What an amazing memory to alway reflect back upon. That’s what’s so amazing about filming your hunts.
Being a part of the reunion was truly priceless. Ty killing that bull was just meant to be. Such a fun morning in the elk woods.
The support all of you are showing our brothers at BRO is so fantastic to see. Tons of positivity and support for some of the best dudes around 👍🏼
    Montana is gonna be unreal🙌🏼

The emotion Kody showed was awesome! Loved it, good friends hunting together is incredible and getting to experience them having that reunion was great. I watch every episode with my son who is currently 14, his good buddy started hunting with us 2 years ago. I hope they get the experiences that Kody and Ty have had. I am 51 and the experience and being with friends and family is more important to me than getting to shoot something myself . I wouldn’t pass one 😀 but if I can be caller for those two boys and they get to be shooters I am happy to never kill another elk. Keep up the great work!

I totally understand the emotional response when you get to spend time with your buds.
In 2011 my hunting buddy Ronny, stepped out of his truck and said he didn't feel well, moments later he was dead from a massive heart attack. He was 43. In 2013 I was diagnosed with stage 3 b colon Cancer. I'm now Cancer free and I'm going hunting next year. It will be very hard without his laughing at me, but the one thing I do know, is he will be with me in spirit...
Cody, you're a good man, I may never meet you in person, but can say, Ty is lucky to have you in his life.
I love and respect you brother. God bless..

I love seeing the true emotions that you guys show. Back in March I was diagnosed with Squamous cell carcinoma cancer. My doctor took a softball size tumor out of my neck. Being 46 years old I thought my life was over. Having a wonderful wife of 25 years and 4 kids helped me get through the radiation and chemo. One other thing that helped me get through it was a best friend which I have had since the 5th grade. We have hunted and fished together for 34 plus years. I could not imagine him hunting without me this October during the Utah general season deer hunt. After six straight weeks of radiation treatments everyday and chemo we beat it. Last month I was told I was clean of that horrible disease. We were able to spend the whole hunt together having the best time of our lives. I understand the true meaning of having a best friend to hunt with. I don’t know if I could ever do it without him. Shoutout to Jason Olsen for being there for me and my family. #bestfriendsforever

Really, really you guys. Here I am 63 years old and have tears in my eyes. It was a totally insane hunt, so many bulls,so much action. After rifle hunting for the past few years my buddy Chad and I have been talking about getting our archery stamp so we can not just elongate our hunting season, but to get more into experiencing nature the way only bow hunting can provide. Well, I am happy to tell you that we all might be running into each other this coming bow season because as of about an hour ago, chad and I finished our bow hunter safety classes and got our Bowhunter Safety Certificate of Completion! I have become so excited about this that I have been watching all of your hunting videos for the past week and am completely consumed by the awesome experiences you all have on your hunts. Great Job!!! To all you other would-be bowhunters out there I say, "Stop thinking about it! Go get your training, practice your shooting, and DRAW A BOW!!!

And now he has been able to get out to Idaho the last 4 years in a row during bow season and if I get enough side work by July I'm finally going to get to hunt elk with my best friend once AGAIN.... I don’t miss an episode, but tonight my wife watched with me. Ty is a friend of hers from childhood and high school. We were both in tears. I am a bit envious because I love to archery hunt and do most of the time by myself, because I don’t have any archery friends or family. To have a brotherhood bond with people you love and care for share the elk woods and that experience together is worth more to me than any money in the world. Congrats to everyone on that mountain that day. That is an experience you will never forget.

Cody I know how you feel reuniting with an old friend. Its partly because of yall that I got to spend time in wy in October this year with a few of my old time friends from the military. Haven't seen one of them in over 20 years. Also reunited with my best friend who got me started in hunting back in 1989. We reunited and had a great time on the mountain for 4 days. we didn't tag out, but on the last day we did get into them. Your words helped me put things into perspective "Get out there and do it! " So......we did and no regrets! Well one regret....wish we had more vacation time so we could have stayed longer! Hoping to get back at it in 2019. Thank yall for helping push me (and them) into motivating ourselves to put in for a wy draw. We had to drive and meet from all over the US but it was SO worth it. I drove 16 hrs from Texas. My best friend drove from Minnesota. His son joined us and flew in from Virginia, and my other AF buddy made the trip from Iowa. We all met up in Wy for a great hunt even if we didn't get to notch a tag. Looking forward to the rest of the series, and wanted to take this minute to say thank YALL!!!

Kody, I'm just one more repeating what's already been said on here but thank you for including the footage of your raw emotion recounting your working through relational challenges regarding Ty. We all have these situations and I'm no different. Hit me right in the feels. Choked up for sure. I love seeing how Jesus is moving in and through you guys. Can't say enough about how much I appreciate what you guys are doing, even if from afar in Arizona. :) Many blessings to you and yours. Thank you for stepping out in faith and doing what you do. I pray you, your wives, and your children are blessed for many generations for your sacrifices.

Great episode guys. I love the brotherhood and friendships you guys share, It's priceless. I use to hunt every day I had a chance to go, but I haven't been hunting for a few years now because my best friend was my son, and a few years ago I got him a new dirtbike for an early Christmas gift and he was killed on it about 5 1/2 weeks before Christmas, on Nov.14. He was 17. and It completely destroyed me.
I love your show, and I can't wait for the next upload.

the way you had to break down and just let it out made me tear up man, it was similar for me and my twin brother. I mean we grew up in the backcountry in Montana hunting together and with my father. After my niece was born we grew apart which is understandable he is focused on his little family, it's hard being out there with my best friend. Moments like that when you get to hunt with your brother after a long while are pretty emotional. I miss the old days just as you said. Thanks for the video guys it means the world to see this and getting me emotional as well!

I just got to say that what you guys have together is priceless! I'm out here in North Dakota hunting on my own With Me Myself and I and it is very hard to talk myself into doing it day after day. With that said I think it is your videos that keep me pumped up and excited to keep going out there. I think every one of you guys have said it it's a game of inches! Thanks for your videos guys

Incredible EP, the raw emotion Kody showed on the walk out and then the embrace really choked me up fellas, my best mates in life are hands down the ones who I share backpack hunts with year on year, time and time again. The immensely profound respect and bond that we hunters who undergo those true wilderness hunts in adverse conditions are as close as (if not closer than) blood brothers. Thank you for taking me on another one of your special hunting adventures. They are so good to keep us kiwi and aussie hunters sane during the off-season. Cheers, Jamie. Ps would be awesome if any of you ever did a backpack hunt into New Zealand's Southern Alps for public land chamois, thar, red stag or wapiti.
