- Random safespots&tricks from games 6, 7, 8, 10 and 11. There are tons of others and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Note: I'm not the player in some of these and I didn't really discover any of the safespots so I don't deserve any credit. I just thought this might be entertaining/educational for some people who already don't know about some of them.

I'm pretty sure the first one, with Cirno, works only on easy mode.
On normal and up, all you have to do is tap right/left when you see the yellow balls come out. With enough practice, you can learn a spot that she doesn't shoot more aimed shots by you being too close, but you won't die to the icicles.

I feel like zun makes safe spots on purpose so me can have that thrill of finding a safe spot you never knew works
I think this is the reason some bosses aim at the player. Others engulf the screen with bullets and make sure everything is hit. Examples: Utsuho, Nue, and Reimu.

Who on the face of the Earth found the save spot for Forbidden Barrage "Shadow Break"!? Who thought it was a good idea!? I mean yeah, it ened up working but STILL! how does one think of such thing!?!?

There is a simple way to find them. Someone watched a few replays of this attack and noticed that bullets don't visit this spot. Then they tried it.

Ori a) didn't say "hardest," I specifically avoided saying so to avoid this kind of thing lmao
b) because "hard" is relative. I've admittedly never made it to Yukari so Idk how well I'd handle BoLaD but for example I've heard people say Miko's last card is easy when I think it's ridiculous and I make all kinds of dumb deaths on it (inb4 "u fucking n00b u suck a 2hu")

You missed one:
Cirno's first nonspell (before Icicle Fall): Put your character's skirt over her head during the dialogue; when she starts firing none will hit.
Flans Lavatein and Patchys second spell also have tricks to them.
Patchy has like 4 different second spell though-
The incoming patterns are dependant on your own position. After the purple bullet and red ball waves appear if you stay in one spot and don't move the upcoming waves won't hit you.
Oh Forgiving Shrine has so many flaws, it's downright broken.
So... Should I take 9:06 as a sign that I'll never beat SA? Because I'm struggling/stuck on Parsee, and know Satori's only the 4th boss, but she's already saying lolnope at 9:20?

The Border of Wave and Particle one works on Normal also. I used it during my 1cc. Not sure about Easy and Hard since I never had the chance to test it on Hard and there's no point to me trying it on Easy now.

@ButtaNToast as far as I remember some of that stuff only works on certain difficulties. I thought it was pretty obvious but I guess it wasn't.
The first one only works on easy. The next 2 require higher difficulty than normal if I remember correct. Been too long since I've played these games.
On Icicle Fall, it seems to me that there's another safespot at the very top of the screen. ;)

Not what I said. Someone made a piano version of the remix and then called it Death Waltz to trick others into thinking it actually was Death Waltz.
On normal Icicle Fall works when you stand at the top above her, dodging the yellow bullet when it comes
Flandre Forbidden Barrage for me is quite fun and easy Spell card. The bullets are quite slow and you can easily dodge them thanks to little to no movement at all.
There are many songs played throughout the video, all from Touhou stage/boss themes...

Some spellcards are very different on different difficulties though. Keine's three treasure series look nothing like on each difficulty (and honestly the Lunatic version is a LOT easier than the Hard version. ZUN even says so in his comment the spellcards).
2:32: U.N. Owen was her? (That Death Waltz is a piano version of the Cool&Create Remix, while the real Death Waltz is a completely different song.)
3:57: Necrofantasia (Necro-Fantasy is its Extra Stage Counterpart. This is the Phantasm Version.)

I don't normally do these if im going for fun, but now, if i am doing an 1cc, i am just gonna skip on a safespot only if i can do something reaaaally consistently
Don't stay right next to her, if you're looking for survival instead of points. Stay at the very top of the screen, but still above her.
However, sometimes she will fly up to the top of the screen (or close enough that you still die).
But as for the third one, it's not worked for me yet...

karmic punishment safe spot looks, like, 10x harder than just doing the spell normally tbh
on 5:15 you can stay above the blue bullets but in the red bullets if you get right in the middle of the red bullets you can graze like mad. But its very difficult to do.

For what I can personally guarantee are Reimu/Marisa Normal and Reimu Hard. I'd test the rest myself but I lost my data files for all the games recently.
I have a question about Izuna Gongen and BoLaD. I still don't understand what does it exactly mean to redirect the purple bullets and red bubbles, can anyone explain? During the run, I normally try to stay below Ran/Yukari (either at right or left side of the screen where they can't move farther) and find the so-called safespot, but I tend to get hit by the blue/yellow balls at the end :(
i don't think anyone truly knows how it works or how to get it, they just move in a specific way and pray
yup... it works on every difficulty setting, lunatic isn't forgiving though
Huh, I didn't know about a lot of these. Still, it looks like it's easier/not worth it to just fight most of them the intended way.

anyway 'I' find it easier on harder difficulties because the bullets are faster, therefore don't linger around as screwup traps
I like to do Forgiving Shrine the *normal* way. The Death Fairy on IN Extra is also pretty easy... And I can't get past stage 4 on UFO.

and necro fantasy is the name of the music.. search it in youtube

aight since nobody answered I’m going to ask, how tf did you make suwako’s lasers aim upwards
when her dialogue you have to stay above her first, and when battle starts the red circle should have enlarge atleast once and then you should go down from above there, and then her spellcard will aim above because on nonspell she configures your current position before her spellcard

"Flaw of Forgiving Shrine" is a ridicolously easy by default because you just a minimum of movement to survive.

I would not redirect Youmu's opener on Stage 6 like shown in the video if I were you. That results in a literal wall crushing down on you.

I honestly think, for instance, Mountain of A Thousand Needles (one of Remilia's spellcards in EoSD) is easier on Lunatic than normal. idk if anyone agrees with me, and i havent got to Remi on hard or lunatic, it just LOOKS easier. so meh >>
