2 week update here: ruclips.net/video/p3MBUPji19U/видео.html
Definitely think you should continually update us on the progress! I love those types of videos! 💚
Me too🎉
Same
Ah yes we are also very excited for that!! 😍
Me the entire time watching the intro- girl open the plants already! They are dying every second! 😂😂😂
I’m surprised how good these plants look, after so many days in transit. Beautiful variegations!
Likewise, I was worried at first but the results turned out to be amazing
The last thing you need in your house is an Indo super spider 😩
I have an Indo Mint andansonii and it’s so easy care! It’s beautiful and easy, perfect!
My face when you pulled that Chiapense out! Girl, this is a killer haul
Umm. Whats this now?
@@geminezmarie what’s what now?
Nice plants! The trick with the burle marx variegata is cutting off the non-variegated tops when it reverts and giving it lots of light to try and stimulate growth points further down. The burle marx variegata can handle really strong light.
🥰Beautiful plants. Definitely want to see an update :)
thank you Lyne! I'm definitely going to film one 😃 fingers are crossed for these plants :)
We also want to see their growth 😊
From my rehabbing experience you're doing great, high humidity in a closed box or something similar in water until they start putting out new roots, then perlite (in my exprience it's a great mid point), and then you can pot them up once they've grown good roots in perlite :-)
Those are the most beautiful variegated plants I've ever seen in one place!! The chiapense is amazing!! I love my non-variegated chiapense!!❤🎉
They're all so STUNNING! Can't wait to see how they grow and adapt.
I’m so tickled by how cautious you are unwrapping all of them 😂 you just never know what’s gonna come out of there! They’re all so gorgeous tho you’re gonna do wellllll. 👍
I've heard of people having mixed experiences with Green Spaces, but they definitely sent you some great stuff! I'd definitely be interested in seeing updates on these plants. Good job overcoming your fear of spiders long enough to unwrap the ghost!
we're also very excited to see how this update turns out!!!🥰🥰🥰
Wow I can't believe how good they all looked considering the 20 days of transit😮😊 I hope they all do real well for you. They are all beautiful. My favorite is the Syngonim...that minty multicolored green 💚 leaf 🌿 is super amazing. I love it 💖 btw love the nail 💅 color/s. TFS Fern. Enjoyed the video and look forward to the updates of each. Take good care...
Thank you so much for watching 🥰 the Syngonium is definitely the winner in my books too!
i’m terms of large syngoniums i would highly recommend the green macrophyllum!! i think it’s so underrated and the leaves are narrower/longer and more satiny than the chiapense super low maintenance too
aaaaaahhhhhh so stunning! They look absolutely perfect. I'm so excited to see them thrive in your care. That syngonium is insane. I could stare at that leaf for hours. I didn't know what it was at first, but I was watching with my mouth on the floor. So insanely beautiful
Plants travelling all the way from Indonesia and still looking so good. I'm impressed!!! I hope the variegated ones keep their look. I know the feeling, as I have had so many variegated plants revert. I always wonder if it's about giving them the right lighting or do the plants just decide "too hard, going back to my old ways". Piper - Sylvaticum looks awesome, but I think Piper - Crocatum wins in looks. Can't beat the pink veins!!! Great video, look forward to updates on all these plants. 💚🌿🎁👍
Thanks so much 😃 and yeah the variegated ones can sure test my patience 😅
I just saw the website and as someone who has Imported plants I will say that they are overpriced especially considering the shipping isn’t included. I’ve bought from Thai Exotic Greenery” and paid like half of what this nursery charges. The selection is good though.
They're really good though and extremely responsive. Some of the prices are high for certain plants, but they're dealing with an international market, and prices fluctuate (sometimes dramatically) between countries. They have excellent prices on hoya and they send huge plants.
Is shipping included in thai exotic greenery shippings? Is a phytosanitary document included?
I havent yet ordered online, waiting for spring and wsiting to find the right store.
Maybe you would consider addressing the process of getting a permit to import plants into Canada. Permit process, cost etc... I would find this info useful, even though I'm kind of maxed out on plants at the moment. Hopefully I didn't miss this in the video. I didn't watch absolutely all of it. Thanks.
