distance Is double and its square. i.e square of 2

as he said , the distance between the objects is doubled (i.e...2 meter) and F = 6N is given.
so according to formula, F = ( m1 * m2 ) / (r)^2, where r = distance between the objects.
so, F = 6N / (2)^2
=> F = 6N / 4
=> F = 1.5 N .
Remember , the distance between the objects is " doubled. which is 2m and then do the whole square (^2) ."

I think the Gravitational force in between two objects at all distances never becomes zero, may be exceedingly negligible amount of force, but never Zero. The Gravitational force in the centre of the Earth is Zero, is irrelavant here.
