Hi I always use this when I cook chicken salan so straight forward thanks! I have to cook for my family and will use 2 chickens. I am not sure about ratios, would I just double everything and the time taken for 1 kilo chicken like your video shows? Thanks!

How many tbsp of garlic/ginger paste will equate to the ginger/ garlic used here?
I would use 1 tsp of ginger paste and 1 tsp of garlic paste in place of them. Hope that helps. Let me know how it goes if you try it! 😊

Love the recipe but was surprised to see that spices specially cumin seeds were not fried in oil first.
I know wholes spices are usually fried in the oil first, but this was the way my mother makes it, so I stuck to this way of making it. 😊

You could do, but a mixture of chicken on the bone would be best as the bones release a lot of juiciness and flavour. 😊

Hi there! The garlic will soften in the curry and basically blend in. There is no need to take it out! Hope that helps! ☺️
