Those pillows served a purpose in their interview. Buddy has been through it and needed that extra comfort. Glad Ian had them there and didn't say a word the whole time
Props to this guy for actually admitting that being bullied growing up was the cause of him choosing a career as a CO. That instinctive desire to BECOME the bully is a motivating factor for many cops & COs, they just lie & won’t admit it. Respect.
Scott has a beautiful kind hearted loving Mother who always provided for her boys! And geez be kind ppl he is nervous. Stop judging unless your perfect...so rude and uncalled for!
Not me. My mom divorced my dad and all it did was push me more into spending all my time with my him when he was at his lowest point in his life and relationship.
Being an ex con I tuned in to listen to the other side of my world in there. I'm now 35 minutes in and I have no idea what i'm listening to. So i'm turning it off at this point. If it is worth listening to the end, someone please comment and let me know because other than that I am tapping out.
I 💯 get you.. I'm the same way.. respect.. works both ways and goes a looking way.. Inmates will take care of the pedophiles... they know it before most..and completely not accepted. A lot you say, i can relate to.. just different because of a different state.. however, it's still the same... it's definitely hard to articulate for the " non- corrections-" to understand.
@TheAverageSavage1021 you thats what I thought also. He says stuff like we didn't have the phones with internet and stuff when I was a kid. And I'm like dude you where probably like 7 or 8 when they came out. So stop with that nonsense. Because I went to feeds in 2008 and the iPhone was already out for like a year or 2
Never ask an inmate what they are in for nor ever look up their file, first it's against the rules, secondly you won't be able to work in that environment.
I never asked cause most would lie. Would look up the inmates that tried to act up with me so I could see if any of em were chomos, and when they were, I’d have a one on one convo with them to let them know that I knew or I’d ask about their victims and I never had trouble with em again. Worked incoming chain sometimes and would check the travel cards so a lot of times, I knew from the jump.
It's just a filler word. He was nervous. How about you? Just listen to the story which is the important part. What do you think, this is live? And he was going to read this and then stop and go ha, I should listen to this critique Get over it or move on

Great interview. I've been binge watching prison interviews daily. Keep up the great work Ian.
Thank you so much!!

Very good interview, I like the realism of this guy talking about his own trauma.
Thank you very much

I love his pillow choice position. Comfy.
Thank you again Ian. Respect from Ohio
The best advice I heard from a correction officer "That's the inmates' house don't disrespect it or them".
great videos really enjoy your videos!
Another awesome interview lan
Great video
That officer that said you were scared was probably a lazy co trying to get you to do all the work so he don’t have to do shit. 😂
Men protect their moms so much they make excuses for their dad being killed by them. Crazy
Not me. My mom divorced my dad and all it did was push me more into spending all my time with my him when he was at his lowest point in his life and relationship.
@ cheers to your dad and mines. Because of them we understand what it means to be a man.

Does the guest have a pillow or blanket on top on him?
It looks like a red pillow on the chair under his armpit
@ Ok, thank you! I’ll look again.
@@RLFinTX he has a pillow, one under left arm and one on his lap too a
It's to hide his erection. since getting a nerve damaged he is in a permanent state of arousal.

good interview but this dude is a heartbeat away from becoming an inmate himself
Thank you!
Yes he is, I am not sure that I like him
Is he wearing a blanket?
I just asked the same thing. 🤔
He looks to be an obese man under a blanket and in a wheelchair or big leather chair… I can’t tell
Edit: it’s a red pillow under his armpit but my comment was deleted anyway
Unbelievable what just gets deleted on this app. I asked a legit question and had it deleted
@@TheReaper42069 That’s a pretty big pillow. 🤨
Ya know
Becoming a cop because you want to “help people” is like going to med school because you want to fly airplanes. That’s just not what they do.
Jeuss is king
Hi everyone!!
Hi!!!
Hi
How old are you ian? I'm just curious
27 or 28 I think
@TheAverageSavage1021 you thats what I thought also. He says stuff like we didn't have the phones with internet and stuff when I was a kid. I’m 29. I didn’t have a smart phone until 8th grade
This guest is much too difficult to listen to
Sorry Ian,can’t take this guy anymore had to stop listening to this episode

Haha thanks!!!
This dude he interviewing Is so hard to listen to
Never ask an inmate what they are in for nor ever look up their file, first it's against the rules, secondly you won't be able to work in that environment.
Rules changed then it was years ago
@Trixify_yt Depends on the state. In California it's a no no unless it's a specific job but you still have no right to disclose any information.

Ian stop being cheap pay your guest flights. You know there was a direct flight he just didn't want to spend his own money on it
Brother you know how much travel is for 5 guests a week? I’d be losing money
This guy is a horrible storyteller. He begins a sentence but doesn't complete it.
I don’t know about this guy????
"Errm, er...uhhhm.."
Well what do you know can't hear the person that's being interviewed again smh
I can hear loud and clear
@ianbickCT I guess so you sitting right next to him.....
I can hear , can’t see .. lol
I can hear clear as day. Clean out your ears.
Can hear them fine
Can you please stop saying “ya know” after every sentence?
Can u please keep negativity out of
When you stop complaining, maybe.
Don’t watch his content dummy
It's just a filler word. He was nervous. How about you? Just listen to the story which is the important part. What do you think, this is live? And he was going to read this and then stop and go ha, I should listen to this critique
Get over it or move on
He was nervous. Be kind. I felt bad for him. Ian does a great job at helping him out. Once again, be kind.