Hmm, I don't agree.. just compared the two and general prices are okay, I think.
But Green Spaces charges $80 shipping to Europe (where I live) whereas Thai Exotic Greenery charges $275!! 😰
@@judithkrmrs8533see that’s the exact catch . The prices are gonna be different but in the end about the same >> exactly what you just explained❤❤
The Chiapense is my current #1 wishlist plant. Syngoniums are my favorite genus
Congrats for the new import plants, they all so beautiful.
I just want to share that I have both Domesticum V. And Jose Bueno. I love my Domesticum very much. It was the import plant I bought from Thailand. It’s such a beautiful specimen and super easy to grow. I’m not an expert at but she’s thriving under my care. She keeps giving me beautiful variegation leaf after leaf .❤ enjoy plantings!
Wow, that's amazing, I hope your plants can continue to grow and develop well🥰🥰🥰
Ahhh it's lovely to see you get so many beautiful new plants, I'm looking forward to seeing how you get on with transitioning the imports and ehat pits you will eventually choose for them all 😊
Wow. Amazing import! I’m shocked with how great they all look after arriving 20 days in transit!! ❤❤ I’ve noticed one of the most popular ways to rehab imports is the water and bin method, it seems to work wonders!
I also feel the leaves when I’m watering to help gauge the needs!
Also, love the music being played during the root reveal! Who is it? It sounds like an artist I really love called tipper!
At first we were worried the plants wouldn't survive, but after seeing this it was amazing how well they survived🤩🤩
@@greenspacesid you guys have an amazing selection of plants. One day soon I’ll place an order, it’s just out of the budget at the moment with the holidays.
I'm so jealous of the variegated chiapense! I have the green form and it's one of my favorite plants, so easy and grows so fast. I had an order from Greenspaces last year and I don't think I have any left. Can't wait to see updates!
Yes, keep us updated!
I’m on it 🫡
OMG my eyes were like 👀 when the leaf dropped from the Beauty, i was expecting a spooky story from the Indonesian Cave spider that may have been in there 😂 The Piper Sylvativum looks like a boujee Siltepicana (rooting for that one) Syngonium roots look strong! All the plants look genetically solid. They all want a front row seat next to a window 😅 great haul, thanks for sharing!
the last plant is my absolute dreeeeaaaammmmm! super excited to see it's journey
Yes, would love to see an update
The first order I placed was in August, around the 16 and delivered in the middle of July but my second order was purchased on July 26 and delivered mid September. The second order was in transit for so long. Not sure why. Think it took the scenic route.
So excited for this video!! Love it!! Hope you’re well fern ✨
Awe thank you so much. I am doing well. Hope you are too
That Chiapense is stunning. I am not very confident with variegated plants in general but because my all-green Chiapense grows so easily, I decided to give it a shot. So far, it's just being a lot slower to grow but it seems stable for viability and variegation. Best wishes for yours!
Ahh yes, I hope your plants continue to grow and develop well. enjoy planting!🖤
your home looks so beautiful with the new tree! 😍 so happy for you 🤭
Those plants are absolutely beautiful!!!! They are the nicest imports I have seen so far. I love the plants you chose and the ones given to you! It is amazing they have lasted 20 days in the mail and are still so nice! i am definitely going to look over their website. They probably don't fit my budget, but they are so nice. I'm not sure how the roots will work out, please keep us posted on their progress. I love the colors & variegations. Thank You,
The Florida ghost! 😲😍 just gorgeous
You should still get the "Syngonium Frosted Heart" the leaves up size So Good, it's very rewarding 🌿👌
Oh yes? Do you have it? Is maintenance easy enough?
Plant number three with the silvery leaves looks very healthy but beautiful too.
I’ve never even heard of a variegated Chiapense! New top wish list plant!
it's PHENOMENAL. really curious to see how it grows! 🤞
So excited to see that you were able to successfully import plants from Indonesia. I placed my first order earlier this month. Very anxious to see the results but I’m hoping my rare aglaonema make it to my home. I enjoy your plant content and you’ve inspired me to make more plant videos as well. Thanks for this amazing unboxing video.
