Man, Stallone is so freaking great in this. It's probably the best performance if his career. I love this Rocky, the way he carries all the memories and the people he's lost along the way, but still full of heart.
Stallone's finest hour (I kid you not). That is, after the first Rocky. Stallone was born to play this most iconic and beloved role, sufficiently and gloriously lionized as it has been (and will always be). Poignant, endearing, compellingly hard hitting (literally) and enjoyable this movie most assuredly was, along with the whole Rocky saga. What a character, what a creation, what a movie, what a series, what a legacy (and a sublime one at that)!
Rocky: "How do you know all this?"
Adonis: "I've seen all the movies - except #5, we don't talk about that one"

I have a great Idea for Creed 2. Since Carl Weathers is too old to reprise his role for Apollo Creed. Record Stallone and Carl Weathers doing a Radio Interview during the events of Rocky 3 or Rocky 4 talking about the upcoming fight. It would be a good way to get another fresh look at their relationship, talking about training for the fight, laughing together, and have them talk about how they went from enemies to best of friends or something like that. Have Adonis and Rocky listen to it together.You heard it here first! get this idea to Ryan Coogler!

Peter Petruzzi it’s not that he is too old he was used in Creed in archived footage. They had Mickey come back in Rocky 5 in flash back scenes with Burgess Meredith who was 82 years old at time of filming his scenes.
The movie is about Adonis Creed not about all Rocky and Apollo. Creed 2 will be based more on Adonis and his career along with his family along with his life leading up to fight with Victor Drago son of Ivan Drago from Ivan Drago with Dolph Lundgren reprising his role as Ivan.

Apollo by all means was winning the second fight. He outscored him and out hit him. It was Apollo's fault wanting to go out trying to get the knock out. Which ultimately was his demise since Rocky knocked him out.
To say "Time" did it, is just not true. Afterall, supposedly Apollo won the secret 3rd fight.

Can they please bring back Dolph Lundgren and Mr T as Ivan Drago and James "Clubber" Lang respectively. Even if it is cameos or something. So we can see what happened to them. That would be great. Maybe they can have drinks with Rocky or even be antagonists like in the Rocky 3 and 4 movies... Just a thought

SARA LJ Adonis is the illegitimate son of Apollo Creed. Apollo was married to his wife Mary Anne when he slept with another woman and fathered Adonis. If watched the movies Adonis was born after the death of Apollo who was killed in Rocky 4 by Drago. Drago’s son will fight Adonis in Creed 2 with Dolph Lundgren coming back to play Ivan Drago. Apollo had two kids with his wife Mary Anne and they were featured in Rocky 2.

there is a new of these because we the people who pass hard times need someone to reflect our lives, to show us how to fight and to face live. The world changes and so do our problwms, so the fight changes and so a film to reflect the fight needs to be done, to keep helping us to fight it

John C actually Rocky Balboa and Creed are better then Rocky 5 and Stallone didn’t like the finished product of Rocky 5 so made Rocky Balboa in which he planned to end it then but was persuaded by director Ryan Coogler to be involved with Creed and have the plot go more back story Adonis and his life with being the son of late heavy weight champion Apollo Creed. Stallone himself stepped back from being the lead actor to let Michael B Jordan be the lead and not be director. Even for Creed 2 now he is just acting, writing and producing
