What an amazing human being. He is so brave and seems so genuine and down to earth. He is such an inspiration and should be so proud of himself. He’s absolutely awesome!
Dylan Zanatta yeah the syndrome can go away when you reach adulthood or when you are a teenager but the tics will probably stay there or you can get a tic disorder therapy and be cured from it
Tim Tam tourettes isnt just the tics. It is also about concentration problems and a couple of other stuff that i cant remember at the top of my head. Tourettes is essentially a mixture between add, atypical autism and either motor tics, vocal tics or both. So no. you don't have to have a mixture and the tics change, I have had some audible tics (hissing sounds) in the passed but I don't have it now

i'm liking the way this show not censoring the bad words, because it will make people realize and learn that this is involuntary and the man suffering from this condition is not at fault and normal people should be understanding and embrace them
What i dont like is how people refer to them as "bad words" Some people just express themselves differently, some, like the guy in the video, cant even control it.

The guy seems like a pretty cool dude to kick it with, even without the ticks. For me, the ticks just add to his all around character. I'm sure he would rather not suffer from them, but he seems to be making the best of it and is able to have a giggle at himself. Nobody should feel sorry for the guy, he clearly isn't sorry. Not to say there are never points where he doesn't feel bad. But what can ya do? Just say "fuck it" and move on.

I agree. I think the presenter conducted this interview really professionally. He made everything as comfortable and natural as possible. The audience was great as well
My father has tourettes and I have so much respect for him with what hes dealt with through his life. Its heartbreaking that hes 71 years old and is an extremely hard working tractor trailer mechanic and that deals with middle aged coworkers knocking over his 5 foot tall tool box, they send harassing letters to him, and they go as low as to mimic his disability. It's also hurtful when we go out in public, even just to have a nice quiet family dinner, and you see people staring, laughing, and even making comments because of something he has no control over. It truly shows their ignorance and how pathetic they are. If anyone sees someone in public like Lewis or my father, dont laugh, stare, or mimic them....Say Hi to them bc I will guarantee youd end up with a lifelong best friend.
For people with Tourette's, there is *NO FILTER* when they're really nervous or excited. Imagine having to say the most hurtful, shameful, inappropriate, and/or taboo shit to people who are showing you respect, paying attention to you and taking you seriously. You don't fucking *want* to hurt or disrespect them, of course, because you're trying to reciprocate the respect they're showing you, but it's like an itch that absolutely will not go away until you scratch it.

He's really endearing and funny. However, neither he nor Tourette's is a joke. Tourette's must be incredibly exhausting both mentally and physically. I wish him the best of luck.
Chase H. It is. I have tourettes . You tend to think of the worst thing of any person situation or object and though you know it is wrong to say it comes out it has to . I hate being close to any pregnant women because I end up yelling abortion . And that's not me. I don't want her to about her child lol.

Watching this was bitter sweet. As funny as this appears on the surface it still left me with a tear in my eye. Life is challenging enough without having to deal with something like this. Hats off to him for his great attitude in life. I'm sure he will raise awareness and comfort many to have to deal with this too. Wishing him all the very best in all that he does. He had the BEST advice EVER!!! SUCH an inspiring guy!!!!
I remember watching a Undateables episode that featured a Tourette's guy. In that episode the guys ticks went away as soon as he relaxed. Maybe the problem stems from extreme stress as well as a genetic?
No doubt, I get a shit ton more tics when I’m out in public, and/or meeting new people. It’s definitely anxiety-inducing, and because you know you’re gonna have this problem, you only get more anxious, and that makes it even worse. When I’m by myself or at home, I don’t get tics as much
Sweg Mastur yeah this happens to me too, they get worse when I’m under stress or stressing about ticking. They also get worse when I’m with other people who tick.
Before you put negative comments on here, perhaps you should look at your own life very closely.. this is a man with a situation he would like to not have, but he seems a real nice guy and gives an insight to what it is like living with it. I hope he carries on being himself and enjoys life...
Stephen love's the RA and needs to do a sit up🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 That had me in tears when I watched it before but also in administration for the young man👍☘
Top lad good on you kid for dealing with tourettes in the way you do.i had your problem when I was very young until my mid twenties and then it gradually tapered off.i learned to control my tics but they can still affect me now and I'm 47. Hopefully one day you will regain normality but never be ashamed of the tics.

Thank you for being so brave and sharing your experience and being so vulnerable. Hope you get better soon.
he has courage to come and speak. what a brave guy
Ah Lewis I know him well lives in my estate and have been out with him a lot of times, soundest/funniest guy I've ever met
How is he doing now? What is his current situation?
@@Faizidogarvlogs must be living good from that RUclips money.
Before you put negative comments on here, perhaps you should look at your own life very closely.. this is a man with a situation he would like to not have, but he seems a real nice guy and gives an insight to what it is like living with it. I hope he carries on being himself and enjoys life...
This guy would make so much money being a comedian HAHHAA XD

Top lad good on you kid for dealing with tourettes in the way you do.i had your problem when I was very young until my mid twenties and then it gradually tapered off.i learned to control my tics but they can still affect me now and I'm 47. Hopefully one day you will regain normality but never be ashamed of the tics.
