      nope! I did the mortgage thing 20 years ago! I’m good in mortgage payments and taxes! What’s the point of paying a 30 year mortgage and still have to pay taxes on the house? That’s a double mortgage in reality!

    • @realsupernaturalpowers
      @realsupernaturalpowers 28 дней назад

      There are Pros and Cons with everything. I don't ever want to rent ever again, I would downsize before I rent. Your landlord can sell your place and then what?? I rather have a mortgage where I have a longer time span to pay my mortgage before it's considered late versus relying on a landlord with their 5 day grace period vs my 15-30 days or longer. ESPECIALLY with how Everything is falling apart NOW Around Us, no way. I kept begging this sister years ago to buy her a house since she was renting because anything could happen, well it happened, her landlord gave her a notice that they were selling then changed his or her mind. I kept telling her that's a sign, you and your man need to consider a home (and she worked for the bank for years, I know, right) well long story short, a year later, the landlord sold their home, and she had to find a place to stay ASAP because the new owners were kicking her out. She was FRANTIC!!
      Been in my home over 3 years now. Got a great rate. Nothing transpired as planned concerning my woman and family moving in. I was initially purchasing a home for (my woman and immediate family) but my sister passed unexpectedly before she and my dad moved in, my dad passed a year later with me, and my ex didn't come back as planned after I moved into my new home ( I still have her things stored away from the other house) I HATE THAT MY Homeowner Insurance went up and how they can get away with it, like How you charging me something for Something I don't need WHEN MY HOME IS IN A NO EVACUATE ZONE!! So I quickly stopped complaining to myself and told God I trust him, he will take care of that extra 90 bucks a month and he did with my raise on my job. I'm now making almost twice what I was making when I was approved, I'm doing very good. Year after moving in, I got my equity out of my house and was considering buying the house down the street from me. Definitely not looking for a wife, a f**k buddy only needs to apply but NOT A WIFE because I'm too far along in my life and experiences and I'm at the age of NO BS from people who don't appreciate hard work or the fruits of another's labor. I'm also a loner so I don't like to be bothered. And now I pay my bills every 3 months for the whole year. The solar is a HUGE help! I actually get a check every year. That's cool. I walk around from one room to another and don't have to grab something to cover up after leaving the jacuzzi or shower. I actually have a solar smart pool home BUT Trust me when I say I AM NOT MATERIALISTIC. God wanted me to have what I have. I just started making myself buy me some new clothes. Seriously!! because my pants were all ripping off me. (LOL) Remember I was buying a home to please my family needs and wants but God had other plans and he gave me that home with No Competitors. WON'T HE DO IT!! I am happy, very humble and grateful and many times I cannot believe how I am living because I use to be homeless. I have no electric bill but because of how I am I find myself going around turning lights off (lol) Those few who had to come by my home were like Brother you should make music videos here, or they say this is like being in the movies, one Doctor visited my dad when he was living with me and I shared with him I was considering doing a home for other Veterans, the Doctor literally DANCED, Spinning around and shouted ARE YOU KIDDING ME, ARE YOU KIDDING ME, THIS IS PERFECT! Some delivery brothers when I answer the door and they see me answer it, they start laughing, I'm like I know right. Then we have the W*t People who try to make conversation to see if I am renting and they don't get an answer (LOL) and then we have more W*t People who think I AM ANSWERING SOMEONE ELSE'S Door and they are literally waiting on me to go get the Homeowner or the person they just got off the phone with. 🤣😂, Can't make this ***t up. But All Praise To The Most High God Alone!!

      I think i know why there is a lot of home buyer regret.
      When financial advisors suggest our debt to income (DTI) ratio be no greater than 28%, many new home buyers divide their monthly mortgage by their monthly gross income. In my opinion, it would make more sense for it to be the sum of all monthly bills divided by the monthly net income. For example:
      (mortgage+HOA+property tax+city tax+utilities (water/sewage/electric/trash)+car note+car insurance+gas+food) / (net monthly income)
      The regret part comes when after all the bills, there's very little left for savings, investments, entertainment, trips, eating out, buying clothes, toys, etc. And if the DTI ratio is close to 100%, then most likely, one will likely be living paycheck to paycheck.
      As a single male in his mid 40s (in the top 10% as salaries goes), I myself have been looking for a home since 2018 and haven't won any bids because I refuse my DTI ratio to be above 28%.

      I don't think a woman should be looking for a man unless that man is very serious about a relationship because I see so many black women that are pregnant or have a lot of kids and are single. I don't know if I am starting to think maybe black men don't want a wife I think they just want a girlfriend. You know what I am going to say, I think black men don't know what they want they do not believe in marriage. They will get a girl pregnant then leave them to take care of the child. This is why women don't waste time with them. I am a black woman and I am 38 years old single with no kids, but let's say if I get with a black man today he will make me like the rest of the black women's single parents. This is why I don't have kids because when they always ask me out I turn it down because I know that they don't want me.

    Renting is like taxation without representation. You live somewhere for 30 years, and get kicked out in three days if you are late on rent. Homeownership is worth it, whether a single man or not.
    Living in apartments stinks after a while, with the noise and the higher crime rates, with so many people packed together in such a small area.
    Maybe men in their early 20's think renting is great, but when you reach your 40's and 50's, you'd rather have a house, with or without a family to share it with. Besides, you never know when a family situation might develop, and you will already have a home to share it with someone.
