- So many people have asked me who's been my favorite movie stars to interview, and there are so many amazing actors out there, but I have to say that comedian Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover movies) is hands down the most refreshingly honest actor I have ever met.
Btw - I think "Birdman" from 2014 is one of my all time favorite movies.

I can see why you loved this interview. I love his honesty about Hollywood, and that it is embarrassing to be in an industry where people are always bragging about their work. What he said is so true. There are hardworking people everywhere: doctors, nurses, teachers, fire fighters, etc. But only the actors in Hollywood get together every year, multiple times, to give themselves awards just for doing their work. They get together regularly to just brag about themselves. I've never seen him before, but I love what he had to say. His kindness and honesty allowed you to ask really good questions. (Unlike that horrific other interview ...)

Birdman was such an amazing film. Haven’t seen it since it came out and I actually forgot Zach was in it. He does have some amazing dramatic acting skills. Love how this is a conversation more than an interview
This is the first time I see a thoughtful and sincere interview and not a shallow one. It feels more like a conversation than an interview. You guys clicked. I watched the whole thing without clicking forward and that's rare. It's nice to see there are still people like him left in this business.

Thank you, @Kjersti, what a refreshing experience. Zach is so underrated. What a contrast of an interview (compared to your recently shared nightmare), with someone who is clearly an introvert, who doesn't necessarily want to be there, talking, but he does it gracefully and politely, and engagingly, because it's part of his JOB. Makes me want to watch all his movies now, I mean... the less "famous" ones.

This was the interview that made me a fan of Kjersti. Also, when she interviewed Zach again for Keeping Up with the Joneses, he complimented Kjersti on her questions. Really made an impression on him.
Thank you. Yes, he did actually say that to me when I left the room, that he really enjoyed our conversation. Next time we met he remembered me which is rare in these types of settings. So happy you watched that interview too, a bit of a different vibe there. Very funny.
Zach is Greek, just like my husband. Friendly, honest, fun people. Greek family keeps them humble and grounded.
I love how you just let him talk whenever he interrupted you and asked thoughtful question, I could see at the end when it seems like he needed to go, that he stayed a bit longer to continue speaking with you because he was enjoying himself. When he said the part about those gossip magazine and enforcing behaviors where photographers are hiding behind a bush to take pictures of kids being wrong, I agreed 100%.
I was raised in NYC, we see celebrities all the time and were taught to leave them alone. Its one thing to give a polite smile or nod, but its rather rude to go interrupt them, especially when they are with their kids, they are just like us, the only difference is that their job is very public.
When he made a joke and winked I kind of fell alittle bit in love

Kjersti I have to tell you ...your voice sounds exactly like Paulina poriskovas...(just a side note) ...as for zach ...he may have a thing or two to say about my suggestion here...but can People magazine please vote him sexiest man alive...where are all these types of men hiding...what a great mind and humble sweet guy he is! Just wow!!...also supremely handsome if I can be so superficial!! Thankyou for putting him up as a positive example ....Hollywood is losing its magic as the illusions and smoke and mirrors are being unveiled...it needs to be run by creatives like zach not egomaniacs like blake and jlo......bravo for helping this embryo stage come along and doing your bit and applauding Zach!

It’s very rare that you find a good interviewer with good intentions and Blake lively had that chance for a good interview and she ruined it. This video is proof of that.
This is how an interview with entertainers should be. Not the clowns that feel entitled to belittle and get offended when the interviewer is simply doing their job.

From the Blake Lively interview some people thought you were an awkward interviewer to begin with..but I want those to people to watch this interview and see how amazing you are at your job..the only reason you seemed off in that interview was cuz they probably gave you a cold shoulder even before the interview began!

When it comes to actors or musicians, I could give a rat’s a$$ on whatever they have to say or even listen to them speak, but Zach Galifianakis doing anything I take the time to watch. He is one of the funniest people ever. No entitlement, no phony persona, just a humble and insightful guy trying to do his thing in (bizarro) Hollywood.
This is a great interview. It is almost jarring to see an actor be so “human” and honest. I think we have come to expect the interviews to not contain much more than the PR buzz. Now I will make it a point to see Birdman.
I worked at a comedy club where some famous comedians would perform. What Zak says ab comedians is true. So many are quiet, introverts. For some reason, Bobcat Goldthwait sticks out the most for me. He stayed in the green room & kept to himself majority of the night. The comedy world is strange, but I think many comedians are very intelligent & interesting ppl
I kind love that you’re making another return to RUclips and getting a lot of love. You feel very authentic and relatable for some reason and not just a talking head. Long may this continue, you just got yourself a subscriber.

As a Greek with a very long last name (when i lived in NY i was called Miss A as noone could pronounce my last name, i give credit to him for keeping his very hard for non greeks to pronounce Galifianakis.

There’s a very endearing story of him taking care of an elderly homeless lady with whom he’s still friends and he looks after her…🥹…..sorry, the movie The Notebook didn’t make me cry but this kinda story…does. 😊☘️💚

hello...i'm sorry you were ataked verbally... i had this experience with a boss, a man, who also took an innocent comment badly and proceeded to threaten to fire me. still i would like to know - didn't BIake LiveIy feel atakked for her body...? didn't she feel like she's being mocked for her "bump" and for being asked (for the umpteenth time) about clothes?wasn't there time
to give her feedback right away and find out what was her issue there?

I remember reading a great Rolling Stone story on Zach where the interview talked about how Zach started the interview doing a character and then there was a point where he connected with the journalist and turned it off and the real Zack came out. It was because he trusted the journalist would tell his story with integrity, which is exactly why he connected with you.

It’s because Greeks from Crete are freaking awesome. They are wholesome and down to earth. Some are a little crazy if they’re from a specific area but still very very hospitable.

The most “honest” interview coming from ZG is so ironic and iconic. I actually never thought he answered interviews out of his comedic “character” and in his true voice, so this really surprised me as it seems really genuine. I feel like I never know with him but it sounded really honest which I appreciated!

Kjersti, you seem to be approaching everyone including Blake with a
very welcoming and gentle style. That is truly
a job well done. However - celebrities have been burned badly. They are honest and kind with
journalists when they're younger, and it gets used against
them. So they might come to you expecting you
to be another mean tabIoid person who has 'gotcha' questions. it's not your fault but Blake might have anticipated something mean - for reasons that have nothing to do with you. Celebrities do have pretty bad experiences as even Zach alludes to when he mentions the photos without consent and the tmz.
