Unrelated to this video, but I would love to see a video of you getting rid or giving away plants that you don't like/want anymore. Every now and then you mention that you lost a plant or gave a plant away but I would like to hear more about that. I think it's something most people struggle with yet it's necessary sometimes... 😊

Love all your new plants 😊😊. What I do to get my hoyas to bloom is I try giving them the best light. Out of my hoyas I've only had a handful bloom. Matilde, lacunosa, sunrise, obscura, nummarliroids, multiflora and my most surprising one polyneura because I only got late in the summer and it has two small vines. To me it's acting like the multiflora, it doesn't grow much but blooms like crazy (3 separate blooms). I also water with aquarium water and I add gaia green super fly insect frass. Then I just wait. Oh I also don't let them get to dry. I keep a close eye on my hoya. Hope that helps to get your beauties to bloom 😊

What fun. My H insularis from Planthaven Toronto grows very fast, so be prepared. H davidcummingii grows well for me and bloomed early. You'll now when it blooms by the caramel/butterscotch scent filling the room.
My least favorite thing in the world is taking my dog to the vet for medical treatment. Thank goodness for cute new plants to sooth the anxiety and the soul!😊

Those balls of cotton wool remind me of delicious cotton candy lol. I was also totally like "oh, I get Hoya only for their interesting foliage" but now I'm always also on a lookout for ones with beautiful flowers. I can't wait for my caudata silver to bloom too. Yessssss. I bought a bulk deal with a couple cabinets and it came with a ton of Hoyas, I’m so glad I didn’t get rid of them then (when I was way not into them) because now I’m obsessed.

Just repeating what I commented on your vlog...
My dogs hate teeth brushing with the traditional brush and paste so I tried the dental wipes, they are easier to use because the wipe goes over your finger and there's better control. Good luck, be patient. There's also water aditive you can put in her drinking bowl known to be pretty safe. I found both on Amazon.

Fernnnnn!!!!!! Those are all so amazing! They are awesome to give you all those surprises! I have a hanhiae pink, her blooms smell like jasmine. A pretty easy plant she has bloomed for me in ambient humidity, and also in my cabinet. I have a ut-033 also but I had no idea how they looked until now 😂 congratulations on all your new babies!!!!!

My Hoya Mathilde Splash blooms a lot without me having to do anything special and the blooms smell amazing! And my Hoya Macrophylla Variegata has bloomed once, but those blooms were a little less impressive. All the other Hoyas in my collection are still immature or just haven‘t bloomed for me. I‘m trying to be patient 😅

I love Jose Bueno and i finally got one , there was three planta in it and i was so happy. the main one is four feet tall now but i have little verigatiin on one leaf and thats it. The other two are all green. I love the plant but i really wanted the verigation . Yours is absolutely beautiful.

Hey Fern. Love your haul, yes you have been blessed. As for the Caudata; they can take yrs to bloom. You will need some patience young buck, it will eventually happen 🫶🏻. I’m older so my patience has developed, but I still get anxious waiting, but it’s so worth the wait. Great additions to your collection. Enjoy, have fun and patiently wait! 🪴

I’ve moved most of my Hoya into New Zealand tree fern fibre and into the bathroom with lots of natural direct sunlight and humidity. They seem to love these conditions as some I’ve only had for a few months are blooming. Hope yours bloom too 🤞
Look at the size of those splashes on the Hoya caudata They are huge. Ooh the blooms sound fantastic. Fluffy, feathery is a good description
