10:56 Another thing about the wasps, every day your island will spawn 5 wasp trees and 2 furniture trees, only on trees that bare no fruit. So you can just fill your island entirely with fruit trees, and keep 7 bare pine trees in a corner. Even better, once you know which of those trees has the wasps in them, the other two will always have the furniture.
@@QuackCow144 Two trees every day will drop furniture, five trees every day will drop wasps. The wasps in fact will STAY in that tree they've been randomized to every day until they're dropped, also.
One of my favorite tips has to do with what you carry in your pockets! 2 items I always have on me: DIY Crafting Table and Storage Shed. If you’re taking the time out to decorate your island, have your ENTIRE STORAGE with you is immensely valuable! And having a DIY table is great if you’re out and about and have a broken tool or want to craft wherever you are!
Omg…. I’ve been playing for years and didn’t even think about utilizing a storage shed! I honestly didn’t even know that was a thing. I’m remodeling my island and this will help so much. Thank you!!!!!
Wasp tip: if you equip yourself with your net before shaking a tree, when the wasp comes out you can hit the A button to catch it rather than it being stung! It wasn't explained very well in the video but this is how you catch them to sell them ☺️
When you move a building, objects like trees, weeds and furniture, that are in the way, will automatically be deleted, but you can find them again in the recycling box inside Resident Services.

I dont really like decorating too much, but i got the dlc anyways and its a nice task to just try my best and decorate a villagers home, and you unlock some nice items and another furniture shop
I did get the ds one for 4 € to test this out and I lost interest pretty quickly. That's why I won't get the switch version anytime soon. That saved me some money I guess
@@Lara2516 just keep in mind the switch one unlocks a lot of bonus features! My wasp trick which I find is a bit easier, is to have a net held when shaking non-fruit trees. The game automatically lines up your character to the nest/wasps as it falls so all you need to do is swing the net, no aiming required. Just make sure you don't have a ton of stuff under the tree and that you're shaking the tree head on/from the bottom.
Btw this is a funfact and I never seen anyone discovered this? But when you are sprinting (walk+B button), you can "drift" by quickly tilting the left stick to opposite direction (for example if you run to the right, quickly tilt it to the left) and your character will "drift" to stop sprinting. I just thought its a fun feature that didn't get explained in the game!
I used to drift all the time and thought it was just a random thing the game would do and only recently found out how I was making it happen. Yeah, it's kind of a fun little thing.

5 wasps + Flick=18,750 bells 1500 from the nests, but if you have a DIY that uses it (honeycomb flooring), that doubles to 3,000 (3600 if bell boom). Though if it is a hot item, that is now 6,000 bells (7,200 if Bell Boom is on) In Summary, if you have the honeycomb item as a hot item+Bell Boom on (and catch the Wasps of course), you can get a maximum of 25,950 bells per day (if you wait until Flick comes for the wasps). I don't though, but still wait for Flick, and thus can still get 21,750 bells per day.
One easy way to make Bells is to catch your five daily wasps (plus one for each Nook Miles Ticket island, if you go) and place them somewhere for temporary storage. Do this every day until Flick visits, and sell all the wasps to Flick. Pretty easy way to make ~300,000+ Bells, without the inherent risk of the Stalk Market. The drawback is, once you get a bunch of wasps placed in one spot, the game lags a bit until they're off-screen. I wish I knew a long time ago that planting flowers in beach sand would keep them from spreading!

I've commented about this before, but haven't seen anything about it in any of your videos. I really hope you see it as I think it will really help a lot of people.
If you have your net out when you shake trees you will automatically turn to the wasp - mash a - and Robert’s your mother’s brother! I don’t think the wasp trees stay the same daily though - I’m pretty sure they change! 🤔 I actually made my aesthetic majority fruit trees to cut down how long I had to look for wasps 🤣👌! that's what I was sort of thinking as well, but maybe if you never shake a wasp from a tree it just stays there? I had never really considered that because in my mind all the trees just reset what might drop from them each day. Of course that was just me assuming and we all know what assuming does.
I don't know if this has changed but, I remember when I got fossils and buried them back again they will still be on the same spot the next day and you won't get new fossils spawning. So if you completed the fossil exhibition at the museum and no longer want to search for fossils (even tho you get a good amount of bells selling them) you should take all your fossils and buried them together whenever you want and you shouldn't get new fossils spawning.
I always stand at the camera view side of the tree with a net to catch them easier but I've also gotten decent at running away and turning to swing my net at the right time.
My favorite way is to shake the tree while standing directly in front of it while holding a net. When the nest drops, you automatically turn to face it and once that action is done, you can then use your net to catch the wasps before they start flying around you.
