I’m with you on Flora, I can’t stand her! She took forever to leave my island. Papi is a cutie though!
The good thing is that the early villagers tend to want to leave pretty quickly. Just deny them until Flora is the one to ask to leave.

I forgot how long it takes to unlock everything in the beginning of the game and you're even going fast! You still have to decorate too! Good luck and Godspeed Biff is kind of growing on me too
