I can attest to every thing you said about using the entire kit and using it properly. Last week I was in a hurry and forgot to use nail prep. Several days later I had three nails come off in almost whole sheets. This never ever happens to me with dazzle dry(when used properly) and i have been using it weekly now for almost two years.

If you are doing pedicures this is a must. When client comes for mani/pedi I do the pedi first and after the mani their toes are totally dry, they can put shoes on. When I do just a pedi I do all the prep work, polish and then I apply cream, check the client out, re-book and they can put their shoes on. 10 min later :) Amazing! Not to mention the health of the nails is way better esp on toes with Dazzle Dry.

I use it for my home manicures, but I'm messy and seem to have trouble getting darker colors off the skin around my nails. I've tried a brush, cuticle stick, and q-tips with little success on removal of color on skin. Suggestions?

I'm so glad my videos are helping! For a white dress I would suggest to go with a color like Smitten. It will pop nicely against darker skin tone and it will compliment a white dress. It never ends might look good too but it's difficult to tell without seeing skin shade. Color choice is such a personal thing though...

Maybe on top of the heating pad on very low? Normally they don’t recommend doing that but maybe warming it up as they recommend and then maintaining the temperature with a pad?
