Good job!! You made it! I keep telling myself I’m gonna go out and just work on start and stops over and over. Then I never do because once I’m up I don’t want to mess with having to mount again. 😂
😂😂😂 fo real. You see I didn’t want to stop. I’m like just let me reach the car 😂 but I seriously do need to just take a day and practice the little things. It would definitely help. Thanks for watching my friend!!
Enjoying watching your euc journey, as I too am new to this. I understand the PTSD moments after a tumble where I've hurt myself. Pushing through quickly gets that out of the way. I ride with my knee/shin pads pointing slightly outwards to reduce the pressure on my legs - might work for you?. The Keys looks a great place to be living and riding -- despite the mosquitos and big-arsed bugs in the face!. Keep on keeping on! I'll be following you from here on the other side of The pond! Rick
Thank you my friend. Definitely a little PTSD going on 😂 the love for cruising is pushing me through it though. I’ll have trying that pointing slightly outward. That pain is right in my shin.
You’re kicking ass Man💯 this time next year you’re gonna be a pro! I can tell you’re a thinker and may be overthinking it sometimes, but that’s cool. I can’t beleive you’re on a Lynx already!💯🔥
Thank you Homie!! The Lynx stayed on my mind. I need to get rid of the V8s. I don’t see myself riding it anymore. It’s just sitting in the kitchen. I’m definitely a super thinker.
As an urban street rider I've been experimenting with reducing my spring preload, one notch/ring each ride, no change to rebound or compression. For your type of riding the pads should not be tight. Just close enough to be handy for acceleration and braking. Technically you and I could easily ride without pads.
The pads aren’t super tight. They’re just there in case I drop the wheel. I don’t use to accelerate. Maybe a little to brake. I need to adjust some more to see what feels best. We’ll get there my friend. Just keep shredding 🙌🏾
@@therealbergexperience5640 just as easy just will take some time getting used to. Heavy wheel like that may even take longer. Just need to work on going left to right and it will start Happening naturally :) you will notice a natural change in stability getting stronger doing so though!
Broooooo I was waiting for that drone sunset clip at the end 😮. Lol. Nice ride, can’t see you being scared, you are the EV legend. My GT is still at 12 miles, lmao. I’m the scared one.I hate bugs, they are all over the greenways here in nyc.
I wanted to get the sunset but wasn’t too impressive. Next time homie. I gotchu. You gotta put a few miles in on that gt. I still ride the gt daily. It’s just fun. U already know. Gear up and take slow in the beginning but the more you ride the better it gets 🙌🏾
My gee you doing it man. That’s it. All it takes is constant practice. Don’t worry about over thinking things. Sometimes that helps you be more safer. I enjoy watching your journey man. I really do. I am still on my journey and love to watch others progress. I need to get me them Leatt knee pads. I’m just waiting till the ones I have get old enough for me to upgrade. The same thing happened with me with my wrist in the beginning but not as bad as yours thank god. They say the worst accidents happen while going slow or mounting and dismounting. Injuries are a part of this game. We just gotta try to be as safe as we can to minimize the injuries. And learn from them. You did good on the turning bro. Good job. I learned that you can use your knees to push the wheel to help your turn. As far as working on mounting and dismounting all you need to do is keep at it. And when you stop for red lights or any other reason don’t hold on to anything to stay mounted. Come to a complete stop and dismount. Then mount when it’s time to go. I found I kept doing that so that I don’t have to dismount but that stopped me from learning the process. Can’t wait to see that drone footage. Keep riding safe brother.
A wasp?! 😮 Yeah, you need them sunglasses 🕶 It's the same prob on motorcycles but worse bc of higher speed. Glad to see you're building confidence. But damn, that thing looks heavy af! Not sure I can handle that in my old age. Lol. And no, you don't need an ND Filter in that light.
The EUC journey is tough at the start but the more you do it and over time you should get more comfortable. I had a similar little crash at low speed on my Onewheel GT not exactly sure what happened but it always makes me feel uncertain about it. I just make sure to gear up so just in case. I am the opposite where the EUC is more of I favor over the Onewheel but both are fun in their own way. I have a big boy EUC that I will have to learn on. The EX30 is a beast but just going to take it slow as usual then work my way up. The lynx is heavy wheel so "with great power comes great responsibility". Stay safe and keep on cruising.
I mounted my wheel with the camera pole extended and held vertically till I got used to having the camera pole in my hand I reset my tilt angle on my wheel a -1° to help with acceleration it also helped and eliminated those wobbles. Safe riding 💪🏾
Just keep practicing. It will click on day, and it will feel completely natural. After you learn to ride pretty well while standing, you can start learning to sit on the wheel. Sitting on the wheel is a lot of fun too.
Me (every time I see him not wearing elbow pads) in his videos: "He's not wearing elbow pads. Wonder why..." TRE: "I'm sure there's some kind of technique to actually falling, you know... elbow pads would probably be essential if that were to occur, which I don't have on right now, but ummmm..." Me: "😅🤣☠
To be honest I need new elbow pads. The 1s I had ripped. Every time I look for more I get torn between which to buy and end up not grabbing. I know I need em. I’m gonna grab some here soon. I know it would be bad if I landed on my elbow. Thank you for the support my friend 🙌🏾
Whats up buddy, yo did you F up ur 360? Doesnt look like its stitching correctly in the first couple mins of ur video, but actually seemed to fix itself a few mins in so nevermind lol. And bro i always wear subglasses mainly just for the frickin nats and mosquitos!! Hate gettin a bug in the eye it burns lile a mofo haha
Pray for me my friend 🤣 no. I’m gonna get me gear up here soon. I been trying to catch up on a few bills so I haven’t been able to get some new elbow pads but I will soon. I did order a mirror. It just hasn’t gotten here yet. Eye protection was in the car. I hear you my friend. I’m gonna tighten up on my gear. Thank you for the support!!
great video
Thank you my friend 🙌🏾

Bonne progression! tu es de retour! 🙂

I don’t know how much you practice carving but practicing carving will definitely improve your stability on the EUC.
Haven’t done much carving. I have to learn how to do it. It’s easy on the Onewheel but EUC is a different monster. Gonna watch a few vids

Still need to purchase those hand wrist mirrors…..😊

Ice video but that road nice, just keep going little by little the more your ride and try thing the better you get at it
I know you've heard this but protect those elbows bro.

Try mounting with the camera in both hands straight in front of you
No eye protection, no elbow pads, no rearview. You're an injury waiting to happen.

Man you gotta get some additional gear. Some better footwear and some elbow pads, at a minimum. You’re doing awesome, dude!
