Do You Ever Just Need To Get Out For A Ride
After days of bad weather and an abundances of politics I needed to get out for a little ride on the EUC. Definitely have grown. Definitely enjoyed it.

Onewheel GT Progression To EUC: Almost Ready To Try The Lynx
we are for sure in the winter season here, full on rain for the next 10 days, get those rides in when ya can :D
Riding on point buddy agree sometimes you just got to ride :)
yeah screw politics, let's enjoy freedom while we still can
For sure!!!
Looking like a pro my brother
Thank you my guy. Trying to get good like you 💯
Congratulations on getting better, I can see it. Do you have plans on learning how to seated ride? God bless
Thank you my friend. I did try 1 day. Couldn’t quite get my but down there 😭 I’ll try again in a couple of days.
Great podcast on your EUC! Broken bones is not fun, especially as we get older. Part of the reason why I dont ride my OW as much 😂
You won’t break a bone. You just gotta be a little mindful my friend. I’ve fallen 5 times and only the first time was bad. I didn’t know what to do. Now with the experience I feel safe as ever on that thing. Keep going home. It gets better 💯
I feel you brother. Sometime you just need to get outside
You know all about it my friend!! You been camping lately?
I’m thinking of modding my board this December… your videos are pushing me towards the enduro tire
Enduro for sure. That’s what I’m going back to next. It’s a sweet tire. I’m on the goat right now but the enduro is still my favorite. I do want to try a slick.
EUC
Out of all the ome wheel vids you keep it a buck love it
Nice
Great video what’s the name of the armour you wear? Cheers
Thank you my friend. Alpinestars Bionic Plus V2.
Dude I am loving your videos. I am a guy in his 60s new to the EUC game. My V8S arrive tomorrow. I will be tuning into your videos. Thanks for the journey you’re on, I join you.
How do you lock up your GT if you need to go inside?
The EUC pro 🎉🎉
Thank you as always my friend. Getting close to grabbing that avata 2
Always great content brotha. Definitely bro lets talk some Ufc. I used to fight, now I'm just training people, but if you like Ufc also check 1 fighting championship as well, they always have explosive cards. My pics for this weekends Ufc Max for sure. I dont think it will be as easy as Volkanov thinks but yeah Max gonna take it. Also picking Witaker +
I think Max gets beat down. Tuporia seems like the real deal. Max’s list of who he’s been is impressive but I feel his time has passed. Wasn’t super impressed with the Gatche fight. We’ll see though. It’s a fight. Anyone could win. I’m betting on tuporia. There are 6 undefeated fighters on this card.
I just got some new low rider rails for my board and can’t wait to see how they ride
Realberg, I’ve had a Lynx for two months as my first wheel but learned to ride it and tearing up all kinds of terrain now, but it took a while to learn. I’ve got all safety equipment so that helps me to try new stuff, jumping off curbs, riding up & down embankments, etc. Sidewalks & parking garages are fun, too. Subscribed & I enjoy your videos.
I love to hear it my friend. Did you drop it at all? It's amazing how much you can learn in 2 months. Keep on shredding and stay safe! 🙏🏾
@@therealbergexperience5640 Yes, crashed a bunch of times, but only once fell all the way down, about 2mph, so didn’t get hurt, the gear saved me! I’m going to ride with a scooter friend, tomorrow. Stay safe!
I absolutely love the OneWheel, but the OW has teeth.
Onewheel is its own whole vibe. I love it too. It just gets a little less attention these days.
Thank you for the video, are you still still off the weed? I have three weeks as of today. I feel a lot better for sure and my brain is firing on all cylinders, I can write better lyrics now so it’s scary to know how dumb I made myself all those years. One thing is I’m extremely sensitive to caffeine now so even one cup of anything my jaw gets all tense and I get crazy anxiety so it stinks that I have to coffee/caffeine also but I’ve been doing decaf tea. I miss policing my emotions but I’m a better person without it 💯
So if you did not get the Lynx what was your 2nd pick? Any other EUCs you fancy?
