@@tomasclash1005 Yes but as long as you have one that can get pretty hot. Sorry for the delayed response. I thought I replied already. I hope all has worked out for you. cheers
i need help, i have the FY08, but the shafts are the same for nearly all the feiyue models (i have the exact same metal shaft as you in the vid). the FY08 has a brushless stronger motor, but not that strong THAT THE METAL "HANDS" OF THE SHAFT JUST SNAP OFF..... IT IS METAL.....AND THIS THING JUST SNAPS THEM OF LIKE IT IS PLASTIC. and i also done a diy waterproofing mod, but the shafts are rusting. can you PLEASE help me? EDIT: i noticed that you have metal CV joints in the front, and those are waaaaaay more sturdier than U-joints. are those available for the rear too?
Hi dude.. I have the FY03H which is brushless, and I'm still on stock rear-center driveshaft (plastic), and lucky me it hasn't broken yet! 😌 I'm not sure what you can do about the rusting. I've never experienced that. Perhaps clean/sand off the rust and then spray with some Kill-Rust? Shoot me some pics if you don't mind, curious to see the rust! (Message me through my facebook page facebook.com/MickoRC). Yeah metal CVDs on the front wheels of this WLToys 12428. Are you asking if driveshafts with CVD joints for the rear-centre are available? Coz I had a quick look online and couldn't find any, only U-joint ones like we have. 😞
@Little Raptor These look like driveshafts with CVD joints but unfortunately they're not telescopic. hobbiesdirect.com.au/Yeah-Racing-Black-Stainless-Steel-Aluminium-TRX-4-Centre-Front-Rear-Drive-Shaft-Set-2Pc-TRX4-015BK
@@MickoRC ok, thanks for the asnwers! and i did what you said there, grabbed some sandpaper, sanded it off and spryed it with WD-40. no rusting so far, but what i noticed is, that the paint on the metal stops it from rusting, but that scrapes off super easilly. but still, thanks!
Thanks for the service. Driveshaft is still in tact! 🙂
no worries. a fluke it's still ok. hehe 🤣
Think I need to put my car in your shop too.
many thanks
I used to watch RC races in Tagaytay and shoot from a very low angle to get that realistic look.

How do you heat it up the broken shaft off from the diff gear?
How in the world did you unscrew the screws on the driveshaft? Mine seem to be welded there
@@MickoRC Thanks for advice! I'll try to do it today, although I don't have a torch, can it be done with a soldering iron?

I get a little blow torch and i heat up the tip of the allen. Or if rusted WD40.
Hi brian. Thanks for stopping by and watching. I will certainly give that a try next time. Thanks for the tip!
That happens with Rc cars fix one thing then something else breaks 👍🏻
