      In what way is the Cross of st Andrew's a "foreign flag" to people who identify with Scotland? The Irish Protestants are more closely associeted with Scotland than with Eire so whether the saltire is "foreign" is presumably a matter of perspective.

You would think that considering the fools they've made of themselves across the World with their sectarian shite they might have learned something but apparently not. The fact that Peter Robinson actually publicly supported pastor James McConnell's Islamophobic remarks last year was insane. In any other country in the World that would have been political suicide but it seems the World has just accepted that Loyalist's are nutjobs. I swear to Christ, you couldn't make this stuff up. The very act of claiming to be a British citizen is a rejection of a political event, namely the independence of the Republic. Whatever you think of his opinions, an immensely brave man. Since Sinn Fein agreed to the EU principle of unlimited foreign immigration into Ireland, many people will be asking themselves was all the sacrifice worth it?

    Did Bobby Sands die in vain?

    • @imedi
      @imedi 10 лет назад +1

      no because sands died to overthrow and take down a unionist sectarian state ..much has changed the unionist bigots no longer rule their ruc hench men are gone those that remain no longer have the freedom to carry out their orders .the falgs issue is proof as to the fact that they cant have thing their own way anymore...a united ireland was never going to come at the point of a gun ..it can only come through politics

    • @jonoessex
      @jonoessex 10 лет назад +1

      imedi No bobby sands died to remove the Brits from Ireland at the point of a gun. The IRA was not a moderate organisation which favoured reform of the Northern Ireland state. They wanted to overthrow it and they failed. "Unionist bigots" didn't rule after Stormont was abolished in 1972. The GFA is as seamus mallon called it "sunningdale for slow learners".

      lol we went trough all this before..just like before anyone who thinks there were no unionists bigots in power after stormont was abolished does not want to see the facts or does not know the facts.. as i told you before support for groups like the ira did not exist out of thin air. if northern ireland had no problems groups like the ira could not breathe.. as for mallon well lets put it like this he has such a hard on for sinnfein he will say anything he even tried to lay the blame for gerry conlon at the foot of sinnfein this weekend..i will say again maybe u have forgotten ..it was unionist paranoia gave birth to PIRA nothing else.. hell in the late 60s when unionist mobs came to west belfast to burn them out the ira at the time did not even have weapons to protect the catholics..lol say what you like u cant change the facts that history shows us..armed struggle was never going to shift the brits the ira knew that in the 60s which was why there were so few weapons around that time.. it was sectarian paranoia that fanned the flames for the next 30 years nothing more..ffs look at whats even happening today with flags and marching so to a degree it still exists.. the problem the unionist have now is that their british masters will not play ball anymore

    Let's face it: neither the Unionist majority in NI. nor the people of the Irish Republic want any part of a country that includes the fundamentalist Republican terrorist groups of Sinn Fein, and their voters, and IRA. Would you support the permanent exile of those, say, 75,000 people to Romania or Kazakhstan or some such? If so, we might do business on a United country. Serious proposal, no messing.

    • @johnj.anthonymcquade6876

      well if your talking about the permanant exile and expulsion of the british government institutions such as stormont mi5 psni rirs and such and the establish of an independent united 32 county irish workers republic where those with a british and irish and neither identity can live and work for the betterment of our nation ireland we can do business but what you said is stupid and down right dumb