@@kyokisaru Yup I do that too. It's my first chore of the day and I shake all my trees with a net ready, always on the southside of the tree. The wasp if it's not blocked by anything will always fall on the left side of you, and you always automatically turn towards their direction. Easy catch
For the trees with wasps you can also mark near it using the path tool with a design you know or get creative with a warning sign speaking of path tools u can also create an invisible path and you will never know its there but is helpful to control flowers from blooming in places you dont want. Also placing invisible paths will stop any fossils/bells from spawning in odd places such as right behind houses or buildings or on a blind spot of a cliff
Best tip I have for wasp is to have your net in hand, stand directly in front of the tree (make sure nothing is laying on the ground on either side) ad shake. Your character will automatically look at the fallen nest. After they react from the nest appearing, hit the button and success catch. Also make sure there are no villagers nearby that could accidentally talk to you instead of catching the wasp. This works for trees that are slightly obscured by something else.
My upstairs is my bug room, I stock up on wasps until Flick shows up. Easy way to catch wasps is to always hold your net while shaking the tree, always shake from the front, and spam "a". Your character will automatically turn the direction of the nest so you'll catch it without doing much
Thanks for the tip on the wasps. I hate those things, so it will be nice to know where the trees are and not have to deal with them. Perhaps I'll make a forbidden Forrest area where you shake trees at your own risk.
Hi, a super tip on wasps. Have your net equipped and stand due south of your tree when shaking it. Then if a Wasp does fall just wait until gain control again and swing and you will catch that Wasp everytime. Don't use any other moving arrows just press A. Works everytime. Happy hunting!
here's a tip i use so there's this glowing spot on the island every day right? so i usually dig it up and plant 10 000 bells in it then i time travel to the next day and repeat the process. So when i've time traveled a few times there'll be a money tree with 30 000 bells every day for me . I also hit the money rock on the island each day to get some extra cash. I've managed to pay off 2 brick staircases and my house upgrade (548 000) bells in just 2 days of playing in real time with this trick it's just a really simple and quick way to earn money.
You can bury more than the 1000 bells you dig up in the glowing holes and they will multiply x3. More than 10K bells don't always duplicate--often you will get just 3 bags of 10K bells--but you will always get at least that.
I don't know if this is just me, but I thought I would share my observation. I have seen many people saying they were not getting many event DIY from balloon drops, like the Sakura DIY. At first I got lots, and then hardly any.. but after some boredom I went catching petals again and the DIY balloons started showing up one after the other again. It could just be me by random chance but I have noticed a pattern. If you want the DIY then farm the resources needed for them, it seems to trigger them to spawn quicker. So even if you already have a ton of them but still need the DIY to complete the set, try going out and getting them again. It may start slow but keep at it. I hope this helps someone, I couldn't find any info like this when I went looking for a fix before.
I have some small hard plastic acnl character cards that I got off Amazon a few yrs ago. The point is, that they can be used to call a character to the cafe to have coffee with you. You can also go through the process of getting a character to move in. You use the card 3 days in a row to trigger Tom Nook to talk to you at his service counter about putting down a plot for a new resident,(yes it costs a little). It's a much faster way to get the exact character on the island than physically searching.
The DLC was a must-have just so I could redecorate my villager's houses. It's an excellent tool if you really want to take that extra step with an island theme. You can turn your villager's house into a school, a hospital, part of a castle, the Three Broomsticks, Kiki's Bakery, a Pokemon Center, ANYTHING!
As said before, every day we get 5 wasp trees and 2 furniture. Add pipe next to the 7/5 wasp trees, and use it to teleport after shaking or plant them exactly next to your home or neighbor and get in after shaking :)
On the wasp nests, there’s a priority order for the trees’ drops. If you have five or less non-fruit-bearing trees, every one will have a wasp nest once every day. If you have seven, five of them will each have a wasp nest, and two will each have a furniture item. This happens every day, you’re guaranteed to get five wasp nests and two furniture items if you shake all seven trees, but which trees drop wasp nests and which trees drop furniture is different every day. I think the next thing on the priority list is 100 bells, but I’m not sure how many spawn a day.
Ye, I got Raymond my first camper. I'm really glad, he's my favorite so far and has been with me my entire playthrough, and I got us to be best friends. I think during my New Leaf island he was there too but I don't remember about that one
To catch a wasp I usually shake a tree, run directly up a bit of ways, open up my pocket to equip my net, once equipped it turns your character around and I just hold A until I see the wasps close by and then catch them.
Holding your net while shaking trees practically guarantees not being stung by wasps. Your character will face the wasp in their initial shock animation, you can mash A to catch the wasp immediately.
i usually make money using fossils (especially once i finish that part of the museum) and crops. it makes a lot of money and some days i’ll get like 75,000 just off of fish and crops and fossils.
