- ***Could the Tropics get an early start around March 21-22 as a Gulf Low forms and could acquire some subtropical characteristics. Just what could the impacts be as this low is expected to impact Florida next weekend, and eventually could make a beeline up the US East Coast March 23-25, combined with a pressure gradient could cause beach erosion and coastal flooding issues all the way up the east coast. Full details and analysis!

I don’t think we have ever had a tropical system of any kind develop in March before. But considering sea surface temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean are already as warm as they should be in May, could happen.
It is crazy to even think about, but definitely you are right about those sea surface temperatures being well ahead of schedule for warmth. Watching closely as if this acquires some subtropical characteristics, this could be the earliest on record. Could be a precursor of things to come for Hurricane Season 2024.
Happy st Patrick’s day 🍀

Thank you so much. I greatly appreciate it, and it helps to get the weather word out. Glad to keep you up to date on all the weather.
What are the implications if this becomes subtropical
If it became subtropical, it would likely be able
to form a larger hybrid storm circulation and larger wind field. They also tend to be more unpredictable than the standard cold core system when it comes to storm impacts.
Mark, maybe I'll get some snow ❄️
You may end up getting a few snow showers this week, I think your best chance is looking like Friday night where there could be some moisture in your area with just cold enough that you will be around 29-31 degrees. Watching closely as I am sure you will get some late Winter/early Spring snow this year.
No way!! LA Nina is going to drive Canadian cold weather back to Canada!! You guys don't know squat!!
Happy St Patty's Day

What is your prediction for Orlando March 23rd to March 30th still chance of severe weather? Thank you for answering yesterday appreciate it a lot I’m just getting very worried
Great question and always glad to answer. I am thinking the worst of the storms will have moved out of Orlando and Florida by the 23rd, so you should be good weather for arriving around the 23. However that stretch of weather around the 27th and 28th March could be very rocky as I expect another very vigorous low pressure system to approach later on the 27th and last potentially til the 28th. It has the potential to produce a big squall line of storms which could become severe. I am watching the worst time frame during that time period to be between 3pm on March 27 to noon on March 28th. I will release some more detailed updates on that week as we draw closer, as I think that storm deserves some attention and coverage too.
@@Meteomarkthank you so much i will be asking every day and happy St Patrick day
Sounds good, I will keep you updated. Happy St Patrick’s Day
Bring the snow
Definitely agree, we need some last minute snow before the Spring Season takes over. Would be nice to get at least a few inches.
@@Meteomark YES gotta get water tables up b4 spring . for summer use .

Thank u Mark 4 updates
Glad to keep you updated. Looks like a stormy pattern, not only colder and some lake effect chances this week, but getting concerned about that Gulf low later this week that could become subtropical. Could be an early start to Tropical Season for sure. Watching closely.
