-maxer" in this game, but if you have a ton of pigs there's probably merit in the foraging perks because that would be a LOT of trufles, and oil machines cost resources to craft too at 20 hardwood each. Can get pretty expensive material wise as opposed to just getting a stack of purple truffles (since a lot will be doubled) to sell without hassle.
If you only have a few pigs though then yeah it's probably not worth it.
@@ninjasuikai if you use the other perk and do a little bit of desert farming you can get hundreds of hardwood tbh. That's what makes it good, you get hardwood on basically every tree.
Once I've got a stable for my horse and have upgraded my house, I don't have much use for hardwood. So while I like to go with the additional wood and hardwood early game, I usually switch a couple years into the game. The nicest thing about iridium forage is that it stacks more easily.
@@slwrabbits fair enough. I tend to make a lot of hoppers and other farm stuff that needs hardwood.
1:32 PENNY WHY DID YOU STEAL MY HUSBAND
I was charged 10,000 for passing out

Dews and Dewnots
There is no right or wrong thing to do
I didn't know Davie504 played Stardew Valley...
I used cheat engine to freeze gold value, why should i then dont buy 99999999999999 stones and turn them in staircases? XDDDDDDDDD
First..
Honestly, tired of watching these dos and donts type of videos for this game. Honestly I’m having more fun after I realized that I can play this game however TF I want to. So listening to this guy is like nails on a chalkboard. I’m out. “Do Do this… “”DON’T EVER DO THIS….”… “DON’T YOU DARE DO IT” Man, shut up. I’ll take my pickaxe wherever I want to, my guy..
Second Best stardew valley tip.(best one is advice to start mod the game)
Nobody forced you to click this video and you came into just complain.
Do you act the same way when you go to restaurants?
@@LaLongueFourchetteWell this is the comments section what do you think that meant? Restaurants have reviews and yes I would welcome anyone to complain how else you learn?
Okay yeah but i dont like clint
The way you’re narrating gives me anxiety and turns me off from the game
This makes a relaxing game stressfull. That game wants you to play at your pace. This video wants you to do the opposite
This is almost step by step the same as the other Dos and Donts video , I mean couldn’t you have at least switched up the order felt like I was watching the same exact video but in a guys voice .
