Loved G.I. Combat as a kid! You can make weld bead tools that work pretty well from various sizes of hypodermic needles. Very similar to what you made from the aluminum tubing.
Nice looking build so far! I recall those awesome DC Comics GI Combat, Sgt. Rock, The Unknown Soldier,Weird War Tales, and the short-lived 'Blitzkrieg' comic book! I believe i still have some of them in storage.🙂 Ever thought about doing a 'Haunted Tank' build. I remember seeing someone had built the 'junkyard' tank that was built in one of the old issues. Believe was posted on one of the internet forums. In the comic, they used a Stuart M3, an M4A1 Sherman, and jigsaw tank.' The art, if I'm correct was don by Sam Glanzman, and Joe Kubert did Sgt. Rock.. Perhaps the GI Combat junkyard or jigsaw tank is in your future..Thats a build to try!🤔🙂😃
