    I feel like you NEED to watch the first 3 in order to better understand this one. The way I saw it was the Apes twisting Caesars Legacy ignoring that he did have compassion for humans but never failed to put his apes first. So we see Noah learn of Caesar and begins to adapt the compassionate traits yet I don’t think proxima was wrong either about humans being selfish and wanting to put them back in cages. I thought it was interesting to see two sides of interpretation of Caesars beliefs and wish they expanded more on it .

    • @JessChillN_
      @JessChillN_ 2 месяца назад +1

      Exactly and now they don’t know how to read so they’ll need Mae to be the bridge along with Noah and Cesar’s books. Cesar probably explains that in 2 it was really just Kobas fault and 3 was a bad human that the army was hunting anyway the Apes never started with any violence, he probably even says how the virus came about. Because Will his human father tried to cure his grandfather of a disease

    I'm unsure how you can review this movie when you haven't watched the previous trilogy. This one is a follow-up and in a timeline that is generations later. Like many new movie series, the first is usually slower due to world-building. It was the same way for other movie series like Dune. Hopefull, the next movies follow suit and get better. Yikes, I don't know who the actress playing Mae is!

    I don't know what they're on about when it comes to slow pacing? Do they just want nonstop action? That sounds like a pretty shallow movie. Most of the slow moments are meant to build the world up. Obviously this is a set up for a new trilogy. I saw the movie too and I feel like its a solid 8/10 for me and that is because the movie is really REALLY good. The reason I have it at an 8/10 is because I felt the villain was underutilized and we could have done with more time focused on him. Other than that, the rest of the movie is pretty solid.
    Mae also being able to just... seemingly know how to get into this weapons vault, know where to find the key she was looking for, and having the knowledge to make high explosives also was just odd. It's been 300 years and yet she acts like she used to work at this vault or something. Also its been 300 years and satellites still work? How?

    They kind of messed the story up a bit though when it came to these places where they cared for humans, Ceaser never did that before he died in the previous film and a lot of what this new orangatang was saying Ceaser did never happened. I get throwing a bit of story in there but when you had 3 previous films showing exactly what Ceaser has been doing up till his death in the previous film it kind of throws me off.

If this was the only post-Creaser Trilogy movie, I'd be okay with it as an epilogue and an homage to the original Planet of The Apes from the 60s, but what I will give you guys credit for is that I'm scared what the sequels are gonna be.
    I want there to be an uneasy alliance between Ape and Man if they go full speed ahead on this trilogy, I don't want another nihilistic ending, because we'd be repeating the elements we saw in War of The Planet of The Apes, and honestly, Time Travel is stupid for this version of the series, it would ruin the importance of what Creaser did in this series compared to the original canon.
