    I sprayed my del sol tri stage ivory with a pearl midcoat with this gun and it handled it just fine. 26 gallon home depot air compressor. Gotta get out there and get it like UPK says guys. Worst that can happen is having to sand down and try again

    I’ve really enjoyed your videos. It’s helped me a lot. I haven’t touched a spray gun in about 25 years and I had a really difficult job to do on my RV. The front top cap needed a repaint. I had to prep, then use sealer, base coat and clear all on scaffolding. I HAD to keep overspray down or the neighbors wouldn’t appreciate multi colored homes. I went with the SprayIt 33000. I need not fear, it worked like a champ. I had to be very careful to keep a wet edge, but I did. I had to move the scaffolding fast, and yes, this was all in the driveway. It can be done. Thanks for all the great information. I’d attach a picture but I don’t see how.

    Am using the Spray-it again today to spray 1k sealer. I continue to be impressed with how well it does at this price. Keeps the fog down a bit. Not my go-to clear gun, but base, thinner sealers, All Day Long. All Day. I tear it down and treat it like I didn't pay...45 bucks or so when I got it off Ali-Express.
    People, skip that purple gun, that green gun, and spend just a bit more to get the R500. For all basic paint jobs and 4 to 1 clears. If you are a DIY guy ...this and a 1.7 kit can be All you need to do it all.

I'm a collision tech, experience enough painting. Bought a 80 gallon 30 cfm compressor for my home shop but I think I'm going to sell it. Way more compressor than I need. Plan on using electric sanders and only using the 29 gallon to paint and blow things off. 5 years ago you would have gotten laughed out the shop for using electric tools. Newbie to painting here: How do you determine what PSI/tip combo you use? You always make sure to let us know what it is (1.3 lvlp at 28 psi). How do I know what psi to go with? is it based on the tip and what im spraying (primer/sealer, base, clear)?

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  Год назад

      A few things matter when it comes to the decision of what tip size to use and what pressure to spray at. To make it a little easier for you is if you have thinner material to spray it best to spray with a smaller tip and thicker material with a bigger tip, then you determine what your air pressure by the appearance you want to achieve so you adjust the pressure and fan to get the spray gun to atomize the material to your liking, I hope that helps!

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  Год назад +1

      Happy New Year Walt, it really depends on your primer and if you have any break through areas, I don’t know what primer you used and if it can be used as a sealer so if it was me I would get a sealer whether it be a 1k sealer or a 2k sealer and seal it that way you know the product is doing exactly what it was made to do and I would check with the manufacturer or supplier to check and see if the primer can be used as a sealer. You also can disregard all that and paint over your primer and just make sure that you have enough material to cover the vehicle when painting, so you definitely have options on what route to take

    Hi there UPK ...um just wondering what type of regulator you prefer using on your LVLP spray gun?

    • @UndergroundPaintKing
      @UndergroundPaintKing  Год назад +1

      I honestly don’t have a preference on my regulator as long as it reads pretty accurate and will last a good while, so the ones from Harbor Freight work good or you can get a name brand one…I’ve had both fail me at some point so I don’t see any regulator really better than another
