he led and supported in movies that could've easily gottem him some wins. hopefully in time he gets to stand at the podium for an award @@dariuschisholm7317
He seems like such a nice, happy, positive, unassuming fellow - and no detectable trace of the usual narcissism of a lot of show biz people... And he's a great actor, and open minded enough to work on such different projects with such different directors - the longevity and richness of his career is obviously testament to his talent but also his wonderful personality, he'd be a great acting partner and great friend too I'm sure!
I just love this guy haha. He's so interesting. Even though he's always cast as a villain, the role I loved him most in was The Florida Project. I loved the humanity he brought to the role.
I wanted to see pictures or vidoes (if there were any) of Willem Dafoe when he was with the crowd of Filipinos during the Philippines' People Power Revolution.
Poor Things is one of my favorite films of all time. I cannot express how much I loved it. It is a brilliant film on every level. The cast was amazing. And you can't go wrong with Willem Dafoe, Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo.
This man's Oscar is so overdue! And he really deserves one for every role he's played! However, he is not political, which I believe has hurt him in the long run!
I speak German, well enough that native German speakers are surprised when I get confused on grammar because I don't sound like it's a foreign language to me until I pause or stutter, etc. I pride myself on the speech of it. And yet I can't do a German accent either. It always turns into a muddy Indian accent. Never could figure out why, but I'm glad Willem shares this weird note with me.
Brilliant discussion very informative and embracing loved it taught me a lot thank you so much. Also absolutely loved you in poor things like something i have never seen. Wow breathtaking, and to hear you and emma are on a new movie with yorgos is mind bending captivating. Thank you for everything willem. 🩷
Willem Dafoe is like a giddy 20 year old soul in a 68 year old body with the wisdom of a 100 year old.
Sooooo true
I hope he gets an Oscar someday.
The fact he doesn't has at least 1 shows what a joke the oscars are
:) @NewTrekWarsTheory77.

1:13 What a fantastic Yakuza meme
So much energy, charisma and joy in this man. A national treasure and one of our great actors.
1:13 lmao the friggin Yakuza meme 😂
That was funny AF about Oscar Isaac. You can just see Ruffalo's face.
Superb actor. Can't wait to see Poor Things.
1:14 Willam Defoe as the Dragon of Dojima, Kazama Kiryu. 😂
Willem has such a fun uncle energy to him
1:14 LEGEND!!
1:13 I really wasn't expecting a Yakuza meme in a Willem Dafoe interview, but here we are.
Kiryu Dafoe, Willem kazuma, take your pick
Protect this man at all costs.

1:13 Yakuza mention
William Dafoe and Gary Oldman should be in a film together!
As an actor his mesmerizing to watch i have liked all his movies there’s something about him that is very likable
I love him
Willem Dafoe Like A Dragon
He was great in Inside, an amazing movie, one of my favorites of 2023
And another great from Focus Features, and I was excited for the film, the week it came out.
kiryu kazuma
What a gem of a person
I always loved his characters, now i want to have a beer with him. Seem's like a very nice person.
He sounds so nice irl
One of my favorite actor in Hollywood, underrated!
I always think he looks so much like Cillian Murphy in that photo of Platoon (at 0:21)
This man's Oscar is so overdue! And he really deserves one for every role he's played! However, he is not political, which I believe has hurt him in the long run!
Streets of Fire is a guilty pleasure. Watch it when just bored. Knowing his career now, kinda cool to see the start of it and where he is today
Yakuzabros rise up
These are nice questions that he answers so well
I'll never forget Bobby Purue 😂
Now I want a Willem Dafoe Batman!
I saw the movie INSIDE a couple of months ago...it is such a Risky and difficult role he plays...
Such a gentleman. He will play the Joker eventually, and it will be the best one, as we know it, c`mon...
Nah only the Green Goblin really suits him
An interesting watch !
Very nice and talented actor.

I like to think he mentioned his char Jesus because he just watched his Criterion collection of Last Temptation of Christ lol
Do this interview with mark ruffalo please❤
Yakuza Reference?
I wish he would have said something about Streets of Fire.
I adore this actor.
HE DOES DESERVE AN OSCAR!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Typo in the title. Its spelled Willem Dripfoe
Revolutionary Dafoe
Simply the best.
Willem Dafoe is the best actor. I loved him in Finding Nemo as Gill 🐠🖤🤍💛, Spider-Man, as the green goblin 💚🔥🎃, and Aquaman as Vulko 🌊 🐚 🔱.
Wow. Just wow.
what a nice guy
Grettings from Kamurocho Tercermundista and Majimaposting
Will the Academy just give him the Oscar please 😊
Love the content, but not that incessant background music, ughh.
He is so amazing
Why does it look like Wilem knew how to fillet flesh before his training from the mortician
I would love to see his interpretation of the Joker. I mean, the man looks nearly identical to the Joker in the comics.
Greatest actor ever!
I have never seen poor things yet.
Batman? he could play Joker for sure. I would love that!
I did see it… still trying to figure it out.
Green Goblin, Gwen Stacy and Bruce Banner in the same movie
He should get the nod for inside
The Last Temptation of Christ came out in 1988.
Willem Dafoe is the Joker we need, but not the one we deserve.
Boondock saints? John wick?
The man is too cool.
So Norman Osborn was so guilty after killing Gwen Stacy he decided to resurrect her!
Willem Dripfoe
He should have played the Joker, not Batman.
Okay, am I bugging or can he... get it? Or should get off of Letterbox'd
THE JOKER IN DCU
