Thanks for all your tinyhawk stuff dude! You straight up got me into the hobby with your fkysky video- budget was an extreme limit for me. Thanks so much for all you do!
I love my tinyhawk 3 on 2s as its like you said so much less risk as you can crash it and know that it won’t break. Makes practice outdoors super fun and honestly my favorite quadcopter.
@@thatshoeguy8244don’t do this you’ll have to replace a motor every week. I replaced the frame for the mob7 v3 frame and used flywoo 15500 kv 1002 motors so that its 2s proof. Only then it can be recommended otherwise its just going to ruin your motors.
I just got one. The first thing I did is redo the rate profile. I have 1 rate profile that works great for both batteries. Upped the rates a lot from stock. It can do rolls and flips mad fast on either battery. Also did some other teaks. I only had to mess with rates, as the PID's are pretty locked in. Next, I raised the camera tilt... there is another notch in the cam hood for the angle. Makes for much more aggressive flying and I don't see the prop shroud any more. Then I pulled the vtx antenna out of the body through the top.. Much more fun... When I first tried flying it as it was, it was a dog..
Should one assume that it’s more difficult to fly with the 2s than the 1s? Or is it just a matter of applying “less”? Or.. if you flew the same way is it no more difficult, you’re just going faster?
Probably gonna get this one - so excited! Looks really fun. Is it possible to put maybe a Insta360 Go on it? Because in the end I want to get into fpv to take some nice videos too. I also could get the HOMfpv Wingsuit, this can definitely carry a camera, but I didn't see anyone doing loops and stuff with it, is it something different than this Tinyhawk S?
I think the newer tinyhawk versions may be more powerful, especially on 2S and could get away with a insta360 Go2 or runcam Thumb, but I doubt it would be good for flips and rolls like that. Haven't tried it, though.
hey question, I got the TinyHawk 3 with the Transporter 2 goggles, and while the video looks great while i'm flying. recording not so much. for some reason the recorded video is full of the video glitching and cutting out, but the live feed is clear as day. Did you need to do anything special with your setup to get it to record as clear as you are getting?
People have recommended this as more of an indoor quad as Xmax states. You're working it well outdoors though. What are your thoughts on 2S outdoors with wind? The TinyHawk Freestyle and Race might be a bit too high end for my entry level experience. I've only used tiny whoops indoors (non FPV).
Man you're a really good pilot! Im not sure if i should go for the emax tiny hawk or the tiny hawk 2?? I habe never flown fpv but I flew quite some cheap drones before. or should I go for the Eachine E013 plus?? Would be nice to get an answer
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response! Yes, I agree with John, go for the tinyhawk 2. I haven't flown it, but everyone seems to agree it's the best one! Oh and thank you very much! The TinyHawk is a smooth flyer for sure!
Also do you think if I got the TinyHawk S, I'd quickly get bored and end up getting the Freestyle or Race? Wondering if the Freestyle or Race might be too much quad for a newb.
Will you buy tinyhawk freestyle? Are you familiar with board of thinyhawk freestyle, I want to solder x6b rx to it, and I saw you video on doing that on tinyhawk s, is this board same as on tinyhawk s?
it's way too big and heavy man, if you want to put a receiver on it then you should consider the Fli14+ if you want Flysky, i use it on my trashcan and i can fly over 500 meters across my entire street wich are terraced housings ( high RF environment with maybe 50+ routers on its path, not 1 failsafe so far.
I am definitely interested in the tinyhawk freestyle. It seems like a great "stepped up" version of the tinyhawk S. However, I really want to get a micro of this size but with an HD camera (like the runcam split 3) and I'm not sure how easy it would be to integrate with this board style/shape. I hear the baords are identical for both quads. Yeah, x6b is pretty big. Go with fli14+ or RX2A Pro V2. I'm using the older version of the RX2A Pro and it has actually exceeded my expectations for range.
Hi there again. Quick question. I’ve just got this drone and I’ve been flying it indoor. I find it hard to control than flying drones in a simulator. I mean I’m not that good in simulator. But is it normal to struggle in flying a drone in real life? I keep crashing the drone to the wall and things.

THs is faster because it's a little bit lighter. TH2 has 25-200mw VTx, RunCam Nano 2, and an adjustable camera mount. IMO worth the extra $20 if you don't want to solder/build/custom stuff. There are pros/cons for both. Best would probs be a TH2 re-framed in an 's' chassis- or a custom-built TH flight control board with your preferred upgraded VTx/nano DVR/Camera combination installed from the jump-off... giving you the option to optimize your motors too.
