That's rough, glad it was not a break! The first time I hurt myself on lynx was the same thing but my high-ish motorcycle boots saved me from most of it. I hoped on then tried to fix my foot position and boom I am down at around 10mph. after that I had a sore ankle/hip for a couple of days. After that crash I started doing some drills where I practice taking off and riding for a few yards with only one foot on a pedal and one in the air. once you learn to one foot ride it makes positioning the 2nd foot SO MUCH easier, after I got the hang of one foot balance I focused on just launching over and over again and I have not crashed or even gotten close to crashing like that again. EUC has been taking me longer to fully learn than I thought, but it is so rewarding when you start to feel like your wheel is a part of you.
Sending some good vibes and karma your way. Hoping your foot gets well soon. I've often thought about the idea of being "too locked in" on the EUC. Maybe you would be able to more easily bail off with a little extra room between the top of your foot and the pad. Thanks for the update and I hope to see you back doing that 30 mile ride soon.
Thank you my friend! As soon as able I’m trying again. That’s for sure. Actually ima have to hold out because I’m ready like tomorrow 😂 I love this EUC journey. Gotta use my head though. You know how it is. Anxious to get back on the horse but I gotta be smart and heal.
Thank you my friend. For some reason I thought they were. They’re just tight as hell and funny shaped. Either way I’m done with em at least til I get my skills up.
Ouch! Sorry to hear about the foot. Hope you’re back riding in a week or so. Until just a few days ago, I kept my pads pretty loose because I was afraid of my foot getting stuck like that in a spin out, low speed fall or worse. Plus, I don’t have arms with hands, so I use my legs/feet to catch the wheel. Legs stayed bruise and tore up with learning. Feet getting stuck is gonna leave me in a bad way one of these days. Thanks for the update. Take it easy and heal up!
Sorry to hear this. One of the first things I did on my Patton was, I removed the built-in toe hooks to allow me to extricate my feet and not twist an ankle, etc. Heal up, take care of yourself.
Main reason I do NOT used spike pedals not shoes. I don't want my foot locked in. Keep my pad just tight enough so my foot don't jump up and down on bumps, but never locked in. If I need to jump off, I can Better to bail off the machine and let the machine take the damage/fall, then I take the fall/damage WITH the machine One thing I have learned with RUclips Creators in general, no matter the subject is they give very bad advice. Don't follow their advice about locking your foot in and excessive leaning forward on EUC you will bust yo a$$
I’m learning. That’s for sure. Some things the hard way 😂 not gonna throw the shoes away but I’m going back to my regular shoes. That’s for sure. Lock in is not good at all.
Yessir. Thank you Homie!! I’m gonna have to hold out. Stuck my foot on it today and was ready to roll out 🤣 wouldn’t be wise though. By Monday I think I’ll be good.
What’s up brother. Sorry for the fall. I’m glad it wasn’t worse. Hey man it sucks but it’s apart of the game. It’s crazy but sometimes the worse falls are from mounting or dismounting. And while going slow. Again I’m happy you didn’t break nothing. How was the lynx? I’m sure it’s better then you are
Yessir. Comes with the territory. Can’t wait to get back at. Lynx is good. I’m pretty sure. I barely let it hit the ground. Thank goodness I didn’t break anything. Broken bones suck. Pretty sure this is just a bad sprain. Soon as I can I’m back on the horse. U already know 😂 can’t stop won’t stop 🤣 thank you for the support most def my friend 💯
Yeah im not an EUC guy, but seems like itd be best just using spiked pedals and not also shoes. I would think even just the spiked pedals are super grippy enough even for racing or jumping them things u know. But damn dude that sucks.. youll bounce back quick tho fosho
glad you good bro. My first crash was a death wobble at 35 mph on my T4. I was a new rider and had very tired legs and I wanted to see how fast I could go. I wobbled on my first try, but the second wobble got me. I managed to slow down the wheel and do a baseball slide. Had a little elbow injury, little bruise on my need, little nerve damage on my right foot and I lost my nail on my big toe on my left foot. I was banged up, but still rode home, but I had unlocked a new fear lol. That was almost 2 years ago though. Keep it up bro and good to hear you ain't giving up.
Death wobble. That just sounds like a whole painful experience. Glad you got through it. I’m back on this week. I’m hooked. Had to hold out for a few days. I sprained my foot pretty bad. Felt damn there like a break but each day I’m walking a little better. Might do a little ride tomorrow 🙌🏾
Can’t say enough great stuff about the forma boots you may want to try a set of the lows! I went down a couple weeks ago on the Floatwheel crossing some railroad tracks. Just rode over them wrong I guess. May of chipped or fracture tip of my elbow. Stupid thing is I wore my safety gear all day till the end of the ride. Dang it lesson learned. Rest up, heal up, make some videos! Peace be with ya!
Most definitely my friend. You too. Speedy recovery!! Broken bones suck. I can take cuts all day but broken bones are my kryptonite. Pretty sure this is just a bad sprain in foot. Can’t really walk at 100 percent. Super painful but it’s get a little better every day. I can actually wiggle my toes. 🤣 I’ll probably go for a little ride tomorrow. I’m itching to get back out there. I’ll definitely check the boots you suggest. Keep on shredding my friend and thank you as always!!
That sucks. But it comes with the territory. You sound like a real ryder tho. We're more worried about ryding again than healing. Lol It's the same with motorcycles. Get well soon man! 👊🏾✌🏾🚀
For real Homie. It’s part of the game. I gotta check myself. It’s like playing football and you get hurt. Coach wants to take you out the game but you ain’t trying to hear that 🤣 I’m back at it this week though. Thank you Homeboy 🙌🏾

I can’t wait to get to that point. Where I’m 1 with the wheel. I know I got some riding to do. I’m learning slowly but surely. 1 day my friend!
Get well soon
