Except for the Mercedes S550 sedan that I currently own, this car (my 1977 Peugeot 504) was the most comfortable car that I have ever owned, and at a fraction of the cost of what a 1977 Mercedes would have sold for ack then. Sorry I traded it in; I would still love to have it today in 2021.
It's not a legend : my father sold our 504 diesel station wagon at 120 000 km to a peasant friend, who reached 1 million km before the car finally failed. And many 504s reached that famous million of km, they were just unbreakable.
