Spicy nacho used to be my absolute favourite! In high school ( 11 years ago now) we used to make sandwiches with ham, cheese, mustard and spicy nachos Doritos for crunch. Sooooo good 🤣
My daughter and I like the Cool Ranch, she calls them Sprinkle Chips 😄. We like nacho too, but reach for the blue bag more times than not when in the mood for doritos.
What I am feeling, is that you find a lot of different flavours of many different things. And even if the new flavours can be good and epic, I still often go back to the original basic flavour 😄

Doritos were actually first made in Disneyland! Frito Lay had a restaurant that was constantly throwing out stale tortillas. Someone suggested frying them and selling them as chips rather than throwing them away. And those were the first Doritos.
Definitely got it right!! Nacho cheese are the best! I also think that package size matters too - the small individual bags are more nacho cheese flavored then the bigger bags....not sure why but it matters 😀

Speaking of mistakes that don’t go away… the 3D Doritos are like the Herpes of of the Doritos.. they made a mistake, the mistake went away for awhile, and now they’re coming back..
I actually like the Flamin’ Hot Limon ones. I can’t sit and eat a whole bag of them but in small batches they are in a weird way fun to eat because they are so intense. Post Malone endorsed those when they came out and his alter ego in the commercials was Post Limon.
My favorite are the midnight jalapeno Doritos. Used to buy the big bags like crazy years ago. They were spicy and great. But I like the Nacho cheese and cool ranch a lot too. I don't like ranch dressing but the cool ranch has just a touch that I can handle it and I love them. You should try a Lay's episode. They have way more and interesting flavors

In the UK Doritos brought out a mixed bag with Lemon blast, and Honey Bbq Ribs doritos all mixed together in one bag. They were the best!!!! They also do a lime flavour dorito over here which is also delicious!!!
Interesting how different countries have flavours the other doesn't have. Here in Canada we have Zesty Cheese (Orange bag), Jalapeno & Cheddar (Green bag), Sweet Chili Heat (Black bag), Bold BBQ (Purple bag), Ketchup (vintage looking bag like the taco flavour in this video). For a while we had Roulette which was a big mixed really hot or just regular nacho flavoured Doritos.

Sooo different in the UK. Red packet is chilli heatwave, orange is cheese, and blue is original, brown is bbq and light yellow is salted.

Here in Canada, we also have Dill Pickle Doritos and a Zesty Cheese Dorito that are both really good. The dill pickle ones are actually in my top 3!!
