Alright yogis - Today we're exploring two movements that bring together the Surya Namaskara sequence. Both the jump forward and the jump back to Chaturanga Dandasana involve synchronizing movement, breath and bandha - and to control the movements, one must have a physically integrated understanding of all three. Fortunately, there are several options that a practitioner might use when moving through this vinyasa, so it is a part of the sequence that's accessible to absolutely all levels, from beginner to advanced, but selecting which version is appropriate for you is a key part of the process of naturally advancing through the levels until you can eventually float freely with complete control of where the body is in space - so regardless of whether you're stepping, jumping or learning to fly, the fundamentals explored in this tutorial will guide your path of progression. Much Love, E.

Big thank you. Excellent detailed explanation of each subtle move.
Nice, what a professional.
A very good help. Thank you!
Your video taught me. Thank you
❤ wow 🤩 amazing explanation
Excellent Video! Well Taught!!!!
Great workout 🙏 Thank You Very much
This is great Ethan I'm going to try this. My teacher advised that I was perhaps crouching too much before jumping forward and there was more leg energy than bandha. How much leg energy is needed in your opinion? Its hard for me to find that sweet spot
Thanks Ethan. Can you please share what make your outfit is? I know….but it is difficult to find men’s yoga stuff. Chris
This is amazing
Love it
Thank you for your great video!
I have a question.
How is the breath between trini and chatvari like 1:45?
I mean when your are flying before kicking in chatvari.
Do you hold a breath little bit?
I can not lift up my body with exhalation in chatvari.
Thank you.
Thank you for such an explanation. I can visualize what I need to do now. Do you have a teaching on Surya Namaskar A? Thank you. 🙏
This is great. Well done indeed. I like your succinct explanations However I do have a question regarding the jump forward where you say to take the deep knee bend to get the power from the legs. I recently watched another instructor say that the legs were not the power source as such, and that the flexion of the foot provides the impetus forward after the legs have straightened from not so much knee bend. He says, "It is not my legs that propel me forward. The legs are relaxed. It is the ankles and the toes that spring me forward." Also what tips are there for getting comfortable with the shoulders in advance of the hands on the floor for the jump back, please?
Can you share how to build strength over time to float for a beginner?
💪🙏
Where did you buy that vest.. look cool.
