Love Costner, but Yellowstone has plenty of characters and storylines. His character is replaceable. And rather than seeing the series end, I'd much rather see him replaced.

Wow! It's about time, Costner came on the Stern show.
Sheridan is not nearly as good as he thinks he is. Even in the entertainment industry, filled with narcissists, that can become a problem. Costner does not need “Yellowstone,” but “Yellowstone” needs Costner. Nobody else can play John Dutton, and everyone but Sheridan knows it.

2.26 million subs 220k views. So I say this: “Yellowstone” (to whom it may concern); let’s make it happen with Costner. He’s blatantly saying I’m down if you’re down. Let’s lock it in. Make it happen, pause the “other money making schemes; I mean scripts.” Let’s end it with a bang in 2024. 🙌🏽
Costner has also accepted a pay cut, if that could bring him back, so it's not about the money, as many has claimed it to be. It's all about schedules (and maybe a bit of ego). Sheridan needs to watch out, so he's not going to be too big for himself.

Kevin Costner has always been an epic storyteller. When I was a kid, I watched The Postman a million times. He would be good in so many things. Here’s an idea……. A show or set of movies on a the new commercial space race. Where he as a successful businessman invests everything he has and says he’s going to build rocket ships but knows nothing about the industry. But as you look into his character, he secretly always loved space since seeing the moon landing as a kid.
I think Yellowstone was excellent, however a series needs to end sometime, now is that time.

I love Yellowstone, but I think maybe it's ran it's course. The story was starting to get kinda ridiculous.

Sheridan took a page from the writers of Sons of Anarchy. Every season became more ridiculous than the previous season until it simply wasn’t sustainable. Yellowstone took the same path.

Taylor Sheridan has taken way too long to finish the script and start filming. As much of a Yellowstone fan as I am, I’ve honestly lost interest now. Also true for the prequel. And he can’t use the excuse of the writers strike.
Kevin wants to have quality time he doesn't need the money.
I think Taylor Sheridan is trying to put out to much at one time & the last season of Yellowstone shows that it's getting to out of control.

I don't watch Yellowstone because of Costner. If the storyline is great. Sheridan can find plenty of people to fill the character. It's about the struggles and challenges of the Western Way of Life. Not about Costner that make it appealing.

The script writer fucked up. All the sequels were cool but they did not bear Yellowstone with Costner. I just can't see it without him. He should focus on first show before developing others. He must have dyslexia mind with thousand stories going at once