Every fall on my onewheel has been a road impurity that launched me off the board, happened again yesterday. None of those things would have knocked me off the EUC. I have gotten fed up and am thinking about selling both boards now and getting a small EUC for running local errands.
stay safe brother
Heya boss thanks for sharing another awesome video with us. I really am impressed with my Leaperkim Sherman S. My wheel has over 3500 miles on it now since this May. No issues! My favorite way of listening to music while riding is my JBL Clip 5 bluetooth speaker. You can set it up in the Darknessbot app to increase and decrease in volume as your speed changes. I literally just wear a small rope around my neck and clip it on. Works great.
Stand fast brother. We are here if you need anything. 🍺
Another great video! You're riding smooth as butter.👍😃 I'm hoping to get there one day. Up to 130+ miles on my V8s. Venturing out on longer rides, did a 12 miler yesterday, much farther out my neighborhood. If I can get my left bottom of my foot to stop hurting I could ride even longer. Question, having ridden a V8s and now the Lynx, does the wider wheel feel more stable? Riding on the sidewalk for most of my ride yesterday, even though I didn't have any issues, I would think a wider wheel and suspension would have made the ride way better. Hope to maybe upgrade by Christmas. The Lynx and its counter parts are out of my budgetary range but I'm looking at the Falcon, the S16 Pro and the T4 Pro+ (still doing my research, looking at reviews and who knows what may be out by Christas and what things may be on sale). Be careful out there, keep the great videos coming. (Oh by the way, unfortunately my elbow still is right, got MRI and I did tear my tricep so most likely will need surgery, we'll see after I go to an Orthopedic Doc). Blessings man!
Your package/mail deliveries will no doubt be late for a week or two. I like horseshoe shaped Bluetooth neck speakers. Very comfortable, sound is good, and I can turn up the music and still not not be bothering other people with my music. Which spring did you buy on your wheel?
Bro, be safe out there, By the way my real name is Milton, It's Not a Popular But it is Now, lol
Hi my friend from the other side of the Atlantic. I hope you don't get too affected by this storm down there in The Keys. Having myself lived through Tropical Storm Tracy and the side-swipe from Katrina that took out New Orléans - when we were living in Houston at the time, I can't help but be concerned for all over there. Take good care. Your riding is clearly more natural and confident now, it shows. Keep on riding...... Rick-The-Brit!! 👍
So great seeing how much more comfortable you are with every ride. Stay safe down there. I have family in your area as well as the opposite end of the state.
Also didnt u mean hurricane milton in the title? You got ivan in there
My guy. Thanks for catching that. I gotta switch that up right quick. I’m on it.
@@therealbergexperience5640 Anytime buddy, i caught my mispelled titles like 3 days later haha, so figured id let ya know sooner than that lol
@@Floatin-G-91😂 I feel you. I gotta inspect that thang swapped out quick. Thanks again homie!!
You gettin smoother and smoother on that dark side machine tho man! Killin it
I’m trying Homie! Putting in the work and enjoying every minute 😂 definitely so much fun. So much to learn an I’m looking forward to it!! Thank you my friend!!
@@therealbergexperience5640 f**kin A man, keep at it! I always dig ur vids and watch till the end, your commentary is super funny sometimes
Yoyoo, u should check your sensor plug and blow it out first, then maybe do a close inspection of your sensor/grip tape and see if u can see any like divits from a rock or anything like that. And if it all looks good then maybe u just need a new front footpad.
For sure. I gotta inspect. It’s bout time for some new grip tape anyway. Thanks again my friend!!
@@therealbergexperience5640 Fosho man, mine has done a half ghost a few times and the sensor plug ended up bein covered in dried mud lol so i think that was it.
@@Floatin-G-91 I’ll check that first. I think you might be right.
