If it doesnt brake the bank vs traditional soap wash. Good video oscar. Glad some people understand the value of waterless and rinseless wash against traditional soap water washes. Much love brother

      Some "detailers" actually try to put people out of business just for using waterless wash, which in their words they consider it a "blight on the detailing industry".

    Excellent video Oscar!!! Very informative with physical instruction (how to) on waterless wash vs. rinseless wash. I too prefer a rinseless wash just for the ease of use and less product. I always get 5 microfiber towels and soak them in the wash bucket and designate each rage to a section of the car so as not to cross contaminate them be re-dunking them into the wash bucket. I also use distilled water so I don't have to be in a hurry over water spotting.

    • @hartlanddetailer5670
      @hartlanddetailer5670 3 года назад +1

      I too use distilled water and only dunk one towel at a time in my ONR mix, because it depends how dirty the cars are, I may use two towels or four towels? I fold them into fours, only using clean sides. I will pour clean ONR back into my jug to use next time.

    i have a plant/garden pump sprayer which i put a rinse-less shampoo in it then pre-rinse to add lubrication than go with normal rinse less washing. i even did that once with normal car shampoo and used water in the pump sprayer instead worked fine i dont have access to free flowing water so i work with what's available.

  • @Methodical2

    Each washing method has it's place depending on the level of "dirty vehicle" for me. I can see using the rinseless or the waterless method during those times when the vehicle is lightly dirty and I want to do a quick cleanup and it doesn't require the normal washing method. When the vehicle is really dirty and the wheels/tires need a good cleaning and the wheel wells need cleaning, the typical wash method would be applied. Basically, I see the rinseless and waterless as a maintenance cleaning method for me.

      It’s not complicated at all. Some areas in the city doesn’t want car wash in their area. It’s forbidden say the least. Condos and apartments some sort don’t have access to water and it’s not legal to do it also. So waterless or rinseless car wash comes in. Like I said it’s not complicated. And it’s not these RUclipsr detailer wanting for content.

    I mean I prefer a reg soap wash. I use 1 bucket with a few mitts. I do RW in the summer time in between regular washing. Last weekend for example we went a week without rain. Car had a light coat of dust.pollen on it. For a RW i like to use a worm mitt but follow with a damp 500 gsm towel before drying.

    Great vid. Another method i use during waterless wash depending on the level of dirt. I don’t rinseless wash, I still do waterless wash BUT I saturate it with my waterless product for few minutes then apply the regular amount of waterless wash then wipe and dry. Pump sprayer would be best than spray bottle.

    Great vid Oscar but I am somewhat confused. You said sometimes that you will pressure wash it first then rinseless. Wouldn’t you at that point after the pressure washer just continue the traditional way? I thought the rinseless was for when you are not able to hook up your pressure washer to a water outlet.

    • @Oher58

      Joe Poe he might be talking more to the actual mobile detailing people. Cause if they do a fast 💨 pressure wash and follow with either rinseless/waterless they can save water which means saving 💰. Also it’s faster then your traditional washing process. It’s just an option that he points out.

    Learning that the best way to view rinseless is a “drying aid” free wash rather than a pure rinseless. Hit it first with an APC foam or rinseless pre spray with your cheapo spray bottle to loosen dirt, rinse with the hose, then hit the paint with your UBS or mf and dry.

    I use ONR year round and it's my preferred method of washing a car. I don't use to wash the car if I'm doing a full detail. I would use a striping wash soap then, but I would use ONR without wax as a panel prep. I live in the Midwest, so we get snow, ice, etc. and ONR mix still works well. If my cars are not very dirty, I can wash my cars about 600 times for $20.00. ONR should be a staple for any mobile detailer.

    I prefer waterless wash. When you spray the car down, it lifts up the dirt and adds lubrication like clay lube. Then you can use your microfiber to gently wipe the dirt and spray off. It adds protection behind. Perfect for areas with city water restrictions.
    Rinseless is fine if you don't have your supplies. But it leaves more scratches. You can feel the resistance even when you wash gently with a wash mitt.