Once you decorate a house in the DLC, talk to the villager you designed for if they appear on the main island. They hang out in the back near the beach. They will give you an item you used in their build (typically wallpaper or flooring)!
Tip: If you overload one acre with a lot of stuff, Isabelle will say something about it and it will also affect your star rating, find your prefered style and decorate it to your own taste
Catching wasps is actually pretty easy. Just make sure you have your net equipped, shake the tree from directly south, and as soon as the nest drops, start spamming the button to use your net, as you'll automatically face the wasps when they fall out of the tree.
Bobs gang I also noticed theres an easy way to catch tarantulas. The easy way is a bit slow its like red light green light, so what you do is go up to the tarantula and when he puts his little hands up STOP, then when he lowers it you wanna keep going. The hard way to catch tarantulas is to just run up to them and catch them, but you have to be super precise for that, its easier when theyre facing away from you, itll do a little jump animation when theyre about to chase you so you got a split second
Frankly I think the NookLink is very, very not-werf, especially if you have a modded Switch. To use it you need a NSO subscription, which is not anywhere close to being worth the money, and if you've modded your Switch then you can't really use those advantages *and* use NookLink at the same time - not without risking a ban. Even the Turnip Tracker isn't worth it, even if you don't have a modded Switch, because there are free apps - you know, that don't require you to basically let Nintendo rip you off every month - that do that same thing. Also, wasps: If you equip your net and shake a tree only from its south side, then nest will always drop right next to you and your character will always turn to face it in such a way that you can immediately catch the wasp by either carefully timing the A button, or just mashing it. Shaking the tree from any other square will drop the nest somewhere you can't reach with your nest, but by shaking the tree from its immediate south you will always be in the perfect position. And it can be worth it, because Flick will pay you 5,000 Bells for each one, so that's 25k of potential earnings for each day.

I kinda wish that Gracie had a shop on Harv’s island for that; or if you completed enough fashion challenges from Label, you could upgrade the Able Sisters shop and expand the range available.
If you don't want your dreamies asking to move before all the other villagers you'd rather kick off your island, don't speak to the dreamies at all, i mean literally. Once they move to your island and they're in boxes don't speak to them because that would be an introduction, you can enter the house but don't talk to them. The game will skip over them only having all the other villagers asking about moving. Only when you have everyone you want on your island then you can speak.
I guess the wasp tip would work, but I think it’s just too much work to avoid. Because couldn’t there be a chance that one of the trees you didn’t separate have a wasp next spawn in it?
I am so here for the Chops slander :) I cannot stand him and he was my auto-invite camper when I restarted my island and I am still trying to get rid of him

You can bury more than the 1000 bells you dig up in the glowing holes and they will multiply x3. More than 10K bells don't always duplicate--often you will get just 3 bags of 10K bells--but you will always get at least that.
I just buried 68k bells.......
Fml......
The shop at HHP… I had no idea. Thanks for the tip!
Nook Shopping (accessible in the resident services building ATM or on your NookPhone) has the same function as Wardell's shop.
What is the DLC?
What’s the name of the DLC again??
@@SaltyBaby_1 happy home paradise!
Put a crafting table and the abd in your basement, place a pipe and carry the other pipe around. Makes everything easier.
I never knew about the secret shop at the DLC
Ye, I got Raymond my first camper. I'm really glad, he's my favorite so far and has been with me my entire playthrough, and I got us to be best friends. I think during my New Leaf island he was there too but I don't remember about that one
The very first villager I got in a campsite was Lucha! (I was so relived that it wasn’t chops xD)
To catch a wasp I usually shake a tree, run directly up a bit of ways, open up my pocket to equip my net, once equipped it turns your character around and I just hold A until I see the wasps close by and then catch them.
i just usually have my net in my hands while shaking trees, makes it more easier
Holding your net while shaking trees practically guarantees not being stung by wasps. Your character will face the wasp in their initial shock animation, you can mash A to catch the wasp immediately.
10:17 how do i find that ground design, it reminds me of the old games but my countless search online gote nowheres. I neeeeeed it.
i usually make money using fossils (especially once i finish that part of the museum) and crops. it makes a lot of money and some days i’ll get like 75,000 just off of fish and crops and fossils.
My first visitor was Julian. Hes still on my island. I love him.
when you dig a hole don't press A press Y your villager will kick dirt over it and saves a tone of durability
To clarify the wardell shop, you need to spend 150k poki or more.
I don't think I've ever gotten any Nook Miles for making wishes on stars. 🤔
Once you decorate a house in the DLC, talk to the villager you designed for if they appear on the main island. They hang out in the back near the beach. They will give you an item you used in their build (typically wallpaper or flooring)!
it is beneficial to get ac pocket camp for some people because it can lend you some positives and it unlocks some new furniture
there's a few exclusive furniture and clothing items. no other benefits though!
