The original vaterra twin hammers was truly a great vehicle out of the box. I still enjoy using mine, however since Vaterra is no longer making vehicles I do see the shortage of parts already. For my glamis vehicles there's parts that are no longer available, Same for the twin hammers. Very sad.... Anyway I kinda vented a bit haha, awesome shes back and running again.✌🏼😎
I also got the 10428- yup fried the esc aswell ^^ i just made my own driveshaft with from an M bolt + angle grinder... now i cant find a suitable able ESC to replace it. is the stock 40a or 60a?
Not sure what the stock one is from a power level, but I am running a stock Axial ESC now without any issues. The Hobbywing 1080 is also a great choice at $40!

Good point. This may continue to be more of an issue. Hadn't really thought about it with Vaterra going under.

These are 1.9s on there now. Total height of the tire is really a problem, as anything taller and it would rub the body when turning.
