    Alright this wheel looks extremely promising. It’s everything I’ve been looking for for the past year.

    Nice one Kevin, we’re all in danger now of getting poorer because of your excellent review 😂 Seriously, I think this may prove to be even more popular than the Sherman S over time, it looks like Leaperkim have absolutely nailed it with the Patton. The torque of the increased voltage coupled with killer suspension and stability afforded with the well balanced if fair weight, it’s nuimbleness with the ‘not-so-small’ smaller diameter tyre, the sheer robust build quality and design features such as the adjustable jump toe pads just seem to work beautifully together. Thanks very much Kevin, great demonstration/review. 👍🏻

    Great review! I’ve been waiting for a smaller suspension wheel since getting my v12HT. This wheel might be the one!

    Wobbles are caused by not good adapted to the wheel. It is a muscular issue, not a wheel issue.

    Thank you for the review. Patton is looking like it will be a great wheel. Have you done any adjustmenrs to the suspension? IIn a few of the shots it seemed like the compression may have been set a little soft and the rebound a little too fast causing a bit of pogo effect. I'm curious if your impression of the wheel's handling would change if you tested with different suspension settings. I always enjoy your videos - thank you for another great review!

      I'm thinking with the S you get more watt and wh for your money.
      But for trails or nimble riding this seems interesting.

    Great review. I have the Kinsong 16x, and I am considering getting the Patton- What wheel did you have before the Patton?

  • @masterblasterofdisaster
    @masterblasterofdisaster Год назад +1

    15:03 when you step off the wheel, you can see how stiff your suspension is. Either go down to 58lbs or you need more sag in the suspension setup, otherwise you're too high up the wheel thus causing all the issues you're having with brake wobbles, turning etc.

    I'm used to Inmotion. This Patton seems very wide at the top. Forcing you to stand wide.

    It has ride quality spoken of multiple times, it has build quality in terms of materials and design elements and it has the power to go up hills like no other. $3k US is same as Kingsong s22 with same battery. Fastace looks to be a good hydraulic suspension. Weight is from battery case and all metals but I don’t like that this review says “top heavy” though that may be due to preload or too heavy a shock rating? Maybe for your weight the 62 is too strong??

    How are the stock pedals?

    • @dirt.surfer
      @dirt.surfer Год назад

      Same poop the Sherman s has. For the price of this it is a crime. I use ironman pedals and that should be the standard equivalent quality and spikes when your spending 5 to 6k on these devices. I'm in Canada that's the currency cost for this. Probably retails for 5500 and after tax your at 6k, then you need to burn the pedals and spent 450 Canadian to get some ironmans. Hope that answers your question.

    The Professor strikes again! T4 killer?
    Is the rumor true, that Inmotion will deliver a smaller version of the V13? Thank you for your review.

    • @dirt.surfer
      @dirt.surfer Год назад +1

      It is a t4 killer yes. But the price tag will be the determining factor. In Canada t4 about 3200 plus tax, this Patton I don't know for certain but willing to bet around 4700 to 5300 just my guess. Both are great 16 inch off road wheels, only time will tell on the Patton, but being a 126 volt it may be worth the price.

      It is absolutely not a T4 killer since the price has nothing to do so it is absurd to compare the 2 ... and more with 10kg of difference ...

      suspension wheels might be more prone to feeling top heavy due to the design.

  • @pierrelhussiez1865

    Help me to understand, I read this wheel have 18 tire (like the s18 and Sherman...) , Why we call this a 16 wheel?

    • @masterblasterofdisaster
      @masterblasterofdisaster Год назад +4

      Patton has a 12" rim ( like all 16" wheels) but because it's wide it can take larger size tires, so the physical diameter of 12x3 tires is around 17" to 17.5" so Leaperkim just rounds it up to 18" and calls it that.

    I ride a T4 & ya, I find it very nimble. Its my offroad wheel for doing gnarly mtb single tracks. Patton looks good but it seems very heavy & I fail to find a need for a 16" cruiser. I thinkk the 5kg light Commander Mini might be a better option
