- Dieser 504 GL mit Schiebedach kommt aus zweiter Hand und die gesamte Laufleistung beträgt erst 56.292 Kilometer. Der erste Besitzer war ein Franzose aus Paris und er hatte das Fahrzeug eigens für sein Ferienhaus in Portugal gekauft. Dort wurde das Auto in einer trockenen Garage abgestellt und nur im Urlaub gefahren. Das Auto wurde bis etwa 1990 als Urlaubsauto genutzt und dann in der Garage abgedeckt stehen gelassen. 2012 wurde der Peugeot vom Sohn eines Freundes des Erstbesitzers gekauft und von diesem 2017 zur Beseitigung von Standschäden in einer Werkstatt gebracht. Nach 17 Jahren Standzeit wurden unter anderem Bremsen, Reifen, Fahrwerksgummis und Auspuff erneuert. Außerdem wurde der Motor, trotz seiner geringen Laufleistung, geöffnet und vor der Wiederinbetriebnahme aufgearbeitet. Auch die Karosserie wurde äußerlich im originalen Farbton vert torrent 1394 nachlackiert. Da der Motor zur Aufarbeitung ausgebaut war, wurde auch gleich der Motorraum, ebenfalls im originalen grau, nachlackiert. Aufgrund der geringen Laufleistung, der Tatsache, dass das Auto überwiegend in der dunklen Garage abgestellt wurde und alle Sitze ab dem Neuzustand mit Fellen abgedeckt waren, ist die Innenausstattung völlig original und absolut intakt erhalten. Wir haben den Wagen auf eigenen Achsen nach Berlin überführt und nach der Ankunft in unserer Werkstatt gründlich untersucht sowie bereits einige Dinge aufgearbeitet. Unser Preis für diesen ganz außergewöhnlich guten 504 beinhaltet die Beseitigung der gefundenen Mängel, eine Inspektion sowie eine neue Hauptuntersuchung und ein H-Gutachten. Das detaillierte Angebot können wir Ihnen gerne zukommen lassen. Auf Wunsch können wir den Wagen mit originalen, frisch mit Pulver beschichteten Amil-Leichtmetallrädern ausliefern. Yes, I remember the only car more comfy than my dad's ol'504 was my aunt's Mercedes w123, and no modern car I have experienced has come close to any of them

@@monk3yboy69 Jewish businessmen in Turkey, perhaps politically preferred this vehicle, perhaps because of peugeot's price-performance relationship. Frankly, the backseat of the 504 was also extremly comfortable.
So many memories of my childhood! My dad had 3 504 in Argentina. Watching these images I've remembered the interior (only the front seats were different). The 3rd we had was dark blue with black leather seats, a 1978 2000SE. The interior lights, the roof handle, the ventilation stuff at the dashboard, the dashboard itself... so nice and roomy, it has the smoothest ride... lovely car!

Friends of my parents had a Peugeot 504 in white in the 1970s. They bought it brand new. The engines are very good, and it is a reliable car.

Ich habe ende der siebziger Jahre eine Lehre bei Peugeot gemacht. Zylinderlaufbuchsendichtung erneuern, Motor komplett zerlegen ohne ihn aus zu bauen, ca. 2 Tage, oder komplett zusammengerostete Fahrzeuge, die wir nicht mehr aus der Werkstatt gelassen haben, Alltag. Umso mehr freut es mich das offenbar einige Fahrzeuge überlebt haben. Sehr gut. Meine Jugend...
C’est la meilleure voiture de série fabriquée sur Terre, ligne magnifique avec ses courbes et son coffre cassé, habitacle spacieux, confortable et bien dessiné, moteur robuste, puissant et facile d’entretien, suspension souple, très bonne visibilité, direction souple. Conduire une 5o4 c’est comme être en présence d’un homme de grande valeur.

hello and greatings to the us. well we do have customers in the us, including a peugeot fan in la and quite like the fact that french culture goes via berlin in orher countries and even other continents. but what we appreciate most is when people from france give us their car to be restored in berlin or when we sell the french cars back to france. this has happened to this green 504. we got it from france, overhauled it and sold it back to france. isn‘t that sustainable keeping things on the road rather than producing new through away plastic cars? and now we will launch climate neutral e-fuels in europe and i am sure others will follow. however thanks for your comment. gruss roland kayser
Fantastic cars and so comfortable. I had a 1978 GL but in 1983 and it was excellent. Sold it for a Ford Granada which was good but not as good as the Peugeot.
hello. the granada was fine but decades later we discover that the 504 was a car close to perfection. no wheak points at all and once it was conserved it could aleays be repaired and go for ever. its robustness and reliability is a legend and much better than any mercedes. have a godd eater weekend. roland kayser

For me, it was a car so ugly, it was actually beautifull, the Truimph TR 7 conjured up the same feeling. As far as reliability goes, the 504 and its predesessor, the 404 were simply the most reliable cars ever built, my Dad owned both of these.
I drove some of these as a teen when I was a parking valet during college in the 80's.

Machte in viel Europaeischen Laender Daimler Benz und Volvo Konkurrenz.

My father had the 504L with the 1,8 litre engine instead of the 2.0 in the GL. I was so envious of the GL. Always wished Dad had ponied up the extra 5% cost to move up to the higher grade car. What I hated most was that the L had the column gearshift while the GL had the tunnel shifter. This one is perfect, except for a lack of AC. Didnt a few even come with an Auto transmission?. I think I saw that somewhere
hello. well i would ever prefer the steering column shift because it works so perfect is one the best gear shift ever. and the 504 l had the most robust engines ever. but the gl engine is more powerfull and even this runs 300.000 or 400.000 km. but the interieur of the gl was much nicer than that from the l. and yes peugeot made automatic transmissions which matched very good to the character of this car and an original option was an air condition - but very hard to find one. herzlichen gruss roland kayser
My father had this car in 1971,in Bangkok Thailand. It was perhaps the first automatic in the country. It was a special important, which had air-conditioning and a ZF (German) 3 speed automatic transmission. Learned to drive in this. Now I am 70 I will never forget the experience. How steady it was at speed, fantastic visibility, you were in command of a quality auto regardless of price.

Wobei "Heckantrieb" (im Titel) ja nicht stimmt. Der Motor ist hier ja immernoch vorn, so ist's der klassische "Standardantrieb"
(Motor vorn längs, Kardanwelle, Hinterradantrieb).

Optisch außen und innen ein gefälliges Design.
Bremsen , Beschleunigung, Art der Leistungsentfaltung, Kurvenlage für damalige Zeit sicherlich dem höheren Preis angemessen gut.
Den 504 als Kombi mit der dritten Sitzreihe (Familiare) ist auch interessant anzusehen.