@@therealbergexperience5640 Yeah its worth a try for sure
Love seeing longer rides like this! You're looking super comfortable on that lynx. As a west coast native I can't image a hurricane like that man, stay safe! Oh yeah, and I had the same problem with my riding boots being too narrow, and I even bought wide riding boots. What helped is getting a pair of boot stretchers on ebay for like $13. the leather in my boots might stretch better than the alpine stars but it still might be worth a try.
That’s the exact problem. That are too narrow. I love the look and if I could get em broke I’d use em every time. I’m gonna have to try the stretchers. Definitely feeling more comfortable on the Lynx. We’re safe down here. Think the storm surge might be a little tough but nothing too major. More central Florida has to worry. Thank you for everything my guy 🙌🏾💯
Stay safe bro
Yessir. Got my last little ride in and I’m in the house now. It’s windy out there. Hope all is well my friend 🙌🏾
great video
Ow is cooler and easier to ride, but otherwise, euc beats in every other category.
Now u need to learn how to ride seated and make a video about seated riding.
You and your family ok brotha, did hurricane affect you ? 🙏🏾
Thanks for sharing again. Great video and great pointers! As you know I started with the V8s. Been riding quite a bit lately (after my injury), but still under 100 miles, just under 78. Longer riding sessions, 5 to 7 miles each time. Feeling better and better the more I ride. Turning getting a little better. Feeling a little more stable the more I ride as well. Been pushing the speed a bit too the more comfortable I feel, to my surprise I actually got the 20 mph beep and tilt back a few times yesterday. Still riding in parking lots for now but pretty big ones (nearby mega church parking lot and elementary school parking lot) with sidewalks and walking paths around the buildings where I can hone my wheel control better too. I'm going to try to stay patient to 100 miles before I take it out for a longer side walk ride around the neighborhood and eventually around town. My biggest challenge now is my left foot arch hurting and foot position. It seems (I could be wrong) that if you have a wheel with pads "perfectly positioned" it would help with consistent foot placement, is that true? I feel like I wiggle my feet around too much the first few feet of the ride after mounting to get them in decent position. Anyway, safe riding out there.
Sometimes I’m looking to learn but get schooled instead. Eventually, the wind will bend to your experience… cars, not so much.
I have the same alpine stars chest/shoulder combo. It's fantastic. Peace of mind for 20mile commutes on GTS. I don't think it would save my collarbone from impact, but I think the pads would encourage me to relax into a roll.
👍 Go gear! Did you happen to see Duf losing an inner tube and falling in traffic? Be careful out there.
Yessir 🙌🏾
I think with a bit more time, you would gotten it on the Lynx without the smaller wheel. But you not wanting to damage the Lynx but dropping it and the weight placed doubts in your mind. It worked out in the end but I am confident you would have gotten it. I’m like you and would certainly take the challenge of learning something new and just get the big wheel and take my lumps on getting it. When I learned how to ride my hover board, I took to it quickly. Yes it has two wheels but mounting and getting the mindset of using your eyes and brain to move, turn and stop, should be somewhat in the same world.
I had a hoverboard too 🙌🏾they were fun. Took me a little bit to get it on that too. Kinda miss it. I probably would’ve got it on the Lynx. The V8s was perfect though. I definitely would’ve dropped the Lynx a few times. I dropped the V8s 4 times. No damage though since it was padded up. All in all I’m just happy these days. What seemed like an impossible mission is a thing of the past. Lynx feels so good and I’m still learning every day. I know the best days have yet to come. The journey is a fun 1. Thank you for the support my friend 🙌🏾
You know, people try to ride Harley motorcycles as their first motorcycle, you're free to make that choice. It doesn't mean it's a good idea. I know that the Patton's weight and I'm assuming other Veteran wheel's is not very noticeable once riding. But controlling 90lbs with one leg when mounting and dismounting is not trivial.
Do you still wear Elks ritual aprons in the IBPOEW???
❤
Floatershack has great items. Love the look of your wheel
U don't need your hand s on e u c just keep riding
