Hey cool, a capacitor in a charge controller, i was right instead of many wind turbines spaced out, capacitors would charge up and then release energy when voltage drop acurse to boost production. Thank for the video
@ModernUkrainianHomestead Why, there supossed to be quieter. someone will crack the production, my theory is thier always trying to create lift on the outside if they coud creat the lift on the insde ( which would be tuff to make the surface longer, maybe a matt finish ! ) thier would be no horizontal gravity.
Did you get the power equivalent to the power of a wind turbine with this regulator? In Chinese controls, for example, 1500w is promised, but they waste power on the brake, even though the batteries are not full because apparently they cannot withstand the promised power
have seen 1.1 kW on it out of my FT-1000L (2.5 m in diameter) wind turbine sitting on it now. It also was running a bit earlier for about a week with the bigger 3.2 m dia FT-2000L2 wind turbine, and there I was able to capture 1.3 kW on some gust, so yes, the controller is definitely worth it. reason I changed the turbine is simple - my FT-2000L2 actually can shoot way more, up to 2.8 kW - so I moved it to a more powerful controller though, just in case.
@@ModernUkrainianHomestead thanks for the reply. I just got this controller and I hadn't ordered this model, maybe I'll dare to connect it for a while until I get the right one
Nice Videos! Qestion: My Battery Bank is fully charged at 58V Is it Possible to set it to this Voltage? And i will (If possible) use a "M6 48V" 2KW Turbine Will This work? Regards from Rainy Windy Western Norway
thanks. I guess yes, you can always chose one of three battery predefined settings: for GEL, for LiFePO4, or for Ternary Lithium. Or, if that's still not good - use the fourth "custom" option, however in that case you will have to carefully set each of the battery parameters yourself, and more convenient to do this is from the app. about M6 - it will definitely work, as M6 will get 1 kW at about 11 m/s wind, so just get the biggest version of this controller (1500/1500) which has the 33A limit of current for each of the channel. so if wind only and no solar is used, it'll be capable to bear roughly 33x58 = 1914 watts of power from the wind turbine. and yes, I'd love to visit your country some day. a friend of mine was at your place last year - he's impressed the most still, and would like to repeat that trips more often.

yep, looks like that is exactly the case
Cool little vids to watch on (thisismax) my theory on the vawt has been halved from 4 blade to 2, which would be alot easier to make.
why vawt?
it won't produce much - why even look at that side?

Copper thing is inductor

дякую, теж дивився на цей контроллер, але якщо його RS порт працює тільки з його сервером то не дуже мені підходить. Ще раз дякую за огляд!
