- DUP voter Jane from Antrim condemns gay people and says sodomy is against the word of god. When asked about her own sexual practices, she says the interviewer is being "offensive".
Context: DUP leader Arlene "Snarlene" Foster was forced to resign by colleagues after abstaining in a vote to ban gay conversion therapy. She had also previously supported a gay DUP councillor and tentatively reached out to the LGBT community.

This is what happen to a person when bigotry and discrimination are considered an acceptable part of the culture they grew up in for generations, it becomes a pervasive poison to the point the bigot is not only unapologetic for their prejudice but actually sees their intolerance as a badge of honour .

The sin of Sodom was NOT homosexuality. Check the original Hebrew and Greek of the scriptures. I was a Baptist Pastor. There is no reason whatsover why Genesis 19 can't be translated "All the PEOPLE of Sodom...where are the PEOPLE."
She's distorting Our lords word. The sodomy she talks about is between man and boy, thus what she actually means is Our lords against paedophiles. That I totally understand, anybody being against paedophiles is a fantastic thing in my eyes and heart though calling anybody that's LGBTQIA+ evil is ridiculous in my mind and in reality. I'm pansexual and a catholic, does she think I shouldn't be able to believe in our lord god because of who I happen to be attracted too?, Which is I don't see gender or sexual orientation. I'm attracted to people- eighteen years and above. Doe's she think that's wrong?, because to be honest, I could care less what some old bigot believes to be fair. The only being I care about is god and what god believes and I imagine he made LGBTQIA+ people for a good reason, don't any of you?.

@markyinbelfastxx9088 God (the bible) stands with opinions on multiple things that I don't see happening in today's society. This doll Jane has barked on for 8 minutes on one topic that clearly rattles her but I've never heard her on rattling about all the other things happening in todays society that don't tie in with scripture.
Hence the issue. You cannot be selective when talking about God's teachings
