He should upgrade to lithium for his track car.. would save a good amount of weight. Might throw off the weight distribution slightly but I’m not sure how much it’d affect things.. not to mention all the other benefits of lithium batteries..
He said he has 60 ah of headway lithium cells sitting at his house. He's just waiting on the bus bars to show up.
It's basically just a fun/showcar now but yeah, I've upgraded to 96Ah of headway and it's on 2 JP23v2's strapped now. Plus I bolted the box down since you saw it jump over lol.

Hey, question for you Jacob.. was it okay when you rolled down his side window while he was demoing? I’ve heard that opening windows or doors while demoing at high volumes, can cause unloading which makes sense to me.. is there a reason that wouldn’t apply to this system, that I’m just unaware of? Thanks
If your sub unloads from rolling down a window or opening a door . Your box is wrong.
I've seen him do stuff like that in a lot of videos I'm surprised someone hasn't went off on him yet I don't care to let anyone hop in and listen but when you get in the car and start telling the owner of the system what to do instead of just enjoying the demo that's not cool and especially rolling the window down mid song you could destroy someone's equipment
@SlamryCamry19 very true. If their box is to big. He's not a very personable dude.
Most systems it's fine to have a window down, but a door never as that's a major cabin adjustment so I always ensure the systems turned down before opening doors. In general it's not a good idea to mess with an owners equipment/vehicle and let them do their own thing during demos. Sometimes the window down slightly or open up makes a system louder that won't appear on camera but in a vehicle you can audibly hear the difference. Hope that helps 👍
@JacobViral very true one door a window open will get louder but if it unloads there's a problem. I have a single kicker l7X 12 that does a 147db on music in my suv. The box is slightly larger than manufacturers specs with far more port area than the manufacturer recommends. I can open doors windows or the hatch at full tilt without a problem. If I had a larger amp in sure it would do even more.