Thank you for the info, I didn’t know about the NookLink which is very helpful so thanks!
Tip: If you overload one acre with a lot of stuff, Isabelle will say something about it and it will also affect your star rating, find your prefered style and decorate it to your own taste
Bob's Gang. I didn't know about ALL the unlocks for happy home designers.
Catching wasps is actually pretty easy. Just make sure you have your net equipped, shake the tree from directly south, and as soon as the nest drops, start spamming the button to use your net, as you'll automatically face the wasps when they fall out of the tree.
Bobs gang
I also noticed theres an easy way to catch tarantulas.
Baloon help! To many flowers lol
Bobs gamg
Oh and ty also about talking about the wasp thing?...i thought they came in differentl trees each time
Can you explain the little library. Where do the books come from so I can make it?
I'm really late to getting the game, but what is the place with Brewster in it? Ive never seen it
It's the Roost, his coffee shop. You unlock it and it appears in the museum upstairs.
@hazeldavis3176 thank you, I had thought it was on a different island or maybe the paradise island
I've shook every tree on my island and I've never seen more than 1 item. I keep the space around the tree fairly clear too.
Omg thank goodness for the mailbox one! I have to move my flower bed out of the way every day 😂
I honestly just run around with a net and catch five wasps before getting crafting supplies that I would need.
Love my boy chops!
No joke, Raymond was my second camper. At the time I had no idea he was so coveted
For some reason I when I don’t heal my stings from wasps when I come back the next day or smth like that it goes away
Yup! They heal in their own time! If you get stung twice you will pass out! 😅
Your island is gorgeous
Im still having trouble finding out what im missing in my blatgers bugs.
I didnt know about the mailbox or the store in HHP i just bought it so i dont know much of it yet. Like how to unlock the restaurant and stores.
Zlso i didnt know about celeste at the bar, thank u
This video saved be from grey hairs!!! You got yourself a new follower 🎉
when shaking trees i always have my net equipped and shake from the front of the tree and as soon as wasps spawn keep spamming a button and boom easy wasp catches😊😊
I knew Wardell was hiding something from me lol that’s so cool
New to animal croasing started 1 month ago. The first camp people were some ape and a mouse. Not the ones you said
2:26 Agree
Wardell's shop i didn't even know D: HELP
nvm i realized i never unlocked it cuz i dont buy frequently
When I get chased by wasps and don’t have a net out I run into a nearby villagers house to not get stung.
The downfall of using Wardell's catalog is that you can't buy any clothing items (except for HHP exclusives)
Also no items made with diy recipes can be bought!
I kinda wish that Gracie had a shop on Harv’s island for that; or if you completed enough fashion challenges from Label, you could upgrade the Able Sisters shop and expand the range available.
I got lucky with my smug camper - Kidd! We're great friends
Any tips of getting every fruit for your island? I’m only missing oranges and apples :(
I honestly didn't know you could get food recipes from the restaurant in hhp and i gasped once i heard you could..
Great vid! I am always surprised what ppl didn't know! 😅
For the wishing on a star, I got 40 star fragments on my own. I think I was just lucky.
Only when you have everyone you want on your island then you can speak.
i found about the mail box when i accidentally picked it up lmao
I guess the wasp tip would work, but I think it’s just too much work to avoid. Because couldn’t there be a chance that one of the trees you didn’t separate have a wasp next spawn in it?
I am so here for the Chops slander :) I cannot stand him and he was my auto-invite camper when I restarted my island and I am still trying to get rid of him
I can’t find the nook link app on my phone, how do I get it??
Until I accidently popped a balloon in the river, I still had the same slingshot I bought ever, and ive been using it for months now and as soon as that balloon fell into the river my slingshot broke
Oh my, I'm here too early to leave a proper comment. 👀
My wasps move to different trees and I’ve had up to 4 different trees with wasps in the same day.
biggest flex is I got Raymond first time in the campsite
Same!!
Hi! Where can I see a tour of this island?
Bobs game I also have a tip to share don't know of anyone has found this put yet but when you talk to a character that says the same thing you can speed up the conversation by pressing b every time the say something
thanks
Do you have a dream address? Your island looks amazing ☺️
How do you get crops?
How do you get Wardell shop
If you fail in stuff or keep doing the same activity over and over you can get TONS of miles
Yes cool 😊😊 Jenna franch animal crossing New horizon
What is the happy & paradise please or what's a dlc? Thank you
3:15 This IS awesome, but you can't buy anything DIY from his shop.
I didn't know about Wardell! I let down my boy! 😭😭
Amazing 🤩
