- My name is Erik. I’m a digital nomad traveling around the country in my Subaru Forrester and today I’m escaping normal life in Shenandoah National Park. Shenandoah is a mountain range in Virginia. It offers an abundance of hiking trails, wildlife, waterfalls, scenic views and drives, biking trails, stargazing and more. The Appalachian Trail goes directly through Shenandoah. I spent nearly a week in the area this is what I did.

Hey Erik, I just found your channel and subscribed. Super happy watching your videos of your travels.
Awesome, thank you!
Hopefully you're doing okay with the heat advisory these past couple of days. I'm excited to see if you made it to some of the hiking trails and Appalachian spots in the town where I currently reside. Stay safe and cool!

Loved your video. Enjoy your time in Harpers Ferry it is a beautiful area full of history.
it was! it was a big surprise going there. didn’t know anything about it
Just saw this video. Nice job. Been to Dark Hollow Falls a few times. Yep, almost seems like it’s straight up at times coming back. The park and Skyline Drive are beautiful anytime of year! I live nearby. Suggestion: Blackwater Falls in West Virginia is by far one of the best falls I’ve seen in the area. Stay safe.
oh thanks! when i get back to WV- i’ll make sure to check out Blackwater Falls. thanks for the suggestion!
Nice tow hook on the front of the Forster! If you like star gazing, there's a park in PA that is noted for it. Cherry Springs State Park. Might be on your way, or close. I was there a few years back, it was self pay $10.00/night. Enjoyed the video of the Shenandoah's.........
oh thanks! i’ll have to look up that park!
Excellent
Thanks!
Great video man! You should try some vibram barefoot shoes and really feel the earth beneath you 👍🔥

@@EscapingNormalLife I was there last month and it was wonderful to see👍🏽
is it cooler at that park ?
yes! during the day it was maybe mid 70’s- to 80°. but at night it was about mid 50’s-60. during the stargazing event, we all had jackets on.