Ahh that is so exciting! I hope yours arrive safely. Thank you for watching 🌿
You’re my first Plant RUclipsr! Thank you so much for your immaculate vibes! I only have 9 plants so far but I’m CRAZY about them already I can’t wait to fill up my house lololol
Ahhh yessss! Welcome to the plant world (& to my channel!) 💚🌿
As someone who jumped in headlong and has killed a ton of plants, I recommend going slowly and trying out different genuses while you figure out what you love and what works in your environment and with your care style. I've wasted a looooot of money by just buying all the things and then not being able to keep them alive. And if you try out hoya, DON'T treat them like succulents because they do NOT like to dry out for that long. Mine are in a chunky mix and ideally get watered once a week like my philodendrons and other plants. I've killed more hoya by treating them like succulents than anything else.
@@LulaMae21 I’ve killed my share of succulents over the years and I have a once a week watering schedule for the plants I have right now. I have two philo’s on the way and then will be staying at 11 plants and no more for at least 3 months to make sure everyone is happy and thriving in their spots and growth medium. I have 2 diffenbachia, 1 calathea (Dottie), 1 philo prince of orange , 1 golden pothos, 1 geogenanthus poeppigii (seersucker plant), 1 alocacia bambino, 1 string of hearts and 1 scindapsus exotica with a Florida beauty and a philo Brazil on the way! Other than the alocacia everyone is thriving! Thank you so much both of you! I’ve got a plant journal and am proper hyper fixated lol
Thanks for the thorough video. It’s really appreciated! ❤ they look amazing, can’t wait to see an update
You’re so welcome, thank you for watching 💚
I am surprised that they didn't put any foil or wrap or any other material that helps preserve warmth. I assume it's frosty in Canada now unless the video was recorded earlier this year
I have wanted a variegated Chipense FOREVER!!! I have a regular one and love it!
I'm livinggggg for that zip-up sweater!! It looks amazing on you, and so cozy
The gorgeousness of the sweater still doesn't live up to the gorgeousness of the variegation on these PLANTS though 🙌
Awww thank you so much 🥺
@@wildfernLove the sweater too, can you tell us where you bought it? Love your videos as well, looking forward to an update to this one.
2:02 you do need an import license in the USA now. The regulations recently changed and the USDA has been messing with their authentication process, so it's a while thing. I had to go to the usda office twice in person just to verify my identity. This is why there is so much misinformation out there as well as inconsistent practices during the import process, but greenspace was on it. They did everything right.
no way! what a nuisance. that's good to know, thanks for the updated information.
Thanks Fern for sharing your plant mail with us! My faves were the Piper and Burle Marx, it’s so full and lush!🌿🌱☘️😊
Yes update for sure
What beautiful plants! It's amazing how well they look after 20 days in the post. Yes please update. ✨🌿
I totally agree 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼🥰
Lots of good luck with all of them. I love them all, so beautiful 😍.
Thanks so much 😊
I’m terrified of spiders too, Fern! I probably would’ve had to take that Florida Ghost outside & say “good riddance” cuz I’d be too scared to even touch it after seeing that web 😅 thanks for another awesome video - & for making me feel sane & seen for loving plants while fearing spiders haha 😂🌿🫶🏽
I would have put that one in a sealed bag until the hubby came home to open it for sure! 😂
Nice haul! Can’t wait to see the progress. Please keep updating us. 😊
I hope all these survive for you! Some of them had tiny root systems… I would classify them as rooted cuttings more so than full plants…
Of course I want to see the progress!!
same!!!
YES! Please! Need an update! That chiapense is amazing!!!!!!!! 💚
Variegated chiapense 😍😍 I didn't know it looks THAT beautiful!
