Introducing to the new Screaming Banshee - Shockwave safety horn for use on motorcycles and cars! This video gives an overview to the crowdfunding community that is helping us manufacture this awesome device at an affordable price.

Unless this has already been addressed I see one design flaw and that's that if I need to go for the horn then that means there's already a problem and I can't be waiting for the loader horn to kick in, I need it at the point that I need to hit the horn. Other then that it seams like a damn nice horn.
Added this horn to my 2008 BMW K1200GT a couple of years ago. It is LOUD and a life saver!
The new horn is 123 Db, BUT we measure this very conservatively. Side by side it is easily louder than a Stebel, Wolo or FIAMM air horn.

This is an amazing invention. My Harley Fat Boy is Big, Fast heavy and Loud, but the stock horn is a joke. This horn is screamingly loud and fits nicely just below the steering head where the stock horn was. Yes its bigger, but it looks fine.
Jeffrey Zucker put the factory exhaust back on your bike and get the Banshee 😉

Delou56 - it will fit your Triumph but not under the beak - my concern would be contact if the suspension bottoms out. Possibly mounting it in front of the engine at the top, this may be a good place.

I want this for my 1978 puch maxi luxe moped that is being converted to a 70cc from a 49cc. The horn system is on a 6 volt one. Any thoughts on what I could do? I have to register it as a motorcycle but I want a loud horn
You might need some kind of transformer to reduce voltage
Hi Peter, Today, i installed a Delkavic 350mm exhaust onto my Kawasaki Versys LT1000 in the hope to stop or delay crazy motorists from hitting me. Sadly to say, what i installed isn't that much louder then the stock exhaust. So, instead of purchasing another, i thought I'd purchase a horn instead. Very interested in your air-horn and will check out your "kickstarter project."
Richard Ratahi a loud exhaust will not help you, just annoys your neighbors. Banshee or Denali is the way to go.

Hello, I'm having a slight problem with getting the Shockwave horn to function correctly. Does the yellow wire have to be spliced into the lowbeam and which shunt do I use?
I'm not associated with these guys but I was researching the product and found you an answer: Yellow Wire - Connect this to the
High Beam wire on your headlight using the supplied Tap Splice
terminal. Note: This is not needed for the horn to function but if not
connected make sure yellow wire cannot short to chassis.

I would buy 100 units if you gave me exclusive distributorship for Europe or countries you are not in near Europe. I ride a hayabusa everyday and the amount of near misses a serious horn is needed. Be seen be heard saves the lives of motorcyclists. I am looking to reinvent road safety to another level especially for motorcyclists.

james korn Yes, of course.
Toggle switches usually aren't legal in most jurisdictions but you can use a push button anywhere.
james korn oh yeah, but I would use a “push bottom” momentary switch.

Is the horn waterproof? My bike is naked and it will get wet, I don't want to buy it if its not waterproof.
Mr Fathead Interesting August 30th 2019 came home from work on my 1200GS in a thunderstorm and my control module got soaked the horn came on and blasted all the way home...burned up the relay and the air horn. Very sad 😕

Blah blah blah, it is still illegal to use a horn no matter what. A motorcyle horn is loud enough and this banshee horn is more of a distraction to all other motorists in the vicinity than a safety device.
Just tell these crazy motorcyclists to ride responsibly, stick to the speed limit and stay alert, act early and slow down because I've been driving for nearly 50 years and out of thousands of motorcyclists since 1978, I have not seen one who would ride responsibly. Have a look at them yourself these days, they speed, tear through between cars, get in front of you at the traffic lights, knock your external mirrors, do wheel-stands, etc., typical mad rider style. And you want banshee horns installed on their motorcycles? You're just as bad as they are.

Sorry but, you see a very very small picture. When you're on the road next time watch motorcyclists tearing at high speed, watch the shit they do that car drivers don't, including excessive exhaust noise. I mean, do I have to repeat myself, or do I have to remind you that no motorcyclist respects the law? And in this case of having a loud horn and using it, it's called annoyance because loud horns startle other motorists and that can affect those with a weak heart. So, under any circumstances horns are not to be used as a way of warning other motorists to '...get out of the way, I am coming...' so that they can continue to flout the law and speed, tear through cars and race to the next set if traffic light. Besides, with modern cars these days that are fully insulated against noise that not ever the wind noise is heard from the closed windows and with blaring music inside, you'd think they will hear a horn? LOL. They don't even hear a bloody siren of emergency vehicles that are right behind them trying to get through. And yes, it's illegal to blast horn, except in a critical or emergency situation. The reason motorcycles collide with cars is that they are narrower than cars and hard to see at a distance, especially at sunrise and late afternoon when you get the blinding sun in your face, and when a car turns right or left, the motorcyclists are already near them and about to collide. What does that tell you? Of course, it's the speed the motorcyclist was travelling, one second it was 300 metres away, the next, he's right in front of you. I rest my case, mate.

It is NOT illegal to use your horn! There are bad riders as well as bad drivers out there. To believe otherwise is dangerous and asinine. As a trained MSF instructor I can tell you that these same assclowns you refer to as skating around the law on their bikes drive cars with the same disregard for others on the road. Anything that gets the attention of those brain dead zombies is a good thing. Specifically "Make yourself conspicuous and be seen"
