To convert cm into m and here it is centimetres ^2 and we have to convert it into meters ^2 therefore it is divided by 10000 because 1m = 100 cm therefore 1cm^2 = 10000 m^2

Lift is created by the difference in air pressure on the top and bottom of the wings. Airplanes also have engines that help create thrust which pushes the airplane forward through the air.