And everytime I see florida ghost, I think more and more that I need one. 😄
I like to import Anthuriums, because Anthuriums usually acclimate really good. Yeah, some leaf damage is normal, but roots are always 👌. Mostly I order from Ecuagenera from Ecuador. I think it also delivers to Canada. 🤔
Please keep us updated! I'd like to see many updates, like after few weeks and few months (and also later in your videos😊)
I’m jealous over the Chiapense 😂 I have the green on a moss pole and it’s one of my favs! Best of luck with all your new babies ❤
Nice camera! I thought I was in your house, the quality is crazy!💜
Such beautiful babies and i would love to see any updates. The syngonium and burle max are awesome. I have quite a lot of syngoniums, love them.
Hopefully your syngonium can continue to grow and develop well🥰 so happy for you!!☺
How the heck do they look ok after 20 days in transit?! I’m scared of importing especially to our Canadian winter, though ours is mild here, and only if I had a humid cabinet or greenhouse, wow, those are fabulous ❤ I’d be thrilled to see if they acclimate!!
I don't know lol I was so surprised!
@@wildfernis it easier to remove moss from roots when it’s dry or do you suggest it being moistened first?
@@torquess454 definitely moisten it! The more wet, the easier it removes :)
Initially we were very concerned about the condition of the plants in the box for 20 days, but it was amazing that they survived and arrived in good condition.
When winter arrives we usually use standard winter packaging☺🌱
Girl GET the Jose Buono!!! Please! I’ve had mine for 4 years maybe ? It grows SO insanely fast but also upsizes at the same speed ! And it’s really pest resistant ! Rarely ever shows any damage or loses a leaf- even if it has a pest! It’s incredible man. Mine lost most variegation for a year or so when i had to put him in lower light but he stayed growing fast and large so I honestly still loved him the same. Well, as soon as we moved and i was able to give him good light again, he started giving great variegation again and now he’s putting out gorgeous chunky variegation and I’m thrilled. It’s getting massive, I am so proud 🥹! You won’t regret the Jose Buono I bet 🥲 🪴 Anyway, love your plants 😍 Awesome video as always 🤗
Omg 😱 That Var. Chiapense !! Are you kidding me? I would loveeeee one! I haven’t really seen them before 😍
Beautiful plants!! 🥰
Thank you! 😊
Hope you're having an awesome day Fern I had the day off work today I'm so happy I get to go grocery shopping today later got to get some stuff for Christmas dinner👍
Thank you, so far so good! That sounds like a lovely day - enjoy :)
Omg I have the syngonium frosted heart and I love it I want the variegated too😢🥰😍🥰 wow that one is so beautiful 😍 🤩 enjoy your new baby❤❤
Hello Fern, yes I would like to see progress.
Yes, I’d love to see more updates on them. Thank you! Great video!❤
Will do!!
Hi fern! Thank you for taking us through your setup. And Oh My Gosh! The variegated syngonium is ti die for! ❤
Nice plants; hope they acclimate to your home. Thanks for sharing!
I wanna say the limit is 6 in the ISA as far as how many you can order WITHOUT an import permit but tbh to make the shipping worth it, youll order more than 6 lol. In 2021 i placed 2 import orders, one from indonesia and one from thailand and i order 3 of each plant to account for casualties which ended up being a great idea. I mever recommend ordering hoyas tho cos most haaaaaate such long transit times. Philos do best in my experience
Beautiful plants 🌱
I have the same problem with my Var Burl Marx they revert and they aren’t cheap to me tfs love everything!
Love your nail polish! Reminds me of those beautiful beatles I see in the spring.
Beautiful plants, I would like to see an update.
New plants! The thought of me getting more stresses me out! And then you saw the web!😨😨😨 Also I can't stop staring at your nail polish! It changes colour! Or is it just my eyes?!?😂😂can't wait for an update . Kisses to Olive 💚🐶
Thank you!! Yes it’s a super shifty polish 😃
I hope the Piper gets better 🙏 it's cute 🥰
we also expect the same😊😊😊
What an amazing haul. Yes, update pleaseee 😊
Im in the US and have imported from Greenspaces. We need a permit for anything over 13 plants. Even if you're like me and went plant crazy, the permit was really easy to get. All info is easily found online.
As far as the plants from Greenspaces, most made the journey well. Some did not make it at all, and others I was able to nurse back to health. Even for the ones that did not make it, they have a resend policy that you just pay for shipping. I used it and was happy with the plants sent again (of course some were not happy that tome either).
