Do you know if the pcb board is good one-time use until one of the cells goes bad? I have the same PCB board but seems to not be working anymore after I accidental broke one of the BMS wire (blue).
you soldered the wires on the outside. i know it wont fit the case.. i have rebuilt several dewalt batteries even the tabs have very little clearance. how much more for a wire for balance charging sticking out both sides..

It's all about the quality of the cells - the capacity as well will come from the cells . 3500 mah will give you 20v max 6 ah battery . It was not easy to build this pack and also I heard from others that it did not charge after a period ..
@@doit_vehicles hmm, I've got some dewalt batteries already but I was thinking when they lose capacity if I should just replace the battery cells? Would that be possible to do and would it pose problems with the charging in the future?
The tutorial is too short, would appreciate it more if you can do it in more detail explaining each and every step of connection of wires to the cells in detail.

Where did you get the kit (case + BMS + indicator + battery holder) ?

I don't think that is a BMS. It is just a simple protection board + charge indicator. Balancing is done by the charger.

That should be easy and safe to do , since the bms , and all the pack is original ;
