Madonna isn't one of the "best female artists all of the time", lol. She is one of the best Selling artists of all time. Her sex doesn't have anything to do with that fact. (I should know, I own most of her albums on cassette AND cd, and my favorite Mdna songs on a playlist that is PUBLIC on my channel.) But this isn't the Madonna I grew up with; the Madonna with whom I grew up stopped doing these childish things and put her clothes back on in the 2000s, same as Prince and Tina Turner. I'm just tired of interviewers like Jimmy just sitting there fawning over Madonna and allowing her to control the interview. One of the best interviews with Madonna was done by (the late) Terry Wogan for the BBC. It worked because he wasn't unnerved or intimidated by her and his style of interviewing actually made her interesting to listen to.
This, with Jimmy's over excitement and flaying about and Madonna resorting to the usual (tired) shock tactics was just 12 odd minutes of nothing.

So true. Fallon has some talent, but interviewing is not part of that. I rarely watch these late night talk shows because they're so superficial and cheesy most of the time with lame, softball questions and guests with no gravitas. Madonna just comes across as self-indulgent and self-centered in a really annoying way, here trying to put on a little "shock" of the audience out of childish desire to be naughty.

I'm sure she's intelligent and (obviously) one of the most influential artists ever. But that whole exchange after the 'adult convo' comment really felt like a teenage girl trying to be edgy, and a teenage boy trying to look cool.

I watched a recently posted interview she did promoting WE on Anderson Cooper's show 10 years ago where she appeared so poised, secure, and truly evolved. In the 10 years since she seems to be a shell of her former self, so desperate for relevance and unattainable youthfulness. It's not the surgical enhancements per se, rather, the poor quality of work she seems to have settled for. That, combined with the immature behavior makes her appear really clownish. It's just amazing that with all of the wealth and power she has accrued, she has allowed herself to morph into this vapid, messy spectacle. I NEVER would have dreamed this is what would have become of this person.

Growing up in the 80’s and listening to her music Along with Michael Jackson was a great experience! Real raw talent that was pushing so many boundaries for its time. Her music brings me so many awesome memories, memories I will always cherish!! This woman is a GEM 💎

What I don't appreciate is hanging onto facets of our youth that diminish the beauty of the natural aging process.