I would recommend them if they have a good sale and if you can't find the plants locally. They also have GREAT customer service.
It's wonderful to hear other peoples experiences! How many days were the plants in transit for you?
@@wildfernI'm in Florida, so it was about the same as you. 20 ish. It was delayed in customs in LA for a few days.
Another. It of advice would be to order hoyas with hoyas and not other plants as the other plants made some of the hoyas too wet and rot. I was able to save some, but they show up gorgeous and then get sad.
Ahhh! So excited for this import girl❤❤❤
I would very much enjoy and update!!😁
Syngonium Chiapense is one of my Top 5 favorite plants of all time...therefore I would perish if I were able to acquire a variegated version! 😍
Will you add to your collection of favorite plants?☺
I have some new plants on my wishlist now! Thanks for the inspiration!
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching :)
That chiapenseis really pretty.
All of those plants are beautiful! I hope they survive. Excited to see the progress 💚🌿🌱
Yes Fern definitely interested in an update. Hopefully they all thrive for you. 🪴🤗
Merci pour cette vidéo ! Le syngonium chiapensé est bluffant 🤩 Je 🤞 pour qu'il devienne chez vous une belle et grande plante . 🍀
You do have to have a import permit in the states
Yeah they changed it :(
If you live in Canada, you need a Canadian import permit :)
Loved this! Would love an update vid!
The leaf jump scare 😂😭 The chiapense is stunning!
Hahaha 😂
Can you give us regular updates on those? Like every two weeks or so 😊
this is also what we hope for🤭
Have you tried cutting back your variegated philodendron burle Marx to try to get your variegation back? I just found your channel I look forward to seeing your update afterwards.
Aaahhh. I just did my first import with greenspace! It's been a month, and my plants are doing great! (A bunch of hoya, Florida beauty, huge variegated Thanksgiving cactus. Their customer service is _so_ responsive and helpful. I had zero issues with importing even though there is a ton of misinformation out there about the import process(in the USA). Eg: ship to inspection center. Then email paperwork (again) and have the package sent to your address. Why would this even be a thing? It's not. 😆
Ahhh that is amazing to hear! And omg the variegated thanksgiving cactus!!!
I’m a first time importer to the USA. I haven’t gotten my import license yet but already placed an order. I’m worried that my plants won’t make it to me. Is it even a thing? Heard it was a new rule.
@@growfolds yep. Get your import license. It's really fast _if_ you can get through the authentication process online. I would watch a video on RUclips. Greenspace sends videos and a pdf with instructions.
@@wildfern The variegated schlum was definitely your influence. 😆
@@plantypittsburgh thank you! I tried applying online but my verification needs to be done via mail… so hoping that paper work comes in soon. I’m excited for the aglaonema I got and Syngoniums as well.
Such a great import 🎉🎉❤❤🫶🏼🫶🏼
Have you ever bought imported plants?😊
@@greenspacesid I have
Wowwww!!’ That Var. Chia is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Happy Monday Fern! 😊
Happy Monday!! Thanks so much for watching :)
Yes, please updates!!!!❤❤❤
I spent the whole video waiting for a giant spider to jump out 😮
But the plants are very beautiful. I would love updates, please
They are so beautiful‼️
💚🌱☘️🌵💚
Variegated Chiapense is fun!
right!!! thank you 😊
I thought the piper was going to be CRISPYYYYY wow
SAME
Beautiful plants !! Also need the lips color 😍💖
Eu estou com meus olhos brilhando com tantas plantas maravilhosa saudações do 🇧🇷 Brasil
I’d love to see updates!
I would love an update on how they do!
I would be so anxious waiting. I really want to order from Canopy Co in Louisiana but I'm in iowa and it's cold. I know they use heat packs but i really don't want damage.
Maybe you can put the money you would have spent aside each month until spring and then do a big haul of wishlist plants once it warms up!
I use to buy to them, it is right that they are more expensive, but also their planta have a very good quality. I have bought to cheaper sellera and they sent plants extremely small
Qué hermosas plantas, felicidades!!! Un abrazo!
